I liked the weight of this BB gun. It is fun to shoot. My kids love to shoot it. I bought the gun for an investment, you probably won't be able to get this quality of a BB gun in the future. I can see this gun selling for $400 in the near future.

This gun shoots so fast, touch the trigger and it shoots several times. I am using this for snake control at my lake.

It is a beautiful gun up close and I guarantee you it will sell for much more in the future.

Absolutely fun to shoot. The blow back feature adds to the excitement when using the full auto mode. Shooting at 15 ft. gave me 1/4 to 1/2 inch clusters and a few spot on bulls eye results. The full auto gave me some wild results but most bbs landed pretty close together in a cluster. Absolutely destroys soda cans all lined up in a row. This gun makes you smile from ear to ear. So far I have not had any jam ups and have gone through 10 reloads.

Nothing really. Found it a little hard to get magazine lip open to place the co2. Loads bbs easily though.

Glad I bought it. Its authentic look adds to the curiosity of friends and family. Hard to explain but you are going to laugh like heck in full auto firing. Buy it you will love it. I have been using the regular steel bbs, nothing coated.

This gun is tons of fun. Super accurate. I have shot about 2000 rounds so far no issues. No jams or misfires. Full auto brings a big smile.

This is the first co2 bb gun that I have owned. Love the quality, the look and weight. Its like owning a piece of history.

Would probably include a sling.

I like the weight and feel of it. I like that it holds more than 25 bb's.The fit and finish is perfect on it.

Include a speed loader and an easier access to load bb's. I would have liked it to been a little more field strippable for cleaning and lubrication purposes.

The MP40 is definitely an awesome BB gun. Definitely going to want to add it to your collection.

This Umarex MP40 has a substantial feel, due to its mostly metal construction. The magazine system has a very sturdy metal plug which pierces the CO2 cartridges. It gives the impression that it will be very durable and not prone to leaking. The ability to fire semi automatic or automatic is a plus; It is nice to have a choice. So far I have fired about 300 Umarex brand BB's and have had no jams or misfeeds. I have followed the advice to not fill the magazine completely. That seems to be working. I am getting about 150 shots per 2 CO2 cartridges, which I think is very good. The folding stock has a sturdy feel to it and does not have excessive play in it. The overall appearance of the gun is impressive. It looks imposing and shows good finish quality.

Other reviewers have bemoaned the lack of a latch to hold the BB follower in a compressed position, to facilitate easier loading of BB's. I have not found it difficult to hold the follower down while compressing the spring. The follower spring is not particularly strong, so it is easy to hold the follower down with your thumbnail. Like other reviewers experience, my gun shoots to the left 3-4" at 25 feet. There is no way to mechanically adjust the sights. I am painting a narrow vertical white bar on the left side of the front sight. This will have the net effect of moving the aiming point to the right a little. I am hopeful this will correct most of the windage error.

To me, the Umarex MP40 is well worth the price. It is fun to shoot and chops up aluminum cans. With a little Kentucky windage it is accurate and easy to hit targets at 25-30 feet. So far, it has been reliable and functions perfectly. I apply airgun oil to the tip of each CO2 cartridge to lubricate the internals. Remember to always wear eye protection!

If the thing actually worked, I'd be overjoyed! Problem is, it DOESN"T. It looks good, feels good, but the double stack mag does not feed properly.

Make the mag single stack, so it would actually work. Having the follower lock open would be nice too, because it is kind of a pain to load. That's not nearly as important as making the simple change of narrowing the little slot to make it single stack, though.

If you want a thing that looks like an old german machine gun, buy it. If you want something that works, don't.

Magazine. Feed BB's better, less jams.

It is fun to shoot full auto, but I get frequent jams. On semi auto, it feeds/shoots better. Needs to come with a magazine loader! Takes too long to load magazine. BB's can be "double stacked" in magazine if you take the time, but it's random if you just pour BB's into loading port. I can get 53 BB's into magazine if I load by hand, making sure they are double stacked.

Very realistic. It's a blast to shoot full auto.

I wish the Co2 cartridges lasted longer than 2-3 mags- full on full auto.

Arsenal sent FFL, I then paid balance, & it was delivered on 10/20/2020.

Find out thru NJSP if an automatic bb MP-40 is legal in New Jersey! Arsonel called them several times, & I called them too. No reply as of yet.

Seems like nobody knows & they cannot release it to me until they find out. I guess if you live in the tristate area just don't even bother ordering one. Going on 3 weeks & still nobody knows.

Overall Quality of build , I really like the looks of the Ledgends Mp 40 . Loading the mags used to be a pain there are ways around it though . If you take good care of the Ledgends Mp 40 . Wiping it down keep it clean and pellgun oil and Co2 lubrication cartridges . I love the Ledgends Mp 40 so much fun and pyramid air will treat you right .

The trigger pull is in my opinion to heavy . I have multiple sclorosis but it's a great shooting experience ! It's not light but it's not a problem lol my HW 97 K blue laminate is heavy , the Ledgends Mp 40 is heavy for. A good reason it's a blast to shoot !

Overall rating is only a 4 because of LOADING THE MAGAZINE ! I had to invent a gadget to hold the magazine spring down because you need 2 hands to put the bbs in! I spend more time loading the magazine than shooting!

Buy more magazines and air capsules so when you are at the range, you shoot more than you load!

Obviously the realism, the power and accuracy are well above average.

I bought the loser that is weathered and it came with a strap. I have the strap as long as it can be(make sure you keep your strap install instructions.) but it is still to constricting to allow me to shoot effectively. It would be nice if the action locked back after last shot or even if you could lock it back with a cut out to turn the bolt into to lock it back.

The magazine works great. I have had this gun since it came out and have not had a BB jam of any kind but that requires a perfect double stack every time. Pull the follower back, use the speed loader with the plunger in to the pistol grip shaped container (Umarex I believe) hold the mag at about a 45 degree angle and slowly start ejecting the bbs. For the first 5 or 6 in the single stack area hidden from view, stop when you fill this and get a good look to make sure this single stack area is properly alternated with no gaps. Fix it before you move on and then same procedure put a little more pressure on the plunger eject the bbs into the mag. Keep an eye on it, if you lose your perfect double stack at all grab a pin or something to adjust it back in line. If you leave the gaps that is when more than one bb will enter the breech and that will cause your jamming issues. If this is done properly you will fit 54, it will look cool and you will experience the full capability of this gun.
