After a few years of not hunting, my nephew talked me into getting out there again. He shoots a compound bow but due to some past injuries I just cant pull and hold the draw that long. He told me how good Tenpoint crossbows were, and boy was he right. My new Nitro 505 is hitting bullseyes right out of the box. I love the easy crank to cock and de-cock this thing. It is silent and you can let go of the crank handle and it does move an inch. This is a well built piece of equipment. Thank you Tenpoint for building such a quality product!

This crossbow is so accurate and fun to shoot and hunt with. I have complete confidence in its ability to make perfect shots every time. The scope has excellent clarity and is great in low light conditions with the lighted reticle. Best crossbow ever!

Hard hitting and well balanced. The EVO X scope itself could use a little bit of improvement. A bit blurry around the putter half of the sight picture. However I am still able to get 4” groups at 60 yards. Overall satisfied.

My first crossbow and man am I happy with it. It's freakin fast and dead accurate. I went with the adjustable scope that's made for it and it's a great fit. I always enjoyed bow hunting but I messed up my rotater cuff so can't pull back a bow any more. Haven't bow hunted for 10 years but this year thought I'd try the crossbow and shot a nice buck and doe with it. Perfect shots to. I'd rather hunt with this then a gun. Can't wait till next season. Love everything about the 505 nitro.

I am extremely pleased with a crossbow for how it shoots the way it handles and the accuracy. I picked it up last October and I have hunted with it but yet to kill a deer because I have been selecting a particular deer to shoot. So whenever this next season comes, I should be able to get that dear, and I promise I will send pictures all in all. I am very very pleased with the product in the service. Thanks.

It is the best crossbow made. It has all of the features any Hunter could want. And it is Made in America.

This crossbow is everything it is advertised as. Amazing speed and spot on accuracy. I purchased the nitro 505 because of the crank cocking mechanism due to physical deficiencies, I no longer possess the physical strength to pull a compound bow or even other crossbows with other cocking mechanisms. This crossbow has allowed me to continue to hunt whitetails. I'd be hard pressed to find any ways to improve this product.

The Nitro 505 is revolutionary and helped me to have my best deer season ever. I use heavy arrows to trade some speed for penetration and even a shoulder abd another marginal shot in bone was no problem for this crossbow due to the high kinetic energy. The acurracy is phenomenal, practice at 40 yds and its accurate to 70 yds which is max range in my backyard. A crossbow this fast is very flat shooting within deer ranges of 40 yds and in which makes a big difference. EVO-X Marksman scope is excellent, harvested a nice buck in low light thanks to the adjustable lighted reticles with and clear glass. The ability to decock SAFELY saves a lot of wear and tear and no more carrying discharge targets. Its a little heavier than some crossbows but its built solid to last a lifetime snd does not have problems with durability like their competitors. I put hundreds if shots through mine with no issues. What a great company, and its made in the USA. You will not be dissapointed.

Very easy to sight in, cock, decock, and all around great crossbow. This is my 2nd 10 point crossbow. I didn't think I would ever switch out my Turbo XLT crossbow but really wanted the decock feature. No regrets at all.

This is my third Tenpoint crossbow and they just keep getting better over the years. This bow is super fast and accurate. I wasn’t sure if I would like the reverse curve but after having it for a bit - it is a great bow. My other crossbow that I still have is a Viper S400. I wasn’t sure how much of an upgrade the Nitro would be - but it is a lot. The power of this bow is very noticeable. I had a Block Crossbow target and the Nitro just buried the arrow in it. I had to purchase an upgraded target as I ruined the first arrow I shot into my other target. I picked up a Titan 10XL HD. Now it works out perfectly. All I can say is I can’t wait till this fall to see how it does on Whitetail. Thanks Tenpoint. Very happy.

Opened the box, set things up and it would not cock. The gears slip in the crank.

Amazing Bow, solid and reliable. This bow has exceeded my expectations and the scope struts are solid!

This crossbow is a masterpiece of engineering! It is super accurate and reliable. My 505 is generating 521 fps with a 400 grain arrow. With a 470 grain hunting arrow, I’m still at 500 fps. It is a wonderful bow! There are however, consequences to this much speed and power. It will blow through even the strongest of archery targets with successive shots to the same bullseye. More than one shot is a risk and more than two is going through! The strongest targets and broadheads are an absolute necessity. The technology of this bow is a bit ahead of its time. Perhaps shooting this from a tree stand or otherwise elevated position would be desirable for recovering your arrows. This crossbow is a monster! There are no real comparisons to other crossbows. The closest competitor is not even close! With the right arrow, this crossbow will produce more power at 70 yards than any other crossbow at point blank range. Fact! The truth is that this crossbow is a want and not a need. It’s overpowered even for elephants.

Would highly recommend tenpoint it’s a high quality top of the line crossbow Don’t aim at the same spot twice b/c u will Robin Hood a bolt and spend the money on a good target b/c it packs a punch very happy lifelong customer

I'm glad to tell anyone about the Nitro 505. At first it's a little intimidating but that leaves after you send it down range. Thrilling afterwards. I have a few weeks to wait before I get a chance for an animal

Shot 4 bolts after purchase… string Broke looking at minimum of 2 weeks to get parts. Kinda disappointed when you spend big dollars for something you can’t even get sighted in before you have to bring it back to the store🤔🤔

have been buying Tenpoint crossbows for over a decade and up until now they have all been great. While this bow shoots incredibly fast it is very inaccurate with broadheads. I tried the tenpoint factory broadheads as well as several other brands to no avail.

If you looking for the new apex in high end crossbows this is the model to own. Tenpoint has morphed this model along over the years and eliminated some of the things consumers did not like and added more if what they ask for. The bow hits the real advertised speeds and a bit more regardless of the chronograph used and no lite weight arrows spec to push the speeds up......gee wiz what a concept for others to follow. The Nitro 505 shoulders amazing because it has the correct l.O.P. designed in to the stock and trigger distance. The ability to decock after the hunt is a real bonus too. With correct arrows this bow is as accurate as there is. Be sure of one thing and that is this bow is in a class all of its own when comparing to other offering from competitive manufactures.....I own a few Ravins too and like those as well but this bow shoots so nice and the shot feel is superb do the the beefier design and weight. For the first time in my life and literally thousands of dollar spent on bows, I finally own a bow that I would not change anything on. Tenpoint has truly earned their spot here as the top performer in the industry wit this model.

Everything I had hoped for, I did my research beforehand and the nitro 505 stood out.
