It does the job

For the money, I wish there were a lot more in the box... like 300+

it's a tightly packed bit of white felt.
Make sure you read the instructions before you use these the first time... I've seen too many people just but one pellet in not realizing they may be causing damage to their gun because the single cleaning pellet does not provide enough resistance in the chamber.
**Minimum 2 in a pistol and 3 in a rifle (magnum rifle, you probably want to stack 5 in there)
Not a lot of other options out there for very quick barrel cleaning, so I'll keep buying the beeman's even though I feel they are overpriced

Well they almost work.

The instructions included say to use 2 at a time for a spring pistol but I need to use 2 at a time at least 3 times to get a half-way decent cleaning. I'm looking around for a coated rod to use with a mop instead.

Very easy to clean and when its easy you will do it more often, right? A small wire will help to push the cleaners down the breech end of the barrel and when using a spring gun it reccomends three cleaning pellets.

More in a pack would be nice

I cleaned mine in the garage and shot at a heavy cardboard box and they blew through both sides, SO think pellets not cotton balls when shooting the cleaners out!

Don't shoot them and anyone! It's for cleaning, the gun is very loud when these are fired, and may hurt someone or something goofing off... The same goes for the 22cal.

A new airgun might come with a good deal of oil or similar solvent in the barrel. If so, I still recommend a few 100% cotton patches first, then the cleaning pellets. If you are lazy, just the cleaning pellets.

fun way to clean gun as said in other reveiw ,does make cleaning easier and fun then just pushing a rag rod threw the bore.

Since i have the beretta cx4 storm tactical. The felt pellets are hard to load into the rubber chain clip and stuffing more the one in the individual holes as suggested on instructions is almost impossible,but can be done. If on end was tapered or beveled a bit, they would be easier to load into belt. but as said ,just for this rifle. It would be nice if their were more pellets per package !

remember this reveiw is just for the beretta cx4 storm. i used them in my two other hand wepons and they worked fine !
