Typical Sig superior product. Weight, feel, balance all reflect that of the original Spartan 1911. Accurate to range I need to discourage vermin.

Bought this over the summer and been having trouble changing the CO2 cartilage

I bought this product a while ago for plinking and cheap target practice. it has the heft and feel of a 1911, without the recoil. I own a sig Sauer 1911 Emperor Scorpion in .45acp, and I am impressed with how similar the BB gun feels.

My Spartan is a show piece ! Master craftsmanship , feel and look of the real pistol . Sig got it right this time . I enjoy the weight, balance trigger and blowback action . It’s a real straight shooter but I’ll more than likely display this gem .

The 1911 is by far my favorite hand gun. When I saw this I was amazed by how accurate and well Built it was. Could not be more happy with it. I would recommend to anyone

I like everything about the Sig Spartan 1911. It's fun to shoot and has a realistic action and features. I shot about 100 BB's to break it in and had no malfunctions. Accuracy is good for a BB gun, it is not a precision target pistol but for a $100 you can't beat it. I'm waiting to try some Dust Devil BB's in it when they are back in stock.

More power can not make a hole in cardboard box at 4 feet away. Used 2 co cylinders. 3 clips full clips of BBs maybe needs more break in gave it plenty oil

Well for the money it is a gresat deal, I use the new Air Venturi fragible ?? BBs that shatter on impact. I am shooting steel targets in timed scenarios. Accuracy is what you would expect from a smooth bore BB gun, I can hit the steel target 20 yards away pretty quick, closer targets really no need to aim. No ,malfunction so far, prob have about15 mags thru it and 5 or so CO2, I get 4 mags out of 1 co 2. Blow back action is good, weight and feel are similar to real one, its not a plastic POS. I really like this for what I use it for , fast shooting at close ranges. Power is....it will go thru a coke can, however bbs bounce back when shot into oak.

Saftey, should not have to depress a button before taking off safe, make it like the real one.. Would really be cool if they could make the mags more realistic rather than the thin one they currently use.

It is a good deal, wish it had a case to keep it in similar to the Winchester 1911, like I have.

No doubt this is a beautiful gun. It has a very good weight and feel. It shoots hard and kicks hard with a fresh C02.Pretty accurate @ 25 feet, @ 30 feet with a fresh C02, you won't have a nice grouping. I bought a laser sight for this gun and it has improved a lot since sites can't be adjusted.

Adjustable rear sites for windage. better quality on the rear and front sites

I bought this gun in January and have been using it daily. I probably shot around 800 bbs with this gun. I mentioned more quality on the sites because when I was using it, the screw that holds the rear site fell off over and over again to the point that the whole rear site went flying over my head.The rear site is made of metal so if it lands on your head it would hurt. And when this happens the metal slide (rear) will pop up causing it not to fire. If you push it back down it will operate normally. After it happened several times I finally took the slide off and super glued the thing to the blowback mechanism and glued the little screw. This little screw is what is holding everything. With the violent blowback of the gun, this little screw cannot handle it. After this, it developed a slow leak but I was able to fix it. Then yesterday, the front site went flying to the air. It was not screwed in or glued. It was like pressure fitted to the holes.

Has anyone experienced co2 leakage in this weapon...recently received my Spartan in the mail excited to open and try it out. The gun is beautiful and performed flawlessly when there is a fresh co2 carthridges in it however there seems to be a defect in co2 seal but still I would recommend this pistol ...presently I am awaiting an RMA number for a replacement from Pyramyd air

I would like to see full lock back capability for replica realism...upon completion of firing the guns locks back but only exposes an inch or so of the barrel

Yes order this gun don't be afraid.. It's a beautiful piece and I was very satisfied with its performance Sans the cylinder leak...

Fit and finish are very nice. Smells a little funky when you first take it out of the packaging due to the finish but that diminishes after a while and the finish itself seems like it will be durable as compared to other all metal replica guns. The trigger is pretty stiff but has zero creep and feels pretty good. The overall shot quality is very nice, though the recoil isn't as strong as a lot of other blowbacks. The sights look nice, and the checkering on the grip frame is a good touch. The magazine has a strong magnet at the top so there aren't any bbs rolling around during loading. The camlock CO2 loading is interesting but does take a fair bit of grip strength to close. One thing to note this is probably the quietest air pistol out of all that I own.

The magazine. It is plastic and seems very fragile. If there is going to be a failure point on this gun, that will be it. It has the pinky swell at the bottom that forms part of the faux magazine, and it feels so flimsy that I think you could rip it off if you brushed by something too hard with it holstered. The slide does lock back after the last shot but only about 5/8" which is a little strange because it actually can travel as far back as a real 1911 would. The extra button on the thumb safety is a little hard to get operate and may be hard to actuate with gloves on. The right side ambi safety lever is non functional. After the first couple of magazines, the accuracy isn't as good as my tanfoglio at this point but that very well could be the result of a little break in being required.

I really like this air gun, though with it you do trade some scale realism for slightly improved performance over say a Swiss arms or tanfoglio 1911 as far as efficiency and velocity goes. Over all it's well worth the money and a lot of fun to shoot.
