Wow! What's not to like? It's cheap, it's pcp, it's accurate, it's quiet, it's light, it's fun...did I say accurate, yeah baby! There's just not a lot to dislike about the Notos.
Things I would have changed:Is it perfect? For <$300? Are you serious? Well of course not, but then no airgun is. First, the trigger on mine was attrocious. BUT, having gunsmithed for years, it wasn't that difficult to make it far more than serviceable. Actually, it now is quite nice. Secon, is the magazine, it's not the worst, but it could be in the running probably. But then again, Brocock mags aren't that great either. Luckily, there are many good aftermarket ones. And hey, they include a single shot tray with the gun, what a fantastic idea.
What others should know:I've read online, and mine is a perfect example, it is so accurate it's amazing... pellet on pellet at 35 yards all day long, almost effortlessly. You will definitely need the highest rings you can get as the drop at comb is almost zero, but that's no big deal.
For what you get, this is without a doubt the best band for your buck in airgunning. It will shoot with some very, very expensive rifles, and you can carry it all day no sweat.

Thus little thing is amazing. Compact and lightweight with enough power to do pest control. There is an aftermarket environment to do simple upgrades to more complicated ones. You will enjoy and love the NOTOS!
Things I would have changed:I will love to see the built in moderator change to a threaded adapter...
What others should know:A little heavy trigger

Accurate, powerful and quiet compared to all the other pellet guns I have used. For what it does, the price point is great for the performance.
Things I would have changed:What would make this gun better is a compartment inside the stock that would carry things like the tip used to pressurize the cannister and pellets. If you are traveling, you dont want to have to remember to bring the connecting tip separately and if you forget, you are out of luck. Plus if you are out on a hunt, you dont want to have the pellets separate. A small compartment that flips open on the stock would be ideal for both of these. Have had other rifles with this amenity and it really makes things easier and less likely to ruin a day if something is forgotten.
What others should know:If you are purchasing a hand pump to pressurize, make sure you get the right kind and be ready for a workout.

All I can say is, WOW! This may be one of, if not the best, values in the PCP market. This gun is extremely accurate especially for a gun with less than a 12 in barrel. Easy to set up and shoot and since I shoot left handed the cocking lever on the left side works fine for me. I use a small compressor and can fill the gun from empty to 3,400 psi in just a few minutes. All the press and reviews were highly favorable for this gun and the hype was right on. This is a really fun gun to shoot and I can’t wait on days I go to the range
Things I would have changed:Just as many have said the magazine is pretty worthless, I have only been able to load a single pellet from it. I have been using the single shot loader, which is fine with me, but would be nice to have a working magazine. I going to be a couple from Maple Custom Products.
What others should know:The air chamber is small, which might be an issue for those looking to hunt with it, but I take my small portable compressor to the range with me so I have plenty of air for shooting. This is a fun gun and a great value for the money. My only regret, not buying it earlier!

I love this gun. I'm glad I bought two Umarex Notos guns. PyramydAir did all necessary testing before they sent the guns to me. I seriously doubt that there is a better company extant.
Things I would have changed:I have been thinking of modifying both of my Notos guns. I've been watching Kid Pellet on YouTube. I can think of nothing more satisfying than this guy's work.
What others should know:I see a new gun in a more interesting model is coming out soon. It's called the Zelos. I can't wait.

I made a serious mistake buying a Jet 2 before this. It had only minor problems, but an unnecessary of minor problems that had me spending twice the time on maintenance than actually shooting it. I wound up giving that to a friend. My brother then loaned me his Notos for a few weeks. The Notos blew my mind. All the features of a $600+ PCP for $265. I fell in love. It's an easy gun to tune and modify, it's regulated, and it doesn't leak like my old Jet 2. It also packs a slightly bigger punch, and is WAY more accurate and way less pellet picky. I'd recommend this as the best starter gun on the market for those new to the PCP world.
Things I would have changed:Magazines are kinda finicky. So be careful with them. I've already ordered 3 Maple Leaf mags, so that's no longer an issue.
What others should know:Buy it before it becomes unobtanium again!

Extremely accurate, quiet, tactical, and lightweight.
Things I would have changed:Stock magazine in garbage. There are aftermarket options available. Wish the moderator was removable, but it's not. It is plenty quiet however.
What others should know:I've uploaded a video to yt showing my customized bottle build of this gun. This gun is a blast to shoot. I've taken squirrels out to 90yds with it, and I regularly shoot dime sized groups at 50 yards. My mods didn't improve accuracy, only increased shot count.

I bought this to be a lightweight gun to carry for squirrels while also carrying my bulldog or crossbow for deer hunting. It’s incredible! I love the accuracy and after adjusting the trigger it’s even better with hades and H&N 15’s. Quiet enough to not affect the deer and light enough to pack all day without regret.
Things I would have changed:Nothing really that wouldn’t impact the reason this carbine was made. A fatter air tube or bottle would add weight and a longer barrel would make it less maneuverable in the woods or in the stand. Maybe an extra mag or include the pistol grips but now I’m just being greedy. Umarex has a winner with this one.
What others should know:I was afraid I wouldn’t like the lower power after carrying my Maverick .30 or cricket 2 .25 but the lightweight and easy carry design drew me in to try it. All I can say is I’m impressed. Have yet to fail to drop anything I’ve shot at. The power is plenty for small game at 50 yards and closer. I’ll be posting plenty of pictures on the hunting forum of my success with this rifle. Thank you Umarex and Pyramyd air!

Shipping A+! Compact rifle. That's where it ends!
Things I would have changed:Air tube needs more cc's,Needs external adjustments, Cocking flapper, put on right side! At least put a 15"barrel. But I knew that part. Make better magazine! Less plastic! Needs more durability! The price!!!

Excellent shooter. Great handling. Seems to be very tolerant of different pellets. Seems to be user modifiable as well.
Things I would have changed:A better magazine. Mine jammed and broke the first day shooting. I took off a star in the rating because of the magazine. A little bigger tank option would be great, maybe as an aftermarket option? Also wish it had a fixed foster connection instead of fill probe.
What others should know:Speed range: 885fps with lead free H&N 9.7grain , down to just over 700fps with 18 grain pellets. I've not seen anyone mention using them, but my Notos really likes the predator polymag shorts.
Do yourself a favor and get some 10 shot carm or maple leaf magazines. Also get the front grip from Buck Rail. It's worth it for the feel and the m-loc slots. I also think I will be adding the 3rd party plenum.

This is my 3rd Umarex rifle, and quickly becoming my favorite. Though it doesn't pack the same punch as my gauntlet or origin; it is perfect for small game (dove, rabbit, etc.). I paired it with a Vortex 2-7x32 scope which works quite well with it. This little carbine has exceeded my expectations. It is very accurate for the barrel length. I don't believe anyone would be disappointed with this gem.
Things I would have changed:I am not a big fan of the magazine. I had problems with the one that was shipped with it. But as usual, when I reached out to Umarex about issue, they replaced it right away, and sent another for my trouble.
What others should know:Whether you are new to pcp's or have a vast collection, this is one to add.

Wow, what a fun little air gun! I like everything about it with two exceptions but far from deal breakers. More on that later. If you are a first time PCP buyer let this one be your first. I can just fill it up take it out and hammer targets until it's empty. It's as accurate as guns that cost 2,3,4+ times as much. It's not pellet picky. It will happily shoot whatever you feed it. The regulator is solid. Shot count is good for the way it's set up and its cylinder size. The stock and grip are comfy. The upper pic rail is solid and most importantly, straight. The stock moderator keeps it quiet enough. There is a great complement of Umarex add ons and 3rd party upgrades. I own many low-mid range to high end guns and this one is in my top 3. Great gun!
Things I would have changed:Ok, the design of the factory mag could be better. However, after some adjustment using Umarex's guide on YouTube and some trial and error, it's very acceptable. Just be sure to shoot the mag empty before you remove it, or you might have an issue with a stuck or mangled pellet. Maple Customs and Carm make some superb mags that are smooth as they come. The trigger is around 4lbs which isn't necessarily a bad thing just depends on what you like and are used to. It can be set to break really clean, at around four pounds, vs dragging the disconnector across the sear for an 8th of an inch feeling funky. So better mags and a cleaner trigger would be nice but for a gun this sweet for the $ I get it.
What others should know:No air gun collection is complete without one and if you are looking to buy your first PCP air gun look no further. After a short break in period, you'll be grinning from ear to ear every time you take it out.
