    Things I liked:

Excellent shooter. Great handling. Seems to be very tolerant of different pellets. Seems to be user modifiable as well.

    Things I would have changed:

A better magazine. Mine jammed and broke the first day shooting. I took off a star in the rating because of the magazine. A little bigger tank option would be great, maybe as an aftermarket option? Also wish it had a fixed foster connection instead of fill probe.

    What others should know:

Speed range: 885fps with lead free H&N 9.7grain , down to just over 700fps with 18 grain pellets. I've not seen anyone mention using them, but my Notos really likes the predator polymag shorts. Do yourself a favor and get some 10 shot carm or maple leaf magazines. Also get the front grip from Buck Rail. It's worth it for the feel and the m-loc slots. I also think I will be adding the 3rd party plenum.

    Things I liked:

This is my 3rd Umarex rifle, and quickly becoming my favorite. Though it doesn't pack the same punch as my gauntlet or origin; it is perfect for small game (dove, rabbit, etc.). I paired it with a Vortex 2-7x32 scope which works quite well with it. This little carbine has exceeded my expectations. It is very accurate for the barrel length. I don't believe anyone would be disappointed with this gem.

    Things I would have changed:

I am not a big fan of the magazine. I had problems with the one that was shipped with it. But as usual, when I reached out to Umarex about issue, they replaced it right away, and sent another for my trouble.

    What others should know:

Whether you are new to pcp's or have a vast collection, this is one to add.

    Things I liked:

Accurate out of the box (after cleaning the dirty barrel), lightweight, great performance Seems well made. No leaks when it arrived or after. Comfortable to shoot. Adjustable buttstock. Regulated to 1900 PSI and air tube to 3650 psi.Adjustable trigger. Out of the box it's 4 1/2 pounds. I wll lighten it considerably. Quiet, not need to buy another moderator.

    Things I would have changed:

A small bottle option. Pic rail on bottom/lower side. Comes with 1 mag, should some with 2. Need a higher capacity which I found on eBay.

    What others should know:

Very accurate at 50 yards with Baracuda Match, perfect for backyard plinking and varmints up to Raccoons. Light weight and easy to maneuver. No n eed to add another moderator as the permanently mounted that it comes with is very good. Very backyard friendly. REGULATED PCP to 1900psi ! 21 regulated shots per fill. Clean barrel b4 using. My barrel was very dirty probably has some preservative in it. Accurate out of the box. Has adjustable hammer, I made no adjustments. Initial trigger pull force is 4.5 pounds more or less. I will lessen that. I ordered www.Buck-Rail.com fore-grip, hand grip and foldable buttstock with cheek riser. I ordered higher capacity (and better) magazines on eBay. For a scope, I bought UTG 3-12X44 30mm Compact Scope, AO, 36-color Mil-dot, Rings , Black. I also have a SIg Sauer Romeo 5 red dot but I can shoot more accurately with the scope.

    Things I liked:

Size, weight, accuracy. 27shots @ 20fpe w/JSB&HN 15.9gr selections, 38 pumps with a $60 Amazon hand pump to fill from regulated 1900psi to 3600psi. Trigger is decent, once adjusted.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock magazine like aftermarket options (CARM and Maple). Obvious improvements I could offer, but it'd just cost more. I think it's pretty well optimized for the price. People say it's quiet, mine feels pretty loud, I shoot mostly tuned break barrels otherwise and this feels mostly equivalent, maybe mine is an anomaly.

    What others should know:

Reiterate, the stock magazines are frustrating and finicky, while they work they need some finesse and a little patience. I have used CARM magazines with mine and they are excellent, two 12rnders is perfect for an easy 24rnd per pump up. I understand from FB groups that the Maple mags are equivalent to CARM function. Targets and chipmunk management (erosion). Several tomato stealing squirrels.

    Things I liked:

I like the accuracy, looks, and weight of the Notos. I liked it so much that I purchased two.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a regulator plenum on the Notos. I don't like not being able to change the moderator of the barrel.

    What others should know:

The cocking liver and spring have that gritty feel to it but can be smoothed out with a light coating of moly lube on it sold by Pyramyd Air. Keep the lever lubed lightly, I use a synthetic lube. One drop is all you need. Crosman Premier 14.3, 15.89, and 16 grains, and 18 to 21.14 works well.

    Things I liked:

This is an accurate, light weight carbine. Out of the box, after cleaning the barrel, it is very accurate. The scope rail is long and allows for forward mounting of an optic if you want to keep the stock short. It is easy to fill with the probe that is included with the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

It would benefit with a larger air supply. I am only getting 25 -28 full power shots. The seven shot magazine limits you but it is easy to load.

    What others should know:

If you are not going to be near a compressor you will need a fill source. The barrel was dirty on arrival but fairly easy to use a crown saver cord ( get a straw to help with the insertion). After zeroing, I was getting 1' to 1 1/2' groups at 50 yards with JTS 18.3 and 22.07 pellets.

    Things I liked:

the overall fit and function of the rifle itself is pretty good.

    Things I would have changed:

the magazine is horrible. Jams all the time. shoot, cock rifle, use cleaning rod to push pellet back a little bit into the magazine, remove magazine, remove dented pellet, install magazine. shoot, cock, another jam. Had similar problems with Umarex Guantlet magazines, only this one is way worse. Pellets are not indexing properly into the correct position.

    What others should know:

if you want a small, lightweight SINGLE SHOT, then it's a decent rifle. if you want a repeater, then be prepared to purchase a bunch of magazines to find a good one. or take it apart and fiddle with it till you can get it to work. or throw it away and use single shot sled.

    Things I liked:

Best value for your buck for a accurate close range pesting or plinking gun. I'm getting 1 hole groups at 20 yards using even inexpensive crossman premier pellets, plus it's extremely quite. Definitely backyard friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine can be a little finicky getting it inserted into the breach and definitely wish it held a few more rounds and came with a 2nd magazine.

    What others should know:

Well worth the money to get into the pcp gun game and if your on a budget this one is easy to fill with a hand pump.

    Things I liked:

Incredible package for the price! Lightweight, regulated, shoulders well, accurate, and shoots cheap Crosman ammo very well.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine count could be a little higher. Would be a great option in .177 as well.

    What others should know:

If interested in the Notos, I highly suggest you don’t hesitate to purchase one. I personally have two of these, one scoped, and one with AR type iron sights. I personally feel that the Notos Carbine should be Airgun of the year for 2023!

    Things I liked:

Everything! Feel, balance is excellent. Accuracy is superb. No problem shooting 1/4" groups at 27 yards. JSB Hades is the pellet. Consistent 743fps. The build quality is excellent. Very quiet to shoot with the factory moderator.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer a folding stock. But not a deal breaker as is.

    What others should know:

I also own the .177 cal brand "H" of this style rifle/pistol setup. I regret purchasing the brand "H" product. It is no where near as accurate or powerful. Also after 350 shots it stopped working. The Notos is a way better product. Airgunners don't waste your time with the brand "H" don't hesitate to buy the Notos!!! Joseph K. Akron, Oh

I like the size, it fits right in for what I wanted. A small rifle I could put on my back seat and have for those opportunities that pop up on stop That doesn’t require a lot of power, but can be effective with the right shot placement Overall this rifle a good gun especially when you look at the price

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing I would change about the current 22 cal Would love if it came in 25 cal

    What others should know:

Tons of fun as a plinker, excellent as a small game rifle

    Things I liked:

Ordered my Notos on 6-12-23 and it arrived on the 14th with free shipping, beat that. I had all the issues others had and fixed them all next day with about 90 minutes of work. Rough loading, difficult cocking and poor accuracy. Even when loading with the single shot tray the back of the pellet rose up, damaging the pellet on the way in. I beveled the breech slightly with a cone shaped stone and polished it and area before o-ring with Autosol on a 22 cal bore mop in my drill. Checked hammer for burrs with 2000 grit sandpaper and gave it a quick polish with Autosol. With it removed the bolt action was buttery smooth, nothing needed there. Rough cocking caused by 2 sharp edges top and bottom of receiver fat part of hammer rides on. Wrapped 1200 then 2000 grit paper on eraser end of pencil (all I had handy to hit only those edges) lubed hammer, I normally don’t, and reassembled. Rounded sharp point of 1.5mm trigger screw, polished and greased it and sear. All problems are gone.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice not to have to do my mods but it is a budget gun and feels totally different from stock now. 1300 shots through it so far, great light trigger, smooth cocking and pellet loading with accuracy. I put a 30mm 3x12x44 scope on it. Videos of people shooting farther than 30 yards are out there. I’m looking for humane close range shots with the Ft lbs to do the job, I use a different gun for long ranges. Put in the time and reap the rewards in this light cool little carbine. People have been doing mods to Gauntlets and Avengers for years with great success too. People want all the bells and whistles of a $1000 and up gun in a $265 package. It’s like my wife’s honey do list, I just tune that out. Be sure to get the Carm mags, you’ll love them.

    What others should know:

CPHP 14.3, 24 shots, Hi 779, Low 765, Avg 774, spread 14, STD 3, shot #24 was 19.2 Ft Lbs. Hades 15.89, 24 shots, Hi 761, Low 740, Avg 756, spread 21, STD 4, shot #24 was 20.4 Ft Lbs Hammer spring 1.5 turns in from flush. Simply unscrew stock to adjust it, no need to remove 4 screws on grips, takes seconds to do. Stock regulator setting, I watched a video on adjusting it after removing it from the air cylinder. I see no need to do so. A few simple items and a little time spent make a huge difference. I use this to pest 30 yards and in, 14.7 Ft Lbs @ 30 yds with Hades according to Strelok Pro. I also lightly polished my barrel with a .17 bore mop and .17 Dewey rod and Autosol, moderator attached. Not ideal but gun is quiet and I didn’t want to remove it. The gun isn’t choked so no worry about going out end of barrel. This wasn’t done in the above listed 90 minutes. Ordered 2 Carm 12 shot mags, 2 weeks to get to Michigan. No cover to spin, load pellet, turn, repeat, love them.

    What others should know:

Overall great gun. Im running high rings on it with a UTC scope. I really have to get my eye down low. Might look into a rail riser, paired with a low/medium ring should raise it up some. Besides the “gritty” feeling charging handle thats my only complaint.

    Things I liked:

The gun is lightweight, accurate and my wife loves it.

    Things I would have changed:

As far as the gun goes, nothing.

    What others should know:

I ordered the Umarex Notos and clicked the "PCP Hookup" tab. I chose the Air Venturi G9 and the site stated I was "All Hooked Up". This tells me the pump will fit the gun and work properly. When I received the shipment, the pump worked with the test plug, but the fill probe did not fit the pump properly. I managed to fill the gun twice with a lot of fiddling and fussing to get the air into the gun. After that it would not work. I sent a message to Pyramid Air about this and they said I had to contact Umarex. This is not acceptable. I purchased all these items from Pyramid Air, and I expect them to honor any problems. They stated that these items would work together. I will never order from Pyramid Air again.

    Things I liked:

I like everything about the gun but the trigger. I love the left side cocking lever, and I am a “rightie”. This is the handiest Airgun I own. Short, light, fast handling and more accurate than I would have believed.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger, as is, is decent. The pull weight is very high, but it is a crisp break and does not interfere with accuracy. The trigger adjustment screw is useless. Surely some genius on YouTube will come up with a fix.

    What others should know:

I gave this gun 5 stars all the way around. It won’t replace my FX, but for the price, it is an outstanding Airgun. If I wear it out, I’ll buy another. I am 78, a lifelong shooter and an avid air gunner. I love my Notos

    Things I liked:

This carbine is a great value! Very accurate inside 50yds, maybe farther but that's as far as I've shot it because I only have a red dot on it. It shoots CPHP 14.3gr pellets great. And lead free ammo of the same weight hit the same spot, as did H&N Excite.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd make the hammer spring adjustable with the stock on and the trigger a little lighter from the factory. And a regulator you can adjust, but it was only $269....

    What others should know:

Get an extra magazine, one isn't enough!

    Things I liked:

Positive reviews online, and the price point drew me right away towards this purchase. The Notos is a great little rifle, perfect for backyard, plinking and target shooting. It would also make a good testing Rifle as well . The rifle itself weighs under six pounds and is highly accurate! If Umarex ups their game with a Notos .25 caliber, I will jump in line in a heartbeat!

    Things I would have changed:

Considering the price, I don’t have a lot of expectations, but, I would love to have the pistol grips and iron sites and a larger capacity magazine come standard with the rifle. That being said, all those things are available online..

    What others should know:

If you’re new to PCP rifles, then I highly suggest that Umarex Notos makes it onto your list of considerations! In my opinion, you won’t be disappointed!

    Things I liked:

This gun is a blast to shoot, super light, no recoil at all, easy to cock, nice trigger, easy to fill air cylinder, easy to read gauge and ACCURATE! Shooting 30 yards at small pill bottles and never miss, with a Red dot!! Umarex hit this one out of the park!!

    Things I would have changed:

The stock should have some drop or put it on an angle down, it’s hard to get down on scope or Red dot unless you raise it at least an inch.

    What others should know:

Buy it, you won’t be disappointed!!
