Quality, shape, feeding into the breach, The screw on lid!! Out of the the 2 .22cal rifles I have, this pellet seems to be a winner. It seems that its an match for the JSB pellet of the same weight. (18.13 gr. ) Shoots true and I get (when I do my part) 3/16" groups at 10 yards with my Steel Eagle and one hole the size of the pellet 10 shot group with my Marauder F&T. Now I have 2 to choose from when one is out of stock I just grab the other.

Just try them, they are well made and shoot well out of my rifles. If you shoot the JSB 18.13gr pellets you owe it to yourself to give these a try.

These pellets shoot just a accurately out of my Avenger .22 as the 18.13 gr. JSB pellets. I like the screw-on lids.

Have tins of 500 each with screw -on lids.

Since the lead alloy is different the the JSB pellets a few shots will need to be fired to get the accuracy to settle in before evaluating the H&N pellets accuracy.

I'am using these pellets in my Benjamin Akela. Shooting at 30 yd targets 5shot ragged hole, poi is about 3/4 in higher then when shooting the JSB EXACT jumbo heavy diabolo 18,13gr. The H&N pellets seem to have less coating, less mess on fingers when loading mags. Not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. Hope this helps.

The JSB pellets that shoot best in my rifle have been back ordered for months so I gave these a try. I found they shoot almost as well and cost a bit less. The tins have a screw on lid.

Some of the pellet skirts were not round. It would be better if they would put a foam pad on the top and the bottom of the tins.

These are worth a try.

I typically use JSB pellets and these shot nearly identical.

Shape and weight the same as JSB 18gr just a little harder alloy but my RAW HMx LRT has the same accuracy and POI with these.

These 18gr. pellets are very accurate out of my FX Maverick, they group .75 in. @ 75yds. This makes them from now on my go to pellet! I will be buying more.

Need to put more pellets in the tins (250) - (500) would be GREAT.

I have tried different makes and weights of pellets in my airventure Avenger .22 cal. and they all shot well but the H&N 18.13 shot the best. the gun loved them. 10 shots at 20 yards at rest, a hole in a hole The best pellet I have tried.

This pellet is very accurate in my 22 flash. The price point cant be beat. People that dont know about these shoot jsb

Make it pointed like the 21 grain but beef them up to 24 or so grain. Then they would not be the great pellet that they are.

These 18 are slightly more accurate in my 22 flash, than the 21 grain barracudas. I will continue hunt with the 21 grains for the extra thump.

I purchase these in the absence of other brands of 18.13 gr pellets. My stocks were dipping low. I have been a fan of other H&N rounds for quite some time. These did not disappoint. My Dreamlite compact easily achieved 1 MOA accuracy at 50 yards. My Origin also likes them. Not quite as tight there, 2 MOA at 50 yards. Good results. Pellets are clean, uniform in both weight and shape. Flyers? Not many. Good job H&N. Keep the presses running.

At first glance, I was a little disappointed, the Barracuda 18 did not come with the usual innovative or unique design features that I have come to expect with H&N Barracuda Match and Field Target Trophy. I didn't even find the same uniformity as I have with JSB Diablo. BUT, saying all of this, what I did find was accuracy and performance that has so far exceeded the rest of the pack in comparison. The pellet also appears to be favored by all of my .22 caliber airguns as well, and left an easy and favorable experience for loading. My guns liked this round a lot, and in the end, it is the gun's opinion that counts.

I was expecting a similar rear port baffling like you see on the Barracuda Match, and I was disappointed when one was not there. Also, the depth of the rear port is not very deep, which is something I towards in a high quality round. Lastly, I wish they included a thin piece of foam under the lid, like you find in other brands of pellets. This piece of foam helps to prevent the soft lead of the pellet from getting smashed when closing the lid.

You really can't beat the performance received for the price.

Superior packing and fast shipping. I bought a dozen tins and was a little worried that they may be damaged in shipping. My concern was unwarranted. They came with each tin nestled in its own heavy foam nest .The nests were taped together and adequately secured with packing paper so that they did not rattle around in the shipping box. Big thumbs up to the Pyramid shipping department. Nicely done. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Seem to perform as well as JSB Jumbo Heavies in my Diana N-Tec 350 Mag at 30 yards... Slightly cheaper too; plus you get a nice screw-top tin...

I have shot around 100 of these now; so far the slightly harder lead has kept me from finding any dented skirts in the tin-the JSB's I would usually find some; just from their own weight bouncing around...

Highly accurate in my Walther Reign 22 cal. at 30 meters. Pellets are moving at 960 fps with 37 ft lbs. I have dropped three squirrels at that range with upper chest shots. Pellet expansion against a hard surface is excellent I will conduct further tests at greater ranges.

A 500 round tin would be nice.

This pellet is probably best suited for a FAC rated rifle.
