Great quality, and they do exactly what they say. They deform on impact and seriously reduce ricochets.

Of course the price is high, and the lead inside makes them more toxic than standard BBs.

Buy some and try it with your gun first. As always, some guns will prefer certain ammo, and as already touched upon these are non-magnetic. I have a Beretta 92A1 Full Auto and the accuracy is pretty poor with standard BBs - I hoped these would improve it, but they did the opposite. From 10 yards, dead centered on the target, I cannot even hit the pellet trap. As people say with the Beretta, it normally shoots low-right, with these it shoots VERY low-right - multiple inches off - but I cannot blame the ammo for this. Also, unlike stated in a previous comment, these do work perfectly fine with full auto.

Excellent Product !! Nice smooth lead BBs. Great for indoor plinking using a metal trap, without typical BB ricochet. At about 500 fps they flatten to about half their diameter. I sure wish these had been around when I was a kid. These heavier BBs seem to have more "punch" out of my shorter CO2 pistols.

NOT A THING

As with heavier loads in firearms, more energy from the propellant is transferred to the projectile in shorter barrels because it's moving a little slower so there's more time to transfer that energy than faster moving lighter loads. Even though I haven't run the numbers, I "think" these are superior in knock down power out of my otherwise 485 and 520 fps pistols. The "thump" certainly seems more prominent than a "ding" as more energy is then transferred to the target rather than bouncing off of it.

Zero ricochets in my experience on indoor 10 meter range. Consistent in their performance.

It works, do not change anything

I recently purchased the Umarex Legends Cowboy Lever Action CO2 BB Air Rifle and wanted to use in my indoor range. However using regular BBs always produced too many ricochets. Then I remembered PA shipped some of these BBs with some past purchased air guns. I gave these a try and really glad I did. They fit perfectly in the cartridges and at 10 meters were very accurate! The really big deal about these is absolutely zero ricochets from any of my shots! I feel perfectly safe using these in an indoor 10 meter range.

Safe for indoor target shooting

I've been trying to find a way around the use of steel BB's so I can protect the rifling. Got some Gamo lead BB's. They are actually pretty decent. But they won't go through a BB magazine (Crossman, et al). Gamo lead BB's are sized to take rifling marks. The Smart Shot is the same size as steel and do fit a BB magazine, except you need to understand that if your magazine requires a magnet to function, you will have issues - but they work. I like the Smart Shot.

As always, price. Smart Shot is more expensive. You need to decide if that additional cost is worth it to you.

The tins are snap on lids unless you get the bottle or the bubble wrap package. The bubble wrap is a screw on lid, and the bottle is a spout. Do some math. With Pyramid's 4 for 3 discount you can get the cost down to a penny and a half each depending on the packaging. Otherwise its 2 cents each. For occasional shooting, that's no big deal. For large volume shooting it adds up. And as others have said, try them out before you buy a larger amount. Some people don't like them but others, like me, really do.

They are what they are. Just dont work so well in my old daisy that needs magnetic bbs :(

Got to shoot these for the first time today. I'll have to say I was impressed with what I saw. I almost didn't want to shoot them. They were to pretty. I couldn't find any imperfections. They are a little heavier than standard bbs so the shot pattern changed a little but they seemed accurate. The only negative thing I can say is that unless you are shooting them at high velocity then you arnt going to benefit from the 'low ricochet'. I'm only shooting about 400fps and had one come back from 10 yards. When I picked it up to inspect it I couldn't find any evidence it had even been shot.

The price.

They arnt cheap but the quality is there.

I became enthralled with the 1911 pistol last year and have purchased 4 different models so far. This Sig Saur is a very realistic looking and functioning gun. It has the weight that I am sure a real one would have. The blow-back action is very solid and the gun is pretty accurate. It ahs become my favorite model.

I can't think oof a thing that I would change.

Probably good idea to get extra magazines as shooting it is lots of fun.

Ideal for situations where ricochet mitigation is important. Perfect sizing decent packaging.

These are around 50% heavier than steel BBs. Expect lower POI, a negative factor if your gun has fixed sights. I would suggest first buying a small quality to test performance.

I could shoot at targets as if I were using a pellet gun because the BBs will mushroom on hard surface.

Make sure that each bb is consistent in shape and weight.

They are not steel so if your gun requires a magnet you make need to rethink this product.

These will not work in full autos, but otherwise they are fine.

I just tried this in a Crosman Vigilante. Most of them hit the steel target and dropped straight down as they should. I have had a few come back at me though. I'm not quite sure why but they aren't coming back with enough power to do much harm. I heard one hit the livingroom window but it did no damage. Most would flatten to a perfect half of a bb. I did not see any lead exposed through the copper jackets. So they are working well.

These are fantastic jewel like BBs . I like being able to shoot at steel silhouette targets with my revolvers indoors,they do flatten right out just as advertised.

Better lid.

Save your lid tape to bond the lid on or they will dump.
