I have been very pleased for the most part. From 0 to 3000 is about 120 or so pumps then from 1000 to 3000 it's about 75 pumps. But unless your a beefy guy like me you may have some trouble generating enough mass to pump this thing! For the record, I fully intend to get an inexpensive compressor for this. Pumping is okay until you have to do it more than a couple of times then it becomes a bona fide workout. Magazines fit snugly and cocking is smooth and positive. after a little tuning groups are basically one hole at 25 yards and 1/4" at 50. shooting Crosman Premier .22 Cal, 14.3 G Hollowpoints. switching to H&N 23-grain SLUG had the effect of dropping the groups 1 inch lower but still accurate and tight. don't have a crony so don't have any numbers for comparison but the target show that they're hitting a lot harder than my Springer.
Things I would have changed:Things I did not like, There is a noticeable lack of disassembly information. I would like to change the stock and put a more tactical stock on it. But there are no exploded diagrams or disassembly instructions. Additionally, The rubberized Cover over the fill port can be problematic. And there is a noticeable lack of mounting points for bipod or even a sling. Hence the reason why I would like to change the stock. But other than that I have no real complaints. The gun performs well, appears to be well made, the one thing that did surprise me was that the air pump seem to weigh even more than the gun did. I wish for the day when someone would develop a micro pump running off a lithium battery and built right into a PCP.
What others should know:Out-of-the-box the power setting is a bit rough, they seem to have it tuned for Max power. At least mine was, which gave me severely a reduced shot count and a little too much spread to the groups The hammer spring was only 1/2 a turn from Max, so I turned clockwise to Max and then backed off counterclockwise 1-1/2 turns. That settled the gun right down, shot count went way up from a low of 30-40. To at least 40-60 good shots . Subsequently the groups tightened up as well
Pyramidair was pleasurable to do business with. But be warned once they have your email address They are relentless with spam advertising mail which was a turnoff for me and almost lost me as a future customer.

The power is awesome
Things I would have changed:Add front and barrel sights.
What others should know:The pump is too difficult to acquire 3000 psi. Retuned gun and pump in favor of another brand of which had favorable reviews.

Everything pretty much very impressed with my first pcp
Things I would have changed:The pump is garbage.... Ditch it and reduce the price of the gun so ppl can use the extra money to purchase a different fill option

First off, I did not purchase this from pyramid air, so nothing about my review shoud be considered reflective of pyramid, but solely the umarex origin.
Things I would have changed:Quality control.
What others should know:Recieved a new in box origin, and it wont hold air. After about 7 or 8 pumps, you can both hear, and feel air leaking from where the air tube connects to the main receiver. For all the hype about this being such a great entry level gun and quality, I cant give it any rating if it wont even hold air. Very dissatisfied with the quality control. I'm guessing this is going to be a big issue for them just after Christmas when more people start having the same issue. I would like to add, this want just 1, but 2 guns that were purchased, and it is the same issue with both. I would give zero stars if it would let me. How can I legitimately give it even one, when the most basic function of an air rifle is to hold air, and they dont!

This is my first PCP air riffle and set up including assembly of the pump was very easy. All tools needed were included. Once I set up a scope (UTG 3-12x32 Bug Buster) very accurate and powerful. Used for pest control and it works very well.
Things I would have changed:Would like the magazine to show the remaining pellet count.

Amazing gun! One of the most accurate things for its price! I shot 3 pellets through the same hole at 75 yards using H&N slugs 23grain.
Things I would have changed:They could have made the barrel more sturdy tends to wobble. Easy fix with some sort of tape no problem!
What others should know:It comes with seals to fix any leaks and to rebuilt the pump so don't worry about buying a repair kit. You can change the FPS with a screw on the back! Amazing gun!

Feels very solid in the hand, comfortable stock, nice trigger. Very accurate, groups are nice and tight, and surprisingly consistent throughout the air system's 'ever pressure' range. 3yr Warranty on the rifle, and Umarex is responsive (had an issue with the pump, more me than the pump, they helped sort it out quickly).
Things I would have changed:It's a bit loud for backyard use, the open shroud helps some, but it needs more suppression in my opinion. Wouldn't be a big deal if outside of town or neighbors used to plinking noises.

It shoots great and hits where I aim it. I can get lots of shots in before I have to pump it back up.
Things I would have changed:I would change to fill port with the adapter unit and make it like the Gantlet .25 cal. If you loose the adapter you are out of luck until you can get another one..

Amazingly accurate right out of the box. Very little weigh. Easy to cock and the magazines load very nice. Fairly quiet.
Things I would have changed:The flap on the bottom, side should be changed. Under it is the depressure screw, the fill port and if you open it to fill the rifle, it does not want to go back in and never remove it from the third port because that will not go in unless you disassembled the rifle. The fill port is hard to line up to insert the charge adapter. Does not come with a scope.
What others should know:It is a hard hitter and you get 45-50 shots before a refill. Does not come with a scope, Picatinny rail to mount a bipod

The gun itself seems solid such as the stock...But I haven't had an opportunity to shoot it because the pump it came with was useless and would not pump any air at all. QC is NOT impressive considering that this gun is marketed for intro into PCPs and they make a big deal about the inclusion of a hand pump to get shooting straight out of the box. If the pump quality control was this bad I'm wondering how the gun could be. I bought a $350 paperweight until I figure out what to do about a reliable air source.
Things I would have changed:A pump that works as advertised and marketed. Gun is useless without the pump if you don't have any other air source.
What others should know:Cheap Chinese products will always be crappy quality controlled Chinese products. I bought into the hype but in the end You get what you pay for. I was excited about this gun and trying out Umarex-not so much anymore.

super accurate! Easy to hand pump, extremely consistent over shot string. The Ever pressure system makes the gun act as if it has a regulator.
Things I would have changed:Buffer kit for the hammer spring. Has a bit of a twang to it. Not so much of a complaint as me just being picky but hey that's what a review is about. This is the only area of improvement I can find.
What others should know:Very quiet other than the twang of the hammer spring, so much so that it's deceiving how much power it produces. The 18.13 grain jsb pellets hit the steel with so much Authority that they explode (nothing left but spalling and the base of the skirt) In my opinion the pellet hitting the steel is louder than the gun firing.

It has a well-made stock, a smooth cocking lever smooth safety and a very good trigger. The gauge is on the right side of the gun essay to keep an eye on, the fill port is easy to access. The trigger is between one and two pounds pull weight. With JSB 18.1 grain pellets at 25 yards hole in one at 50 yards 3/4 groups, CPH 14.3 accurate to 40 yards. The gun is very easy to fill 130 pumps to max psi. W/43 good shots. At 2000psi with 50 pumps you will get 25 good shots. The guns weight feels just right for carrying around for hunting and for offhand shooting.
Things I would have changed:.nothing
What others should know:Had to exchange the fist gun after the hand pump failed. The fist gun was accurate out of the box the second gun, the scope rail screws were lose. I also had to adjust hammer spring at Achieve good accuracy. I did not purchase the gun with pyramid air I purchased it from a local dealer.

Cocking effort , weight , trigger pull , accuracy , packaging , on time shipping. My shot string was longer than advertised/stated a nice/pleasant surprise. Mine is also surprisingly quiet.
Things I would have changed:For better grip add o-rings to the cocking lever. Single shot tray added. Needs picatinny rail under stock fore end for bipod and or laser.
What others should know:I posted a picture on the site with my results from my first range trip with the Origin. I do not have a chrono so no speed results. Also my results are incomplete as I took several more pellet types that I did not get to use due to wind. The pump is a unforgiving slave driver lol but fills from one end of the green fill area on the gauge to the other in 140 pumps I filled it several times and counted the pumps. I think I lost a few pound using it. Oh and it will get your heart rate up. I will be adding a SCBA bottle soon as I'd like to spend more time shooting than pumping. Overall a damn fine combo as it is.

Great all inclusive package. Perfect for backyard shooting.
Things I would have changed:Composite receiver.
What others should know:This is my first PCP and I couldn't be more pleased. I assembled the pump, mounted a UTG true hunter 3x9x40 and set up to pump. The pump is not a precision piece of equipment from what I can tell, but it gets the job done. Again, this is my first PCP set up so I really dont have anything to judge it by. However, there seems to be a little slop in the pump handle.
After 126 pumps (I can see why people buy compressors) the gun was filled. I loaded both magazines (comes with 2) with my standby crossman premier 14.3 domes. It took me a few rounds to get dialed in but once I was sighted in the fun factor kicked in! This is an accurate gun. Did I bust out my caliper and measure my groupings at 30 yards? No, that is not the kind of shooter I wanted something that I can hit where I put the crosshairs. This gun delivers exactly that. I do enjoy shooting my RWS 34 (.22) but having the ability to keep welded to the scope for multiple shots is great. I would strongly recommend this gun!

This is an incomplete rating at the moment I will update this over the weekend after some range time. I ordered the rifle this past Saturday or Sunday. Received a notification they got my order. My order was picked and shipped arriving as promised. Packaging for shipping was well done. Opening the box I found all the items I ordered nicely packed. No parts seem to be missing. Box was clean and showed no signs of being handled. My only disappointment was finding no single shot tray. Pellets I will be testing this weekend are as follows; JSB Test pack containing several sizes Jumbo heavy 18.1, jumbo monster 25.4, jumbo rs 13.4, and jumbo 15.9. JSB jumbo heavy 18.13, JSB jumbo monster 25.39, H&N trophy power 14.66. there will be no report on speed as I do not have a Chrony. A chronograph will have to wait till a later date when I have resources to afford one. However I will post the results of its accuracy at 25, 50, and 75 yards I may if I have time do 100 yards.
Things I would have changed:Single shot tray needs top come with the gun. Hope I can get one.
What others should know:I will be testing more pellets soon.

The gun is very accurate and comes with 2 magazines. Side lever cocking and a nice trigger.
Things I would have changed:Get rid of the garbage hand pump mine filled the gun to 2800 PSI 2 times and stopped working it wont pull up for air intake. My gun is loud even with a DonnyFL FX suppressor it's still too loud for my back yard.
What others should know:Buy a 60 dollar hand pump from Amazon way easier to completely fill the gun. My Origin is louder than my suppressed Browning Buckmark 22 LR.
