    Great gun for training

I’ve had it for six months about 150 shots nozzle broke, Sig fixed it for free in a week and a half has been fine since, I’m in Jersey so I actually use it in some online training and I’ve shot the real one and it mimics it perfectly, spare nozzles are on evike. Com pretty cheap, any new gun has to be tweaked and messed with but Sig will prob have it corrected soon the new one they put in mine runs great!

    Wouldn't buy again

I own several sig products (non airsoft) and wanted to get my milsim setup as close as possible to the real things that I own. This product is made in Tiawan, where the majority of airsoft guns are, so don't expect it to be "sig quality" - on the first attempt to load CO2 it all blew out, and after wasting several cans I eventually ended up breaking the magazine. I was able to get a Green Gas replacement from SIG (otherwise this would be a 1-2 star review) - which operates just fine. Not any more or less accurate than my old 1911 GBB pistol that I got at a thrift store, so I'm pretty meh.

    Looks awesome

So excited to use and it was pretty easy to use and fun to shoot but after a handful of times it began to shoot differently. And now in the 20th day after purchasing and around 10th time shooting the muzzle (orange tip) just broke and the slide cracked!!! Used lightly and treated very nicely, how could in break already??!! So so so disappointed!!!

    Nozzle

A beautiful replica, but after a dozen or so shots of the nozzle damaged, the worst thing is that nowhere can be used parts As you can see, there is every person who bought it

    Worth it

I purchased this pistol specifically for the purpose of attending a Force on Force Course at Altus Training Solutions, Baker, FL, taught by Bill Rapier, American Tactical Shooting Instruction. This was my second time taking this course, involving live pistol training, plus combatives, blade work, medical and other elements and this time I showed up with the Sig plus one spare mag after gladly making the purchase. The first time I took the class I showed up with a no-name pistol purchased from a big box store immediately before the class - big mistake. In real "air soft world" the no-name pistol would have got me killed about 50 times. Later, I made it a point to visit the Sig booth at the Shot Show and actually spent time looking at Sig's Airlift line, where I decided to order the M17 for the second AmTac Force on Force Class. Yes, I spent time at Shot looking at an Airsoft gun. I wanted a pistol I would not confuse with my daily carry either in color or size and I set up a separate range bag strictly for the airsoft pistol and training blade including CO2 cartridges and light pellets. The gun ran well, including the safeties, from an actual loaner M17 holster, with slide and mag changes feeling close to a real gun, I did not drop the mags in the dirt because the feed lips looked fragile, but once during a hand-to-machete encounter my opponent broke my grip on the pistol, it landed hard, got kicked aside and later ran fine with no damage. Trigger was right on and sights were not a toy. I even mounted a Surefire x300 Ultra on the pistol but had to take it off to holster. Especially glad I own this now that Corona lockdown is here, only my wife keeps asking, "What are all of these little green pellets?" The fortune cooke from this story is, Do not buy an airsoft pistol from a country that does not allow its citizens to own guns. You are making the effort to travel to a training course and to commit to learning new skills. To show up with junk gear is disrespectful to your instructor and to your training partners.

    Nice gun, but....

So far I have been very impressed, but today during some Covid19 shooting in the garden the nozzle broke of. So, where to get a new one and hopefully improved version?

No manual and broken in box

Sorry to post a review so fast, prior to shooting a bb. The pistol does not have a manual in the box and on first trigger pull, a small plastic, fake, screw located at the rear of the slide by the sights, broke off. Never been so let down so fast.

    Air nozzle Broke

I was so excited to get this gun. Filled a magazine with bbs and even before emptying the magazine it stopped cycling. I ejected the magazine and the front part of the air nozzle fell out as well. Very dissappointed. Worst part is you can’t even get a replacement nozzle anywhere.

    Sucks practicing from the draw.

I bought this to help CID agents in my office with their weapons mechanics and when the airsoft round rolls out of the barrel after every round on it's own it becomes a distraction. Either keep it from falling out or allow the slide to cycle without rounds to complete the drills. The rail needs some refining because the MantiX trainer takes a hammer to get off.

    burst nozzle

on the 9th ball, the nozzle broke . Very unreliable plastic casting . Where to buy a spare part I do not know in my country VFC spare parts can not sell to me because of the contract with sigsauer

Great gun other than slide catching the mag.

I bought this 2 days ago. Great weight, good mechanics, nice feel to the blow back. However, it kept locking itself in empty position. I thought maybe bbs were catching in the mag. But I happen to be next to 2 british dudes who said they had the exact problem. The showed me where the slide sometimes catches the mag. which interrupts the blow back. They sent it in a few times before they sent back a filed down mag. Please fix the issue for others. But dont let this detour you, its an excellent gun with just a minor fixable issue! Onced its fixed I'll give it 5stars.

    Love it!

Excellent to practice with at home when I don’t have time to go to the range.

Top quality with very reasonable price.

This is one of the hardest kicking airsoft pistols I've used. I stick with CO2, but even the green gas has a good kick. Its super comfortable to hold and the hop adjustment is super handy. I would pit this gun against a custom high end hi-capa any day. My only gripe with the gun is the threading on the outer barrel. It is 13mm negative. That means that if you want to use a tracer unit you need a thread adapter that is 13mm- to 14mm-. This does not exist. That means the only thing you can do is get it custom machined. I'm guessing Sig did this on purpose with the intent to eventually put out their own adapter you have to buy from them. But besides this, it is a great gun for outdoor matches. Very solid build that can take a beating.

    Awesome

Purchased to use for training. So happy with the quality and similar feel to the real thing. Provides great realistic training without the cost and the added bonus of use just about anywhere.

    Things I liked:

Although I do not have the M17 firearm, the SIG CO2 Airsoft is said to be a representative replica. My copy shoots a little low, even after adjusting the hop up, but the pattern is good. One CO2 cartridge is good for 3 to 4 full magazines of BBs. Trigger is good.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a red dot to the safety. In spite of being noted in the manual, the safety does not show a red dot to indicate the gun is ready to fire. Add a lock to the magazine spring follower; again, this is shown in the manual but does not exist. The manual points out the hop up rod but does not include instructions.

    What others should know:

The M17 manual must have been copied or cloned from a different model gun as it has misleading instructions for the M17. SIG quality control must not be very good. The red dot for the safety was not painted on so I had to paint it myself -- must be a very tiny dot. Also, it does no good to attempt to add QC by virtue of buying test shots from PyramydAir. I bought the "10 Shots for $10" but on unpacking my gun, the magazine spring was found to be hanging out of the hole in the bottom end cap of the magazine. The magazine, as received, could not be loaded or installed in the gun. I can't imagine how the gun was test fired unless a different magazine was used. Fortunately, I was able to tediously work the spring into the magazine coil by coil. With my modification and repair and turning the hop up all the way, my M17 shoots well. The SIG M17 does not have the solid feel of the KWA airsoft pistols but it is OK.

    Airgun?

Feels amazing. Field stripping replication is great. Any chance of it to be produced with .177/4.5mm? It would be great.

Nice airsoft gun, good feel, well built

I have put around 150 rounds through this gun. Airsoft guns are hard to tell how long they will last. This one feels well built and has done some things right. The front mount is nice to have for a flshlight, etc. Pros: Shoots good. FPS with CO2 shooting 20 grain BB inside cronos at 380fps. Thats quite fast. Great for outside plan. My local indoor airsoft arena however limits FPS to 350 so i cant use this gun. The hopup adjustment works good. Cons The mag is fragile (please see my review on the Co2 Mag). You don't want to drop it. This is the reason I am giving the gun a 4 star.

    Nice Well Made Replica

I just got this a week ago. It is well made and a safe and less expensive way to practice skills. While not as weighty as a real one, its got decent heft . There were no jams and it is easy to swap out CO2 cartridges. A bit tedious reloading but very minor in the overall design. A good investment. And it seems built to last. I can see my son using this too.
