Things I liked:

Has anyone experienced co2 leakage in this weapon...recently received my Spartan in the mail excited to open and try it out. The gun is beautiful and performed flawlessly when there is a fresh co2 carthridges in it however there seems to be a defect in co2 seal but still I would recommend this pistol ...presently I am awaiting an RMA number for a replacement from Pyramyd air

Things I would have changed:

I would like to see full lock back capability for replica realism...upon completion of firing the guns locks back but only exposes an inch or so of the barrel

What others should know:

Yes order this gun don't be afraid.. It's a beautiful piece and I was very satisfied with its performance Sans the cylinder leak...

Need Some Advise

I'm writing not because I am dissatisfied with the product. I own a couple of Sigs for my own use. These two were for my grandsons -- ages 7 & 8. When I received them, I realized that they were about as heavy as the "real thing" (the one I wore in Vietnam). So, I need some advice. I ended up buying the boys two decent bb rifles and still have the Sigs. I would like to know if I can exchange the guns (still in their boxes) for another product. I already have .22s for the boys (Browning). I think it would be great to have the boys learn pistol with bb guns, but these are just too heavy. Please advise. Not trying to cheap it out, but just trying to give them something that they'll love to use. We'll be heading to the indoor range soon with their bb rifles; would love to add lightweight bb pistols to the mix. Thanks for any help.

    1911 Spartan BB gun

I wanted this gun but couldn’t find it anywhere. So I decided to buy this because I loved the look of it and it has not let me down. It looks and feels like the authentic gun!

It looks very nice and feels like the real 1911s

    Things I would have changed:

If only you can have a choice to use lead BBs

    Best bang for your buck

Best bang for your buck for a weapon that you can actually use for practice

  • 5.0 5.0

More fun than an adult and kids should have.

My new favorite gun is a BB gun, a full size 1911 made in Japan and is cheap to shoot, great for training and teaching younger shooters gun safety and how to shoot. Myself and my granddaughter are have a lot of fun shooting the Sig Spartan 1911 BB gun.

    Blemishes

I really like the gun except in two locations were there are scratches or I should say missing paint.

    Things I liked:

Heavy. realistic feeling 1911. Nice blowback, locks open on empty. Pretty accurate for a BB gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the stupid EXTRA safety release button. Why would you change a perfectly functional, and simple design, used on the real Sig to something more complicated on a BB gun? And then fail to even mention it in the manual, leaving you to figure out why the safety won't release.

    What others should know:

Good customer service from Pyramyd Air

    Things I liked:

Realistic weight and feel of a true 1911. Great fit and finish with a decent trigger. Love the ability to add flashlight or lazer to the gun for varmint assaults at night.

    Things I would have changed:

None noted as of yet, but still getting the feel of the gun.

    What others should know:

If you order on of these weapons, be sure to order several (or more) mags. While not that hard, it is time consuming so less time on the range is loading and more time in shooting. Not the most powerful, around 420 fps and fairly accurate, it is a great can shooter for the back yard.

    Leaking CO2

I wanted this the moment I saw it, I ended up getting it as a Christmas present in 2021. It worked great for a while until I loaded a new CO2 cartridge into it and it started shooting gas straight out of the barrel. It causes the slide to become ice cold so I think it’s a valve leak. I don’t know how to fix this.

Looks and feels great. Not too crazy about the safety switch. Other than that all good.

    Excellent Gun

This is an excellent gun. It is five stars for realism, it is all you can expect for a reasonably priced airgun. If you want 110%, however, get the We the People 1911. It is so much better. The Spartan is 5 stars but the We the People knocks it out of the park, for an extra 10 dollars (I think) it is worth it

    Major Failure

Gun worked great until I stopped using it for a couple months. Not sure if the o rings failed or the springs got sprung but essentially the co2 blows thru the striker pin assembly which delivers the air to the bb. I've totally disassembled an put back together just to get two good trigger pulls then back to the original issue. What I found was the striker pin is getting stuck halfway thru the cycle thus emptying the co2 cartridge. I have a p226 legion and enjoyed practicing quick acquisition but now it's a paperweight. Not mad just disappointed.

The gun handles really well and has excellent power. Highly recommend the gun for an inexpensive gun handling and target practice.

    Nice feel to the pistol

This is an accurate easy to shoot BB gun. use it to run of possums and raccoons even without the BBs it has a satisfying pop that makes the varmits run. Also using it to improve my wife's accuracy by shooting at targes. The pistol has a nice heft to it as well.

    Things I liked:

Feels just like a full size 1911 pistol. Moving slide is a nice touch. CO2 cartridge is easy to load. Magazines are easy to load and very inexpensive to purchase. Cartridge life is very good.

    Things I would have changed:

The thumb safety takes a little getting used to. The realy pistol does not have the extra button on it.

    What others should know:

First CO2 air gun for me.

    Fun gun...

The gun is so much fun. Looks and feels like the real thing. Two draw backs; 1-Loading the CO 2 cylinder takes some getting used to. Would be nice if you could just unscrew a cap under the grip, drop in the CO2 and screw the cap back on. 2- maybe come up with a double stack “BB mag”. Just start enjoying the shoot and it’s out of BB’s. Maybe sell extra mags? Very tedious loading the BB’s into the little hole in the mag. But once all is said and done it’s a fun gun to practice with.
