As someone who has been shooting a bow since I was fifteen years old and am now seventy I have to admit that I am amazed at the ease of use and accuracy of my Invader 400
I have been teaching Hunter Edfor over thirty years and am the Master Instructor in my county for both firearms and archery. It has always been my goal to keep our outdoor traditions alive, especially in the area that I live in which is only 25 miles from NYC. By the way I was born and raised in The Bronx which is an unlikely place for someone like me to have developed my deep passions for all things outdoors.
Because of major back issues I was o longer able to pull back any of my bows and to me that was like ripping a part of my existence out. Over the years I have touted the use of crossbows for the elderly and physically handicapped. I have taken our Wounded Warriors out on local hunts as well as handicapped individuals. I in all reality never dreamed of the day that I could not hunt in my traditional ways.
As last season ended I made the decision to finally have major spine surgery. In discussing the surgery with my surgeon I asked him if I had it in January would I be able to walk in the woods by May. He asked me why and I my response was so that I could go Turkey hunting. He thought that I was joking but I assured him that I was serious. The operation was a success and within a month Iwas walking Five miles on a treadmill.
Finally when May came around I was ready to spend some quality time in the woods.on opening day my nephew and I connected on a pair of Tom’s albeit with shotguns. I live in a town where there is very limited hunting and it is bow only. I have access to one of the last orchards in the county and I decided to try my luck on trying to harvest a Turkey there. I worked a pair of birds off the roost and after an hour of coaxing they came within twenty five feet of me as they say the rest is history.The very first time that I took my Invader400 into the woods as well as ever having hunted with any crossbow I harvested a 20lb.bird with 8.5 beard and 1” spurs. I could not believe accuracy of the croobow as the birds neck bone was split in two and the bird dropped right down.
The pictures show the bird with its wound as well as my grandsons with the bird. Now I can hardly wait for deer season to come around

This bow is more than I expected. Easy to handle. Fastest dead center sighting I have done. Same hole accuracy is no joke. Well built and fast! Also can't complain that I won't lose my cocking rope.

After careful research, conducting interviews and reading customer reviews, I decided to get the Wicked Ridge 400 crossbow. Evenly archery technician who helps it me up congratulated me on purchasing one of the best crossbows he knows of. I find it user-friendly, mechanically safe and most importantly unbelievably accurate with just a little practice. I cannot wait for hunting season and would recommend this crossbow to everyone!

My first Crossbow, was a little skeptical before purchase, but after shooting it, I love it.. Fast shooting, and easy to reload, love the scope.. This is a lot more fun shooting than my compound bow, able to hold on target and take time aiming without getting tired... Would highly recommend for anyone considering a crossbow.

This is my first crossbow and its awesome. This crossbow is very accurate and easy to use. I would recommend this crossbow to any one who is looking to purchase a crossbow.

First time with a crossbow I have to say the crank is very dangerous if it kicks back you need to have a safety built into it so it doesn't hurt someone

Went to cabelas in Hudson ma, shout-out to Collin for a knowledgeable and fun experience. Shot a few different bows in different price ranges. I chose the invader 400 because the price was right and it shot just as accurate as other competing brands did.

This is my first crossbow. It was recommended by a friend. I have owned it for 6 months now and I can say I'm very pleased. It is easy to use and the accudraw 50 makes it easy to cock. It came from the factory pre sighted and it was spot on, only had to make minor adjustments. I haven't taken to the field yet but I will update this review in the fall. Hopefully with a picture of a nice buck.

1st crossbow ive ever owned. And not sure if ill ever purchase another model. The accupro makes cocking the bow a breeze. The illuminated scope was just a few shots away from being right on the money. I did purchase wicked ridge match 400 arrow bolts to go with it and they are great also. A string dampening kit and limb dampeners. Ive put 3 bolts within 1-2 inches at 50yds and closer in all the better. Great crossbow. Cant wait for bow season this year.

Only use bolts with the WR alpha nock system, otherwise the warranty gets voided. Wicked Ridge match 400 bolts with 100 grain tips seems like money for me.

What a great crossbow! I am so impressed with the details and quality of this crossbow. It is easy to cock with the crank, and that is important for a guy my age with aching joints and a bad back. The trigger is just like shooting a rifle, with a nice pull and letoff. The view through the scope is clear and crisp. I like the dot system in the scope. Even the owners manual gets a thumbs up...it is easy to understand and very complete. A friend suggested starting with Wicked Ridge, and my local archery shop did, as well. I am glad I did.

This thing is popping with productivity, it's lightweight, fast,accurate,steady enough my 10 year old daughter can shoot it with ease. All around gnarly crossbow, would definitely buy again without hesitation.

I love everything about this crossbow! It came with a quality lighted scope built in cocking device and it is lightning fast and accurate.Crossbows aren’t always as fast as the number printed on the limbs. This bow is as fast as you claim. I could have easily spent double the price for vary little or no greater value. Thank you Wicked ridge for making my decision easy!

It’s a great bow for my son who is 14. He loves it so far, went through several ten point bows before getting this one. It’s kinda loud compared to my x4 invader. Had several ten points blow apart limbs cracking all purchased new!! That’s how we got the 400 now so hope it stays together. Time will tell I guess. It’s a very accurate bow an fast.

Really like the crank mechanism of this crossbow. Seem to be a very nice well put together piece of equipment.

This crossbow is a natural fit, I’ve tried a lot of crossbows and this one felt the most comfortable to me. Ten point wicked ridge is by far the best quality.
