Nothing special

This pellet is very accurate in my 22 flash. The price point cant be beat. People that dont know about these shoot jsb

Make it pointed like the 21 grain but beef them up to 24 or so grain. Then they would not be the great pellet that they are.

These 18 are slightly more accurate in my 22 flash, than the 21 grain barracudas. I will continue hunt with the 21 grains for the extra thump.

I purchase these in the absence of other brands of 18.13 gr pellets. My stocks were dipping low. I have been a fan of other H&N rounds for quite some time. These did not disappoint. My Dreamlite compact easily achieved 1 MOA accuracy at 50 yards. My Origin also likes them. Not quite as tight there, 2 MOA at 50 yards. Good results. Pellets are clean, uniform in both weight and shape. Flyers? Not many. Good job H&N. Keep the presses running.

500 count tins please. At least 250.

At first glance, I was a little disappointed, the Barracuda 18 did not come with the usual innovative or unique design features that I have come to expect with H&N Barracuda Match and Field Target Trophy. I didn't even find the same uniformity as I have with JSB Diablo. BUT, saying all of this, what I did find was accuracy and performance that has so far exceeded the rest of the pack in comparison. The pellet also appears to be favored by all of my .22 caliber airguns as well, and left an easy and favorable experience for loading. My guns liked this round a lot, and in the end, it is the gun's opinion that counts.

I was expecting a similar rear port baffling like you see on the Barracuda Match, and I was disappointed when one was not there. Also, the depth of the rear port is not very deep, which is something I towards in a high quality round. Lastly, I wish they included a thin piece of foam under the lid, like you find in other brands of pellets. This piece of foam helps to prevent the soft lead of the pellet from getting smashed when closing the lid.

You really can't beat the performance received for the price.

I bought a dozen tins and was a little worried that they may be damaged in shipping. My concern was unwarranted. They came with each tin nestled in its own heavy foam nest .The nests were taped together and adequately secured with packing paper so that they did not rattle around in the shipping box. Big thumbs up to the Pyramid shipping department. Nicely done. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Seem to perform as well as JSB Jumbo Heavies in my Diana N-Tec 350 Mag at 30 yards... Slightly cheaper too; plus you get a nice screw-top tin...

I have shot around 100 of these now; so far the slightly harder lead has kept me from finding any dented skirts in the tin-the JSB's I would usually find some; just from their own weight bouncing around...

Highly accurate in my Walther Reign 22 cal. at 30 meters. Pellets are moving at 960 fps with 37 ft lbs. I have dropped three squirrels at that range with upper chest shots. Pellet expansion against a hard surface is excellent I will conduct further tests at greater ranges.

A 500 round tin would be nice.

This pellet is probably best suited for a FAC rated rifle.

Very well made pellet and consistent weight...Also the care that was shown by p air with its shipping of these pellets was outstanding.....My hatsan mod 95qe shoots these the best of any pellet iv'e tried so far......Try a can and see if they work for you..... Thats all i got.....

Always be aware of what is beyond your intended target before you pull that trigger.....

These Baracudas are very well built and good quality pellets. They work perfect in my Remington Express .22 caliber and hit hard at the target. For small game, I hit a raccoon around 25 yards but wouldn't recommend going any further then that. I would use these pellets in a hunting rifle over 20 foot pounds of energy because they are very accurate with a well placed shot. So far, these are the best pellets I have and like them very much!

Having 500ct would be nice

Do your own research as not every pellet works the same for your air rifle. Remington is an excellent brand and works for me so I'm definitely not trying to downplay any other's. Find what works for you but I do recommend theses pellets for .22 caliber.

Great weight and shape is very consistent.

Nothing then are my new go to for long range accuracy.

Did a little target practice using the Benjamin Marauder PCP , shooting the new H&N Baracuda 18 pellets at 50 yards . Shot 40 rounds at eight 3" targets in 5 shot groups. It was quite gusty - I usually waited for the wind to die down before shooting . Scope was set at ( +4 , 0 ) . Results : 13% shots were within 1 MOA of the POA ; 53% shots were within 2 MOA of the POA ; 93% shots were within 3 MOA of the POA . The results were not as good as the results on Friday, a calm day. Used the Hatsan FlashPup .22 shooting H&N Baracuda 18 pellets at 50 yards. Shot 40 rounds at eight 3" targets in 5 shot groups . The scope was set at (+4 , 0) . The results were : 13% were within 1 MOA of the POA ; 53% shots were within 2 MOA of the POA ; 80% shots were within 3 MOA of the POA . The results were a little worse than the results obtained on Friday . Friday was a calm day , versus a gusty day . Measured gust of 12.2 mph. Need to shoot again on a calm day.

I was hoping that they would be better in the wind at 18 gr, versus the 14.66 gr. pellets. If you have zeroed the scope using 14.66 pellets, a +4 MOA gets very close to the POA.

Very consistent shape and skirt. Flies straight from most of my guns and groups tightly.

Adding a few more pellets to the tin would be a nice thing.

Your mileage may very but I will be purchasing more of these.

Use these in my crosman 2260 pcp I built. With a 2800 psi fill and 16" barrel, these are producing 23 ft/lbs of energy and are laser beams as far as I can shoot them. They load easy, no jerking or tight loading. Very consistent in weight and shape. I had this gun zeroed with polymags but they lose their accuracy after 25-30 yards. Had to adjust my scope by 2 clicks up and 5 to the right to get my zero back from the polys. This gun shoots the jsb 18.13 well too, so I took a gamble and ordered 1600 of these pellets and was amazed at their performance and quality. They are grouping and loading better than the jsbs. Squirrels, groundhogs, and pest birds are toast for sure.

nice looking pellet , no flash on the skirts at all. compares favorably to the JSB 18.13 pellet. The price was a fantastic deal wish I would have bought more but didn't.

I would say they give the JSB's a run for the money, atleast in my guns and you might have better results, give them a try to see how your gun likes them. I will buy more.

I just love um . Move over JSB. Theirs a new pellet in town.
