Things I liked:

I now own two Model 29s. One was made by Smith & Wesson, the other by Umarex. Comparing the two side by side is amazing. The Umarex's attention to detail, right down to the pinned barrel, is incredible and the blued finish is beautiful. The cylinder seemed wobbly at first but pulling the trigger or cocking the hammer pops up the cylinder stop and locks it up tight for the shot. Accuracy is surprisingly good, considering that it is a smoothbore. The cartridges are the same as for the Umarex Colt SAA so I tried the pellet cartridges from my Colt with Crosman 7.9 grain domed hollow points. Just shooting off hand, accuracy with BBs or pellets is definitely minute-of-beer can good out to 45-50 feet. Maybe not quite as good as the Colt with it's rifled barrel but still good enough to be fun. The pellets did seem to be a little more accurate than BBs. The single action trigger is very smooth. Double action trigger pull is acceptable with a clean, predictable break.

Things I would have changed:

Given the overall high quality of this revolver, it's good trigger and especially it's adjustable target sights, it really deserves a rifled barrel. C'mon Umarex.

What others should know:

Even if you don't harbor any secret Untidy Hairy fantasies, this a great BB gun!

Things I liked:

Box and overall look is cool.

Things I would have changed:

This is definitely an air soft pistol that was converted - mixed. It's a lot of sizzle and not much steak- specifically it feels like like metal on top of cheap plastic. I was lucky enough too own and purchase a UMAREX SW revolver in Germany and Umarex's quality is dropping - fast.

What others should know:

Glad to see price dropped. Pyramid Air is always excellent. Just my honest feedback on a air gun I was waiting to be "less flimsy."

    Things I liked:

Excellent replica features of a real S&W 29 Classic. Visually and dimensionally it's really close, and the metal finish looks a lot like real bluing. It is nicely accurate for a long barrelled bb pistol even though the cylinder is wobbly due to the very loose yolk/crane cylinder lock up. I only purchased this for the replica nostalgia of the S&W 29 and it's a real looker of a bb pistol!

    Things I would have changed:

1.) Looseness/locking of the yolk/crane cylinder assembly. There is a functional spring loaded bolt lock (ejector rod catch) in the ejector rod cavity of the barrel under lug that is not being used?? That would fix this issue as it would aide locking closed by securing the end/tip of the ejector rod, just like in the real deal?? I have changed/modded mine to catch/detent the rod a bit, so it locks up a little better now. But yeah, that's a terribly sloppy fit and function that needs to be addressed. 2.) The grips look nice but they are lacking in thickness/robustness as in the ASG DW 715. and feel extremely light and hollow compared to the heft of the metal pistol. Lastly the molded in fake screw head is brown plastic grip color? Seems cheap and cheesy for such an otherwise well detailed replica pistol.

    What others should know:

It's a better overall value of a very cool replica revolver than as a bargain performance bb air pistol. Collectors will have to have it, but shooters eh, not as much.. Ymmv!

    Things I liked:

This is a very impressive BB gun overall. It looks just awesome when you open the box; beautiful finish, nice sights, and generally solid construction. Not as heavy as the real item, but it still has some solid heft. I like that the CO2 wrench is built into the grips. Very tight lock-up once cocked. Crisp single-action trigger pull. Accuracy is certainly not match grade, but definitely "fun grade". Roughy 1" at 10 yards. Very easy to load. I haven't tried speed loaders yet with the cartridges, but it's nice to just open the cylinder, pop a BB into the back of each cartridge, and you're back in action. Lots of shots per CO2 cylinder; reviewers on-line indicated they were getting 80 shots; I got at least that many.

    Things I would have changed:

Like most here, I would prefer a rifled barrel. But it's hard to beat the price off BB's for fun shooting. The most disconcerting thing I found was the sloppy feel of the cylinder/crane when not cocked; there's movement in the crane and you can easily rotate the cylinder. Once cocked, however (and at the point of firing), the cylinder locks up very tightly. Single action trigger pull is nice and crisp, but heavier than typical S&W. Double action pull is lighter than the real thing, but feels kind of "toy gun" like; long and with a lot of stacking. I would have liked some additional sight adjustment as well.

    What others should know:

Overall a very fun and impressive BB revolver. And Pyramid Air did a great job shipping it to me quickly and in good shape. Great price, and I'm having a blast with it!

    Things I liked:

Excellent reproduction M29, it has all the feel and looks of a real M29. Finish is an excellent reproduction of the Blued gun. It is also quite accurate and fun to shoot and trigger is quite good. Works nice as dual action or single. I waited for mine on a pre-order for some time as I first saw the review in a 2020 Air Gun magazine, and it was worth the wait!

    Things I would have changed:

A little better finish on the cylinder as its finish doesn't quite match the frame but not bad at all.

    What others should know:

If you are looking for a real nice replica of a hand cannon wheel gun this, is it! Make My Day!

    Things I liked:

Umarex has done it again. This one knocked the ball out of the ball park for sure. A very real looking copy of the real steel in every way, and the finish on the gun is really outstanding. However like the real steel it does fingerprint quite easily. Something I can definitely overlook to own such a nice gun. I'm a replica collector and this gun just became one of my top 10 for authenticity. The gun is a little heavy but so is the real steel. It does take a little getting use to though. The trigger is a bit stiff but no more than most revolvers that I own. I only wish they would have made it a pellet gun instead of a BB gun. With the long barrel it would have made a great target gun. Even so it still shoots well. Overall I love the gun. It's one of those, what's not to love.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have made the gun a pellet gun and made the trigger easier to pull. Real wood grips would have been nice too. Other than that the gun is perfect.

    What others should know:

The gun takes a break in period where everything is stiff for awhile. When I first got mine I had a really hard time getting my cylinder to open and the trigger was very stiff. However with some use it finally got easier to use. It is a great gun and one that I'm glad that I now own.

    Things I liked:

Ordered it on 11 Jun, received it on 12 Nov. Things I like, the trigger pull in general but especially in double-action. Accuracy is great for a BB handgun. I get the best groups with Avanti precision ground BBs. Group size at 15ft off-hand is consistently one inch in single action. Accuracy you might expect from a pellet revolver. Very nice to have adjustable sights on a replica handgun. With the sights adjusted for windage and MAX height, it still shoots about 1 inch low. Holds air for 48 hours, I don't let it go beyond that for a test. The finish is very nice except for the cylinder which is rather dull compared to the rest of the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The finish on the cylinder to match the rest of the gun. For the money, it could have come with a set of extra cartridges.

    What others should know:

I believe you will like it if you buy it. I have always liked the model 29 and I'm very happy with my purchase.

    Things I liked:

She's a hand cannon alright. Very nicely finished. The left hand grip was just slightly loose so I put a couple straps of electrical tape in key places. Now it feels solid. I shoot pellets through it. The colt saa or peacemaker pellet cartridges fit perfectly. Accuracy at 10 yards is good. It comes in a nice box and it's made in Taiwan. Umarex hit it out of the park with this one.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a rifled barrel version with a 6 inch barrel. Maybe rubber grips like the Dan Wesson 715.

    What others should know:

Very impressive pistol. It's what you would expect Dirty Harry to carry. Gets 70 shots to a co2 cartridge on a cool day firing continuously. I like the adjustable rear sight.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful finish. Nice brass cartridges. Great feel. Plastic grips mimic the wood grips very well.

    Things I would have changed:

It may be just mu pistol, but the crane on this pistol is downright sloppy! When I pull the trigger, the cylinder moves all over the place before it settles down ln the forcing cone. I haven't shot it yet, but I might send it back just for the sloppy fit.

    What others should know:

    Not right now.

    Things I liked:

Just an absolutely beautiful gun. As I've never handled the real version I can't compare the weight. But this gun has some serious heft, clearly. Trigger and hammer work nicely and are good and snappy. This gun is just so much fun to hold and admire. I've shot about 50 rounds through it and it has the usual backyard plinker accuracy. Maybe a bit better because of the longer barrel. The CO2 installs nicely and without any leaks. Not even a slight hiss when piercing.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic grips are a bit thin and are concerned they may crack over time. I would have liked the grip to have been of better quality. I'm not a fan of the high gloss bluing...high gloss anything for that matter. I believe this piece would have been better served with either a matt or weathered finish.

    What others should know:

Gun is absolutely beautiful and is going to be an instant hit for sure. The only issue I have is that it's tough to hold comfortably because of its sheer size. But that's the gun! Trust me, you will not ever regret this purchase.

    Things I liked:

Fantastic replica. This is a very large heavy revolver and very close to the real S&W Model 29. The sights and trigger are excellent. It reminds me of firing the real one but without the recoil. The bluing is very well done high gloss blue. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. It is packaged in a nice sturdy cardboard box. The revolver has 6 cartridges suitable for BB's but I found that Colt SAA pellet cartridges will fit and function well with pellets, although the bore is smooth. Surprisingly, the inner barrel is only 6 inches long surrounded by the 8-3/8 inch outer shroud. I have fired it with steel, lead and frangible BB's, lead pellets and non-lead pellets. The heavier lead pellets and BB's naturally shoot low. For pellets, the 5.5 grain non-lead pellets seem to work fine.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a pellet firing version with rifled barrel.

    What others should know:

Buy one...it feels like the real thing.

    Things I liked:

Excellent version of an actual firearm, in the same class as the excellent DanWesson 715. Best bluing yet on a replica airgun. Has the look and heft of an actual revolver. Action was smooth and light in both da and sa, and in that respect was superior to the 6 inch barrel Dan Wesson. Presented in nice box as well

    Things I would have changed:

I would have preferred the 6 1/2 barrel length and a rifled pellet barrel. Would include an extra six shells for those who don't have Peacemakers

    What others should know:

With the elevation set to highest setting hits low by 1 1/2 inches with six o clock hold. Need to use slightly high center hold
