    Things I liked:

Great look and feel to the Ruger 10/22. I was surprised at the accuracy. It is easy to add a Ruger Weaver adapter to the rifle so I could add a UTG Scope to it. The gun is light and easy to handle, and its a great rifle to introduce kids to. The magazines and extra clips are very cheap. In fact, they are too cheap at $6 each. Part of the reason the double action trigger is so heavy is that the magazine has way too much tension in the two springs in it. There are instructions on message boards on how to open up the magazine and fix it. I ended up cutting 3mm off of both springs with wire cutters and added a light amount of RWS Chamber Oil. If I messed up, it's only $6 to buy another magazine. It ended up taking many lbs off the double action trigger and cocking mechanism.

    Things I would have changed:

The reviews that mention the high weight of the trigger pull are not kidding. When I got the rifle out of the box, it was off the charts and at first I regretted the purchase. I even bought a trigger pull measuring device to see if it was just me. I was get 5 lb single action and 14lb+ double action. There are two issues that can easily be fixed. First was the magazine issue that I already described and explained how to fix. Second, it does not feel like they added anywhere near enough lubricant to the trigger assembly at the factory. It feels very gritty and dry when you pull it. There are even instructions online on how to take apart the gun to lubricate the trigger. However, it was much easier to use the needle that comes with the RWS Chamber Oil to get oil inside the trigger assembly without taking apart anything. I put in ALOT of oil by inserting the needle deep on all sides of the trigger, rotated it around to get good coverage, and got my single action pull down to 1.5 lbs.

    What others should know:

After fixing the magazine and lack of oil in the trigger assembly, the gun is a joy to use. A review suggested that the UTG Bugbuster was a good scope to put on the rifle. However, I found it too short and it didn't give me enough eye relief. A UTG True Hunter regular sized scope worked much better for me. I use this to help teach my kids how to shoot airguns, and I do not want young kids handling lead so I only use non-lead pellets. H&N Barracuda Green pellets worked perfectly and with great accuracy, but becareful of the Gamo Lethal pellets, I got those jammed in the gun. Also, the pellet seater that comes with the Air Venturi Pen and Seater set, works great in seating the pellets into the clip. Trying to just use your fingers quickly becomes annoying and you can slightly bend the pellet tail affecting the accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Has a nice weight and balance to it, pretty accurate, extra clips don't cost that much so you can get a bunch, preload, and shoot for a while. Looks pretty cool too--- like the real thing.

    Things I would have changed:

Here's the thing with this gun: it is a Ruger 10/22 replica. Supposedly, semi automatic. But the trigger pull is very hard unless you cock it each time you pull the trigger. And then it is functioning more like a bolt action rifle than a semi automatic. I like it, but, unless you don't mind some 8 pounds of pressure with each trigger pull, it's not a semi automatic, like my Crosman 1077 or my Springfield Armory M1 Carbine--- with those, you can plink plink plink for as long as you have CO2 in the tank!

    Things I liked:

My very first gun some 45 years ago was a Rugar 10/22 carbine and it has always been my absolute favorite! So yes I bought this for that nostalgia. The look feel and function of this is absolutely perfect! I was surprised at how much fun this is. Supper easy to load. Good accuracy and trigger feel. It is also fairly quiet thats perfect for a city neighborhood.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it came in a wood stock option.

    What others should know:

This is the absolute best first gun for kids! Once they get use to this switching them to the rim fire Rugar 10/22 will be so easy I bet they would never know! Ever owned a 10/22 but wish you could shoot in your back yard this is it! I absolutely love this gun and cannot recommend it more highly!

    Things I liked:

This is my second one of these. I bought the second because I gave the first to my father (after a year of using it, about 10K rounds) so he could participate in a "postal" target contest with my brothers, children, and grandchildren - 4 generations enjoying airguns together. Both are very accurate and a joy to use. Both have scopes - one uses a Field & Stream 4x32, the other with a Swiss Arms 3-9x40 Swiss Arms 3-9x40 Scope with... (I've bought half a dozen of those now too - great scope).

    Things I would have changed:

It would be fantastic if Umarex made it available with a wood stock. It would be much better if there were a way to reduce the trigger pull, especially in double-action mode.

    What others should know:

Expect 60 good shots from two CO2 bottles. I use the 10.5gr Crosman domed pellets in mine, Crosman Premier Heavy .177 Cal,... and Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum .177.... They both work very well. I store mine in my Plano 40.5" case Plano SE Rifle Case, 40.50".... It's a perfect fit.

I investigated adapting a standard 10/22 wood stock. After purchasing a cheap stock and making lots of measurements, I came to the conclusion that there are enough differences that it isn't worth the effort - making a new stock from scratch would be less work in the long run. So Umarex - the ball is in your court! Want to sell me two more? That's how you can!

    Things I liked:

Somewhat realistic look other than that nothing much!

    Things I would have changed:

Wimpy sound/10lb trigger pull that screws with the Accuracy of the gun/ Having it not run out of c02 so fast for once what else... Oh yeah most importantly Anemic Pellet velocities just cant have that Bump the velocity up to 880FPS and chamber it in .22 caliber instead! Btw I want to return this junk:-))

    What others should know:

Get a Qb78 instead only cost 100 bucks A bit less than this Way more power! Way more accuracy if you straighten the barrel And put a somewhat decent $35 Winchester scope on it and run 15.89Gr pellets 600+FPS depending on the temperature.......Goodluck and dont poke an eye out kid!

    Things I liked:

The look close to the real thing.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it blowback so it could be a true semi auto.

    What others should know:

I found out that if you put a dime between the two co2 capsules it puncture the co2 great. Since I do that I have not had a problem.

    Things I liked:

Accurate with cocking, looks nice, parts fit, accessories available, magazines work well.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger, the unbalanced stock.

    What others should know:

This rifle has the worst trigger of 25 rifles I own. Cocking the rifle lowers the force required to shoot, but the pull is still mushy. The stock is butt heavy and seriously unbalanced, also the worst I own. Mounting a scope takes away your cheek support because even with low mounts the scope sighting is too high. I raised my stock two inches. It likes CO2 a lot. I had high hopes for this rifle, but those are major flaws.

accurate, feels like a 10/22 hits pretty hard

    Things I would have changed:

changing co2 is a bit of a pain ,trigger pull on semi auto mode is hard more shots per refill

    What others should know:

i'm not able to even get 40 shots per co 2 fill
does not come with screws to mount optics rail , should come with a standard dovetail at least plan on buying a mount if you want to scope it
plan on cocking every shot with the hard trigger pull
umarex customer service non responsive when I emailed with a question
somewhat disappointed I bought as a perceived upgrade to a crosman 1077 it's not that much better and uses twice the co2 cartridges for a similar amount of shots

Immediately felt like an old friend. Was accurate to 25yds with open sights out of the box. Much like its big brother in .22lr, felt like I hit everything I shot at. Amazing rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    I wouldnt change anything.

    What others should know:

Buy extra magazine and rotary clips. And lots of pellets. This is a great rifle for plinking, but its plenty accurate for pest control and hunting to 30+ yds. 50+ good shits per CO2 reload. Great velocity/consistency and no problems piercing both CO2 cartridges (even Crosman)

Wasn't puncturing both co2 cartridges. After a little use it started punching both. You can use any Ruger 10/22 rails for it.

    Things I liked:

Lots of fun for plinking. great power, will absolutely take a squirrel however i would not take this hunting for anything other than plinking fun. long lasting co2 power. exact same look and feel as the real 1022 which is fun. the magazines are easy to load and readily available to buy extras. i have 6 red wheels and 2 mags always full and ready for the next squirrel. SUPER ACCURATE CO2 GUN. this doesn't need any aftermarket optics. ive had one for about 3-4 months and i will keep this in my arsenal for years to come. its also very quiet. almost as quiet as my benjamin marauder pcp gun. 10/10 would buy again. great job umarex!

    Things I would have changed:

22! id make this avail in 22 asap. the magazine is tight fitting with lead pellets. if you stick with alloy pellets (gamo lethal, pba, etc) you will have so much more power and stopping force. i wasn't able to take as many clean shots with lead pellets cuz they would get stuck in the chamber / magazine and misfire or jam. with alloy, perfect and more accurate shots every time. i would also change the buttstock co2 cover to be a different latch, i dont like the dime slot turn screw at all. id also gladly pay more for a pro version that is tuned with more power but i realize you are limited with co2.

    What others should know:

use pellgunoil EVERY refill. you may feel like you are over tightening the retention screw for the co2 but you aren't. you will hear two gasing sounds (one for each cart) and after you hear the second the buttstock should be in the upright position. i thought i was going to break it and over tighten but it was actually perfect. gun holds air a week at a time like this.

i've heard form a few people online this gun has a few known issues with the seals and air retention. one reviewer here said they were not able to take a squirrel with theirs. if you have one and its weak REPLACE IT, Ruger / Umarex has great customer service. a friend with this gun never used pellgunoil and kept jamming due to the leaky seals or whatever. they returned it for a new one and that gun works as it should.

    Things I liked:

Well the first thing I liked was it looks and feels exactly like a 10/22 and who doesn't love a 10/22. The second thing I loved was the accuracy. This thing is a tack driver and with the right pellets will put 10 of them into a tiny ragged hole at 33 feet (11 yards/10 meters). It is also not extremely ammo sensitive and has shot most of the pellets I've tried (about a dozen so far) very accurately and shoots 1/2 to 3/4 inch 10 round groups at 10 meter target with 75% of the ones I've tried. All testing was done cocking the gun to use the lighter single action trigger pull and most plinking was done rapid fire with the heavier double action trigger pull. This thing is a lot of fun,

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if they would include at least a couple of extra clips and perhaps even an extra complete magazine and couple of extra clips. You will want several. I have 2 complete mags and a total of 7 clips and plan on picking up a few more. I am getting about 70 shots per fill but there is still about 20-30 un-usable shots left in the CO2's. Would be nice to have a little more power for the un-usable air and a little more power would have been nice overall. Only other complaint is sights are plastic and not easily drift adjustable and mine shot about an inch left out of box. I used a cheap but awesome UTG red dot and fixed that problem real quick.

    What others should know:

Buy lots of CO2 and pellets , some extra clips and a decent scope or red dot and you will have a blast!

    Things I liked:

This rifle is nearly an exact duplicate of the actual 10/22.... same weight, handling, feel, etc. This is one of the most accurate air rifles I have every shot! After some break in, I was shooting 10 shot groups of less than 1/2" at 15 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

-First, the butt plate access lock to the C02 area.... difficult to get into, and difficult to close/latch. -Leaky C02 system..... I returned two of these guns due to C02 leaking out in/around the trigger area.... this was after several hundred rounds, and each time, when putting in new C02, could hear the leak, and by the time I got a magazine in the gun to shoot....the C02 was gone. This was finally not an issue with the third gun I received. -Power..... this gun is strictly a plinker. At 20 yrds and beyond the pellet drop is significant. I shot a squirrel in the backyard, and watch through the scope as the pellet literally bounced off, and the squirrel ran away. -Cold Weather!!! This gun is affected more by cold than any other C02 gun I've used. After about 10 mins in 20F, on full C02 carts, you can literally watch the pellet's flight through the scope. Make your own assumption from there. :)

    What others should know:

I loved the accuracy, and the resemblance to the actually 10/22, but ultimately returned the gun for a refund.... if it can't kill a squirrel, then it's really of no use to me.

This gun while accurate, does not even remotely have the power necessary for anything beyond plinking. That's unfortunate, because I really like the gun overall.

    Things I liked:

They look and design of the rifle was true to the Ruger 10/22. Looks and handles good. I like the 10 round rotary mag, similar to real rifle. Pretty accurate even at 30 yards for me.

    Things I would have changed:

The mag release is not that easy for removing mag. Takes some getting used to for a quick release and reload. The double action trigger pull is terrible, compared to all my other CO2 and BB pistols and rifles. thank goodness they have the option of single cock which is very clean and crisp but cant use for rapid shorting. And for $100+ item I wish they would include more than one plastic pellet holder.

    What others should know:

Doesnt come with dovetail mount. has holes for weaver rail or scope mounts. Extra mags are available at about $5 to $7 a pair.

    Things I liked:

Great little pellet rifle! I really like having the 10-shot magazine and I like the convenience of CO2. It is also accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

It only gets about 50-60 shots per two(2) CO2 cartridges.

    What others should know:

Do NOT use Crosman CO2 cartridges in this rifle! My first one jammed and locked up. Umarex said it was the CO2 cartridges. I use them in a pistol I have with no problem. Using two butt-to-butt in this rifle does not work.
