I had previously purchased an ASP20 in .177 caliber and liked it enough to also buy one in .22. This air rifle is of superior build and quality. I have always been a big fan of Sig Sauer firearms and they have hit a home run with their new air rifles. They shoot like a "real" rifle and are exceedingly accurate within the envelope of an air-powered gun. I opted for the wood furniture on both and recommend that option to anyone considering getting one. Also, the "Whiskey 3" scope mounted on this gun is one of the best I have ever used of any type. I am amazed at the tiny groups I can print with both of these rifles, they actually make me look good at our local air rifle range. Also - I have dubbed my .22 ASP20 the "Squirrel Hammer" - it flat gets the job done and I have sent many a tree rat to the Big Oak Tree in the Sky with that one. I am enjoying these two ASP20's so much that I have placed all of my previously owned air rifles in the back of the safe. I highly recommend the ASP20 in either caliber and definitely suggest getting one with the scope package.

Although I've only had this pellet rifle a little over a month I find it very accrete with the 4 different pellets that i have tried.Once broken in I expect the groups to tighten up even more. The Whiskey scope is fine quality and gives a good sight picture. Do you at Pyramyd Air sell scope caps ????? I would think they would come with rifle/scope combo..

Needs scope caps to come with combo... Also a automatic safety would be nice but once using this set up one becomes SORT of used to clicking on the safety after loading a pellet.

The build quality of this rifle is excellent and I can't find a thing that I would change; the power and accuracy are supreme. It proves out the old axiom......you pay for what you get. The groups are tight and consistent. The .177 hits with authority............I really like it.

The Whiskey3 scope.......although the glass was good it arrived without lens caps and it had enough finger smudge and specks on the inside of the lens that I mounted it on a lesser quality rifle. I then mounted a different scope on the ASP20. I am surprised and saddened that Sig Sauer let this scope get out of their plant, I have owned several of the firearms and thought their quality control was first class, until now.

I should have ordered the 10 for 10 with this rifle but forgot to do so. If I had PA would have caught the scope issues. Oh well, live and learn.

I have put well over 4500 rounds through the asp20 and it is a joy to shoot. Once i got use to the shot cycle and had selected a good pellet, it has become a tack driver for me producing ragged one holes at 25 yards. This gun is getting better the more I shoot it. Out of the box the trigger had a 2.5 lb break with two obvious stages. It felt much "lighter" than 2.5 lbs, and had no creep at all at the break to second stage. Fun gun to shoulder, aim, and shoot. Below are my 3 targets as I sighted the scope.

High quality and the price reflects it. Attention to detail and workmanship very good. Cocking effort is smooth and manageable. Trigger is adjustable and has a precision feel no issues with the trigger shape which boils down to personal preferences anyway. Feels balanced and comes to rest naturally. Shoots as good as the person using it. The Whiskey scope has good optics and is easy to use. Made in the USA which to me is reason enough to own one plus it goes well with my collection on Sig handguns.

Weight is the biggest issue as it weights much more than my old foriegn made air rifles. These thing is built like a tank with proper maintenance it should last a life time.

You get what you pay for.

Easy to cock, very accurate, great scope, good power! I am 67 years old and dont have the strength I used to have but I can easily cock the gun. The gun is heavy but it makes it steady to shoot. I can keep the shots in about an inch circle at 30 yds. I have it sighted in at 30 yds and it is about 3/4 inch high at 12 yds and 1/4 inch high at 20 yds. I am using Diablo Field Heavy 18g pellets. The pellets easily go through 3/4 inch pine boards and into a tree. I also love the scope, it has parallax adjustment to focus the scope for the distance you are shooting at. The scope is very bright. The quality of the gun and scope is incredibly good, a beautiful combination.

Add a sling, make a Safety easier to see if its on safe.

This gun is quite heavy. I haven't taken it in the woods but I think I will put a sling on it. But, it should be accurate enough to hit a squirrel at 30 yds. And powerful enough to kill it quickly. The scope comes mounted to the gun and only needed elevation adjustment. The gun came in a cardboard box in cut out foam and then that box was in another cardboard box with packing material.

Accurate! BEST 5 shot groups at 25 yard, .115 and .210. Diabolo Jumbo. It feels like I'm sitting behind my SIG3000 .308., without the BANG and KICK.

The accuracy, the scope is excellent, the ease of cocking, the crisp trigger, the synthetic stock, the quietness, its solid feel . . . pretty much everything about it! Pyramid Air provided quick delivery. It arrived well protected.

I can't think of anything that I'm not pleased with. I wouldn't change anything.

I've had this rifle/scope combo now for just under two weeks. In that time I've been to the range once with it. After two hours of shooting it, I left the range that day feeling extremely happy about my purchase. It did not take long to zero in the scope. After getting it zeroed in, I was amazed at the accuracy. I was using an outdoor 20 yard pistol range and was putting shot after shot in the same dime size hole. At one point I could actually see a small sweat bee land on one of my targets. I nailed it with one shot. I completely obliterated the bulls eye center of every target I put up. I can only imagine how effective this rifle would be on small game. With it's magnum power and amazing accuracy, critters wouldn't stand a chance against this rifle! If you're looking for an air rifle for small game hunting or just for target shooting and/or plinking, I can recommend the Sig Sauer ASP20 with complete confidence. You won't be sorry you chose this rifle and scope!

After 4 shots to sight it in.14 pellets in one hole about the size of shirt button.Granted only 20 yards but that was off a bag and I shake a lot.

Only thing I would change is a side focus on the scope other than that every thing is top shelf

Take your time with the trigger adjustments tiny movements of the allen key make a difference.
