As a “gun guy” living in a state that only allows bow hunting for the majority of the deer season isn’t my favorite thing.

After spending some time in the blinds with a regular compound bow I eventually went out on a hunt with a friend who brought along a crossbow.

I have never used a crossbow before and was instantly jealous of how agile and easy his life was in the blind, compared to my experience with a bulky full size compound bow.

I decided to take a risk on something I didn’t know and picked up an Invader crossbow.

Wow. I should’ve done this a long time ago. First even.

After taking about three shots out of the box at 20yards I made a couple adjustments to the sights, the bow was almost instantly ready to go.

After seeing this my non hunter wife wanted to join in for some fun. She was immediately able to hit 4” groups from 40yards HER FIRST TIME EVER SHOOTING A BOW!

She was won over right away, and also loves that with acudraw she can pull back the string effortlessly, unlike my regular compound bow.

10/10 would recommend. I should’ve bought this bow before my compound bow.

My first crossbow. Easy to operate and had it sighted in in 30mn. Accu Draw is an awesome addition. Can't wait to get it into the woods and hunt.

My husband can't pull back a regular bow because of his bad shoulder so we bought him a crossbow and he loves it. He can't wait to go hunting next year 2022. Its so easy, light weight and awesome.

The bow cocking sled is rather fragile and broke on the third use. No response when I attempted to contact the manufacturer for replacement, so I was out of pocket. Repair was easy and I treat it very cautiously. The sled also pulls on the exterior bow string wrap. Finally the scope loosens and rotates in the mount, requiring resetting and then the need to site in the bow again.

I’ve never owned a crossbow, but I do have extensive experience with rifles and pistols. This seems to be very well made, and I can’t wait to try my first crossbow hunt!

Absolutely amazing crossbow, ive been lookin to get a crossbow for lil over a month , I have been checkin them out looking thru reviews , I purchased this one caused it seemed to have the most bang for the buck.. Its light weight and accuracy were the selling point that got me to make this purchase , I got it sighted in and its hit the mark at 25 yards 10 times out of 11

The crossbow is fantastic and works extremely well. The 400 FPS speed is very good for the price of this bow. The only issue is that the scope caps keep falling off and I actually lost one on the way to my stand. Minor thing, but now I have to replace them.

TenPoint was the first brand I bought when i got my first crossbow, and will be the only brand of crossbow ill continue to use. after months of research and educating myself I went with the invader 400. this crossbow was very affordable and came loaded with all the accessories I could ask for. this crossbow has been reliable and stayed tough for a few years now and continues to harvest game. i have had no problems with the bow other than some of the serving starting to fray, but once i sent it in after deer season customer service handled everything and sent back my 400 in reasonable time.

Very consistent in grouping, a little trouble with assembling from package and probably need a second person to assist in assembling but great bow overall. Shoots very accurately at 40+ yards. Great entry level bow or for those with experience. My only complaint is that the acu draw cocking system switch tends to need be tightened from time to time and is vulnerable at times when loose due to regular use. I have had it fail while cocking but once I notice it I tighten the screw and it’s good to go again

Fast , accurate , lightweight , easy on the pocketbook and meets NYS crossbow requirements which requires minimum 17 inch limbs and under 200 lb . All with made in U.S.A! Checks all my boxes

Really happy with this bow... Very accurate and has increased my confidence in the hunt...

Great shooting crossbow. Love the illuminated scope. Only problem is the stirrup. It is to small when wearing hunting boots.

Love this bow. Big upgrade from my last bow from a different compant. I love the built in draw strings as I have forgot them before. The trigger is nice, the scope is great. I have no complaints at all, except i haven’t got to take a deer down with it yet (not the bows fault)

Once it’s sighted in it is a tack driver!! Love my invader!! Just always shoot your bolts with broad heads on.

Very accurate after dialing in the scope. Very easy to cock. Will be able to finally use it in the field on Saturday the 6th here in NY. Can't wait

This crossbow is well balanced. It is relatively quieter than other crossbows I’ve shot. The trigger is crisp. The only drawback and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the stirrup is way to small. This makes it extremely difficult to cock wearing most hunting boots.
