Purchased this crossbow package on a whim as a buddy was having really good luck in early season hunting with a higher end TenPoint model. So far I am very pleased. Took maybe 10 shots to zero the scope. Finally shot a little buck with it in early November. Bolt went clean through and the deer maybe went 50 yards. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the crossbow is a little big and bulky. But, for price you can't beat the performance of the overall package. Just under 400 FPS with the aluminum arrows is plenty of power!

I sold and serviced bows and crossbows for years. My buddy purchased this bow from another retailer, expecting the speeds to be as advertised. He didn't believe me when I told him not to get his hopes up. Using the factory bolts and some slightly heavier bolt combos I had made up we put it over the chronograph. Velocities we're: 341, 342, 342, 341, 341. EXTREMELY consistent, but not even CLOSE to advertised speeds. The thing is, tenpoint and wicked ridge by default, advertise their bows factory speeds with the LIGHTEST bolts safe to shoot and not with real world hunting weight bolts. They're well built and accurate, but do not think you're getting 400 fps out of this bow, because you will be disappointed. It is very accurate and stacks bolts to 50 yards all day as shown by the insanely low velocity spread. It did need some sound dampening and I'm sure that didn't help velocity, but if you keep your shots within reason and take ethical, responsible shots this bow will do well.

The manufacturer needs to advertise speeds with heavier, hunting weight bolts.

Good value and VERY consistent and accurate.

The crossbow is great. The only problem I’ve had is that the accudraw 50 cord broke the second day I used it. I had to drive to a service location to have it fixed. This hasn’t happened with any other wicked ridge crossbow I’ve owned.

I find the invader 400 overall a very good purchase. Accurate at 60 yards plus with a good punch. Somethings I would like to see is a longer stock, and not as much weight.
I do, however, recommend this product to anyone.

I love the crossbow it works great. But my ratcheting mechanism and the hand crank no longer ratchets, so I have to hold it with my thumb for safety, so I will have to have that replaced at some point under warranty.

I found this cross bow to be a good bargain for the price. It is not that loud, very accurate, easy to cock and comfortable for me to shoot. I would of given it a five star rating but the only draw back is the trigger. There is a lot of creep in the trigger pull before the arrow releases. I would prefer a much crisper trigger. I have not reached out to their customer service team yet to see if there is anyway to adjust the trigger to take out some of the creep.

Invader 400 is so powerful that the arrow went through both shoulder bones in my deer. Shot over 100 arrows and so far the string is in good condition. I do recommend this excellent bow with a great price tag.

For some reason acu draw didn't engage and was ripped out of my hand bent back nail and had swollen left index finger took to archery addition and was told that mechanics on internal parts were worn prematurely after just about10 uses have to be extremely careful when loading customer service wasn't the least bit helpful not the crossbow shoots great but not happy with acu draw.

Great crossbow, well designed and built. Very good accuracy. Made in the USA.

Extremely accurate. An adjustable stock would be nice.

Love it! With aftermarket bolts off a fest I shoot about 3" groups at 60 yards. I've shot 3 deer with mine and have shot it a bunch with no issue. If I had to critique one thing it would be the trigger. But with how much value they crammed into this bow I can't complain too much

Been to the range 4 times now , and Iam very happy with this crossbow . Very easy to use and very accurate.So far very good,hope to get out hunting soon and I now have confidence in this bow.

Make double sure to lock in crank handle into stock securely or it will fall out and you’ll lose it!!!!!

This is the very best crossbow I’ve owned and will never look for anything but Ten point Invader also recommended this one to all of my friends who bow hunt.Very nice crossbow.

While out of the store the bow performs well, after light repeated use the main string is worn on the right side because it’s contact with the top of the forend of the bow. I now need service on the string and perhaps the bow to adjust this imperfection.

Easy to put together. Shoots great! Directions lil tricky. Cant wait to use it in the woods and harvest a deer turkey or coyote

I had a need to replace my crossbow and chose the Invader 400 as a replacement. This bow not only replaced my older bow with what I thought was an exact replacement in speed and killing ability, it however is a great improvement over the different brand of crossbow I had. The cocking device is excellent and is a big improvement over my previous equipment. Sorry but I have not got to go hunting as of this time but without a doubt will in the near future.
