SIG Sauer breaks into the breakbarrel airgun market with the US made ASP20 Break Barrel Rifle, a suppressed single-shot, gas piston rifle ideal for backyard target shooting and taking down small game.
Available in .177 and .22 the ASP20 uses a gas piston powerplant that is specially calibrated to deliver its pellets downrange at optimal speeds for accuracy and energy. The added benefit of this powerplant is the ability to shoot in colder weather without sacrificing power as you would with a spring-piston. Each uses a Glidelite Cocking Mechanism to ensure that your cocking effort is a smooth and manageable 33 lbs. In the .177 caliber, the ASP20 slings pellets at 1021 fps, and at 841 fps in .22 to dump 20 to 23 FPE into your targets. This design is based on the notion that subsonic pellets will fire more accurately, a maxim that proves true time and time again among premium airguns. Built for quiet backyard shooting, those powerful shots are all moderated by an integrated suppressor.
Moving to the action, the ASP20 features an adjustable 2-stage Matchlite® Trigger, designed for smooth and consistent trigger pulls to aid in accurate shot placement. A proprietary drill-pinned Breach Wedge Lock System also aids in improved accuracy by perfectly lining up the action with the barrel. A long Weaver/Picatinny rail awaits your choice of optics, and all of these features are set into an ergonomic black synthetic stock with checkering on the grip and forend.
All of these options culminate in a superior gas-piston breakbarrel air rifle that lives up to SIG’s legacy of crafting airguns with innovative technology and quality construction that deliver hours of shooting fun.

High quality build. Very accurate. Adjustable trigger. High quality airgun scope.
Things I would have changed:The ballistic turret on the scope is a good concept but you must use the specific pellet it is designed for.
What others should know:I purchased this rifle/scope combo directly from Sig Sauer since the larger airgun our lets were out of stock. Ive been shooting PCPs for years but I wanted a high quality break-barrel and had been reading good things about this new Sig ASP20. I must say all of the hype was pretty much true! I got the .22 as I want to hunt small game with it. I find the rifle very well made and accurate. With JSB Exact pellets and JSB Hades pellets, both 15.89 grains, I am routinely shooting 5-shot groups at 25 yards that are well under 1/2 inch. I even shot a 1 inch group at 50 yards! Thats unheard of with a springer! Im also very impressed and pleasantly surprised with the Whisky3 ASP scope. So often, airgun/scope combos include a very sub-standard scope. Not this combo! The Whisky3 is a very good airgun scope with positive and repeatable adjustments.

Smooth, reasonable cocking effort, trigger feel excellent, great accuracy, quiet, recoil similar to rim fire 22LR, high pellet impact energy judged from trap, Scope optics, brightness, features. Came with scope mounted and zeroed fairly close. Overall weight and fit perfect. Much nicer than the Benjamin NP Vaporizer in terms of power, noise, recoil, cocking effort and overall weight.
Things I would have changed:Nothing for me. Stock fit me perfectly. Overall the combo pleasantly exceeded my expectations.
What others should know:Good value and well worth the investment.

Very well made. Excellent fit and finish. Seems very accurate and consistent - although I have only put 100 rounds through it.
Things I would have changed:I just haven't owned it long enough to comment.
