    Things I liked:

Realistic feel and weight and sturdy construction.

    Things I would have changed:

O ring on the mag, using 2 12 grams and method of loading bbs.

    What others should know:

Ensure that both 12 grams are pierced, sensitive to the type of bbs used and, at times, on semi auto, the bolt bounces (almost as if too little pressure. O ring on mag gets scuffed very easy.

    Things I liked:

I liked everything about it the semi and full auto the weight of the gun is perfect and you cant go wrong with an mp40 replica

    Things I would have changed:

Not a thing maybe be able to field strip it

    What others should know:

I have seen reviews saying the magazine wont feed in full auto and i did buy a few extra mags with the gun so everything was running smooth and then i came across what the reviews described as the mag not feeding bbs at first i thought i had a faulty mag well i realized after a few minuets that the c02 was low and it was about time to change the c02 in the mag after i did that it fed all 52 bbs properly with no jams and this gun is very accurate with a decent amount of power that also gives it a little recoil in full auto, ive also took out a few mice around 15 feet with two fresh c02s in the mag in full auto and hit em with about 3 out of 6 shots and they went down where they stood even tho thats not what its for it has been deadly on mice

    Things I liked:

All metal, blowback. Very solid in the hand, no wobble or play to it. Seen some complaints about the mag jamming, but as long as you only load about 45 BBS it will not jam. Mine did about once in the 500 rounds Ive put through it so far, and only because I overfilled it. Excellent gun, but accuracy could be better, but for a auto B.B. gun its pretty accurate still.

    Things I would have changed:

Change the plastic pieces to metal. Only a few plastic pieces on it but should have been made with metal instead definitely. Only thing that ruins the look for me.

    What others should know:

Mag has no spring catch, so you must hold the spring down the entire time while loading 50 bbs. Can be a bit annoying but after a few mags it gets easier. Excellent and very fun gun. Hope it holds up. Only had it one day and shot 500+ rounds through it already. Super easy to burn through ammo on auto so I hardly use it

    Things I liked:

Another excellent Legends offering. Feels like Christmas when you open the box. Fantastic build, a joy to hold and a blast to shoot. It's been said many times already but, make sure you stock up on CO2 and Steel BB's.

    Things I would have changed:

The forward sling fitting for many including the one pictured was assembled to attach on the incorrect bolt handle side. If you install a sling it can interfere with bolt. This can be remedied with some disassembly requiring removing a screw and driving out a pin to remove the barrel shroud and turning the fitting. If you are not using a sling the only issue in this position is that it does not match the actual MP 40.

This thing is a lot of fun. See youtube videos!

    Things I would have changed:

An optional magazine that could use a paint gun CO2 tank.

    What others should know:

    Nice detail on product.

    Things I would have changed:

No comment because I never fired it.. I have no intention firing it because I'M WW ll buff a part of my collection with my German Helmet. I also bought a German Luger from your company never been used. I want to keep them mint.

    Things I liked:

I like the feel of the piece, it is pretty much identical to the real thing, and heavy! A shoulder strap would be a nice addition. The magazine clips in very well, and overall it's a wonderfully machined air gun. It works well as a plinker, and of course full auto is a hoot to shoot! It will empty a full 45-50 round magazine in about 5 - 10 seconds, so the purchase of at least a second magazine is recommended. I use Daisy zinc BB's and have had no feeding problems at all.

    Things I would have changed:

From a historical perspective, I would reposition the front strap-holder to the right side, but you can easily do this by unscrewing the big nut on the front of the gun and knocking out (and replacing, of course) a locating pin on the front of the gun. There's a video in German on the Internet showing disassembly of the gun, but it's easy to follow.

    What others should know:

Reloading the magazine is more easily accomplished using a straw filled with BB's to reload; as they fall into the magazine, if you shake the mag gently from side to side its easy to achieve the recommended staggered loading profile of the BB's. Holding back the mag receiver with a thumbnail is easy too, once you get used to it; also be sure you hear a second 'hiss' when charging the gun w/ CO2 - I get about 3 to 4 magazines before I need to change CO2 cartridges. It's pretty accurate out to about 15 yards, but you do get some muzzle-drop after that, but not too bad - nothing some compensating won't fix. Overall, an awesome gun, well worth the price! Now if they would only make a steel BB version of the M3A1 - or a MAT-49, perhaps?? Sten gun?? STG44???

    Things I liked:

The weight and feel of this item offers up a lot of realism. The cool factor is off the charts. You will have a difficult time keeping your hands off this gun. I am for the most part a pellet guy but this is a worthy exception. Firing this gun on full auto is addictive so order lots of CO2 and BBs.

    Things I would have changed:

There must have been a better way to facilitate loading this thing. Do not order one without adding some sort of speed loader to the list.

    What others should know:

This item is not really all that back yard friendly. Just the sound of the bolt banging at such a high cyclic rate screams that you are firing full auto and anyone not well informed regarding full auto BB guns or even the existence of same (I wasn't until recently) is likely to freak out. You know your neighborhood and can judge for yourself. If you think you can fly under the radar with this one and no one will take notice I highly doubt it.

    Things I liked:

I have had B.B. guns since grade school, but I never thought they could be THIS much fun! It goes through a lot of bbs and co2, but I dont care.

    Things I would have changed:

A little hard to load, but you can come up with a solution. I did, using a clamp to hold the magazine open.

    What others should know:

You have to use steel bbs.

Great looking gun. Really fun to shoot with.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic grip. Also I don't know if it is just mine but it took a while before I was able to shoot with it. At first it was only shooting air. I don't know why. I checked the barrel, everything look fine. And all of a sudden it started shooting and I have no problem since.

    Things I liked:

At the price point that this gun is selling I was very pleased to see so much metal in the parts. Looks cool! Fairly accurate on semi mode but the kick is shooting fully automatic. I'm fifty eight years old with three grown kids, two men and my awesome daughter. My youngest son seemed to warm up to it the most which truly warmed my heart. He just turned 29 and I brought it out to enjoy as we were celebrating his birthday. When he was going through his teen years he showed very little affection toward me as compared to his brother and sister. Now things have turned around and I'm cool dad now.

    Things I would have changed:

Include a sling. This gun has places to attach a sling. The magazine is a pain to load but it is what is.

    What others should know:

Don't forget to wrack the gun every time before you shoot. My first time shooting I pressed the trigger and nothing happened but it gave the kids something to laugh at. I'd rather my children laughing than crying. I wracked it and shot it on full auto and the laughter was on going. Buy one of these and don't shoot your eye out! Lol

    Things I liked:

I like everything about this gun so much that I bought 2, the weathered one with the sling and the non weathered one. This gun has blowback but it does not jar the gun back and forth like some blowbacks. I can accurately shoot a perfect square with this gun on full auto. It looks and feels like a real gun which is one of the main things I love about it. It is accurate but only if you put the front sight ring around the target with where you want to hit right in the middle of the ring and not on top of the sight blade. I was shooting at targets from about 15 feet away so I am not sure if this sighting method would work at further distances, you may have to sight properly at further distances to achieve centre hits. It is a gas hog so have extra magazines so that they can warm up before reloading to get the maximum shot count out of your canisters. It is rated at 450fps but I did chrony velocities of up to 465 with about 435 being the average when shooting without letting the gun rest.

    Things I would have changed:

I really can't think of much I would change except make the sling available for the non weathered gun as well and also the magazine spring follower would have been nice if it had a locking mechanism to make loading a bit easier.

    What others should know:

This gun does not like Copperhead BB's, it will jam frequently and you will waste precious Co2. It works fantastic with Umarex BB's and Daisy BB's as well. It is very important that you load the BB's in the magazine in a staggered fashion to avoid jams. It is a heavy gun so and can get tiring holding it for long periods but it is hardly a drawback. This gun is as fun as it looks and you will have nothing but a smile and many holes in whatever you are aiming at!

Close reproduction. Excellent build quality ! Has definitely weight to the gun. The co 2 cartridge in the clip is a great design idea. Accurate shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

The bb load spring really should have been designed to have a way to stay open while loading bb"s. Plastic parts would have been nicer different color.

    Things I liked:

This is a very faithful recreation of an iconic gun. At a glance, most won't be able to tell the difference. It is very well built and so robust that it would surely take a lot of hard use.

    Things I would have changed:

Here is the Achilles heel of this weapon. The magazine design is somewhat poorly thought out. All of the gas portions are well built, but the BB loading and delivery clearly were not. My example was very fiddly to load BB's because the follower spring needed to be held back to load them. There should be a notch to lock this very fragile looking piece back during loading. as advertised, all BB's need to be loaded in a perfect criss-cross manner for best feeding. I followed this to the letter, and it still wouldn't feed reliably. If they ever re-design this part of the magazine, I'll be the first in line.

    What others should know:

Umarex makes some great airguns, but this isn't one of them. With a better built magazine system, it would be.
