I like the looks of the rifle, the appearance is nice. The cocking is not hard. After a couple of dozen shots gets a little quieter. Rifle is fun to shoot . Accuracy with iron sites seems to be good. I haven't used a rest just free handed.Shooting at 24 yards. Not sure when I will put scope on.

Gun is a little heavy and I have not put the scope on yet. More for an adult male to use. Screws on each side of forearm so far have to be retightened after every third shot ??? After 10 shots the screws get very loose ??? Bought the blue Loctite cleaned the factory Loctite off threads and put new blue Loctite on screws waited 48 hrs.and after 5 shots the screws were loose again. I will check this out with Umarex.

Nice rifle I really like the rifle a lot, just worried about the forearm screws getting so loose so quick even after using the blue Loctite. Don't like the idea of having to keep my Philips head screw driver in my pocket to tighten the screws every 3rd or 4th shot. ???? I s this normal ??

Accuracy, not hold sensitive AT ALL, my 8 year old son can cock it, my 10 year old daughter can cock it, very nice quality stock wood and contour and more.. Trigger Is way to heavy, breaking at 6.1 to 6.3lbs on my Lyman trigger scale BUT they trigger does break cleanly and with very little creep, if the trigger was 2.5 to 3lbs and broke how it breaks then it would be one of the better budget break barrels on the market.. however maybe I'm just spoiled to match grade PCP triggers and Custom Powder Burner triggers.. Very quick shot cycle, it's really snappy and sharp as most Gas Ram guns are.. not a lot of noticeable forward impulse in the shot cycle..

Lighten the trigger, 3lbs would be a workable/usable trigger. The trigger is WAY TO HEAVY running 6.1 to 6.3 pounds with a avg of 6lbs 2.4oz over ten pulls.. I will say that even tho the trigger is imho WAY to heavy (once again maybe I'm just spoiled by match grade bench rest quality triggers) it does release the shot with little creep after about 400 rounds the creep that was there to start was more or less gone and we was left with a clean fairly crisp trigger break.. the trigger is the only thing that holds this gun back from being the best spring/gas ram gun I've ever shot that was below 300 dollars.

This gun ate up JSB 10.34s, H&N FTT 4.53s and brown box Corsman 7.9 lites and shot the Crosman brown box 10.5s pretty well to except it would throw uncalled fliers about every 8 shots that would be about 1.2 inches of the main group. the kids wasn't a nice scope on the gun and since I switched to exclusively MTC Viper Pro's on all my PCP guns and sold all my Hawke scopes except for one mounted on a TX200 .22 and one on that I had mounted on a R9 that got a Optisan for review so the Sidewinder 6.5-20x42 went on the Forge, with a UTG drooper rail that I cut the foot off of, that put me 12 MOA off max bottom of adjustment range with a 25 yard zero so not much droop. The gun is pushing The JSB 10.34s at 13.7ftlbs, 10 shot groups at 25 yards are avg-ing .90 inches CTC and at 40 yards 10 shot groups on avg are 1.25 inches FTT are more accurate at 25 yards then the 10.34s avg-ing 10 shot groups at .8 inch but open up to right at 2 inches at 40 yards.. this a dang accurate rifle at 150 dollars

Dead on accuracy with in 40yds or so. Nice wood stock. Very quiet.

A better scope. The 4x32 is ok, but a better scope would really be nice.

This gun is absolute value. I'm no Tom Gaylord but this has my thumbs up. Umarex seems to really put out quality guns.
