Waited 2 months for bow to come in and when it did, it came in with cracks in the stock. Had to send it back before I ever shot it.

I have bow hunted for more than 35 yrs and after a shoulder injury prevented me from ever using my compound bow again I decided to buy a crossbow. I did my research and found this crossbow to be the best and that was proven right out of the box. I needed to make one sight adjustment and that was it! It is super fast and accurate at all distances. The hardest part was finding a crossbow target that could handle the enegy of the bolts.

Really good product fastest I've ever seen besides the speed not much different then the 470 but the speed is crazy love it do not regret buying this tenpoint 505 just one small problem out of the 6 arrows that they sent me only 3 had tips 3 where missing not sure if that's normal or not but no big deal other then that completely satisfied

The 227 ft pounds of kenetic energy will stop your target right in its tracks. I was absolutely amazed at the accuracy it has at 100yrds. I cant wait for next hunting season.

Sighted in at 20 yards in 3 shots. Moved to 50 and made a scope adjustment. Shot a 3 inch group at 100 on my 8,9 and 10th shot. Amazing.

The speed and stealth of the Nitro 505 are hard to comprehend. I was able to use the Ntiro 505 on a late-season archery buck and shot a nice buck while it was staring in my direction. The only challenge was finding my arrow after the shot, which passed through the deer and was 25 yards past it in the field. The speed is a true value and can easily be converted to more kinetic energy and penetration by shooting a heavier arrow or broadhead and still outperforming previous crossbows.

I thoroughly tested the 505, somewhat skeptically--not that it wouldn't be fast--but with all that speed and power, would it be accurate? I shot 2 inch groups at 60 yards with Sevr broadheads! And yea it's fast; the Chrono read 508fps! Perhaps most surprisingly, it wasn't nearly as loud as I anticipated. It is expensive? Yes. Is it deadly to previously silly distances? Yes indeed. And the cocking is so simple, fast, silent and safe. TenPoint has definitely raised the bar with the 505.

The build quality of this crossbow is is amazing. I feel confident bringing this into the field knowing when I need to make a shot that it will do exactly that. I never saw speeds under 511 FPS for my Nitro 505. My 8 year old daughter is able to crank this crossbow, which blows my mind because of how powerful it is. Accuracy is also very good even just out of the box.

This nitro 505 will not disappoint you. Out of the box I only shot 6 arrows to be on at 20yrds and haven't made any adjustments since. I shot it at 40yrds and it was dead nuts. It was a week or so later until I had the opportunity to stretch her out and at 80yrds free hand was in the kill zone. I figured what the heck let's try 100yrds. Sitting on my tailgate freehand 100yrd kill shot. Wouldn't hesitate for a second if the chance presented itself.

A wonderfully smooth handling and well balanced crossbow that fires arrows like Thor’s Hammer! All the most advanced technology and performance is represented in this fine specimen.

Just picked up my new crossbow today can’t wait to get it out to do some shooting with it. I upgraded from my Tenpoint titan extreme after 8 or 9 years of trusted consistency. I decide to go with the Nitro 505. Why you may ask? After being confident with my Titan extreme for the last 8+ years I figured to go to the top of the line crossbow from the best manufacturer in the business. As of right now I am more than pleased with everything about it. If you are on the fence on getting a crossbow it would be in your best interest to buy a Tenpoint

I got my Nitro 505 a few days ago and was itching to shoot it but don't have a new target yet. Needless to say I went for it anyway and used my old bag. At 20yds the bolt came out like a rocket going straight through my bag tearing my veins off. My old bow would only go half way in the bag! It shot a great group at 30. I was getting 488-491fps with center punch bolts! My Nitro is my 3rd Tenpoint, I bought my first in 2005. They all have been great, always getting the job done.

AWESOME! Couldn’t wait to get this bad boy out of the box! Super light and LIGHTNING FAST! Crazy accurate & easy to use. Superior cocking/decocking mechanism, especially compared to a competitor’s 500 FPS bow that started to deteriorate after 15 shots with string fraying and broken nocks. No issues at all with the Nitro! Great engineering- super well-balanced, love the placement of the hand grips so you can ensure a steady shot The crank is easy to use and only requires 5lbs to cock. The lighted redicles are an added bonus when shooting in low light conditions. The scope’s yardage markers are very clearly defined and easy to use. Bow was super accurate out to 70 yards- wanted to go further but daylight was closing in. Added bonus is that it comes with 3 broad heads, a sling, and extra arrows. Super excited to get the Nitro out in the field - couldn’t be happier with it so far. Well worth the money for an American made product. Thank you for making an awesome crossbow.
