Being my first PCP I have nothing to compare it to, other than my Benjamin Trail NP. Break barrels are not even in the same league as the PCPs. With the Avenger, and other PCPs with such ajustability, there is a bit of a learning curve. Love the rifle, love the potential. Happy plinkink, hunting.
Things I Would Have ChangedEven though mine has a synthetic stock, it lends to weight reduction (makes transport easier), it allows for a "cheap" feel and furher undermines the potential of this $350 Underdog. The gun does lack some refining features such as: barrel is not crowned, the trigger is good but could be improved, the barrel would benefit from multiple spacers vice the single
What Others Should KnowThe synthetic stock isn't terrible. In fact, it can be pretty easy to overlook once you begin to explore and appreciate what your $350 got you. However, if you are a seasoned PCP gunner, the furniture will probably be a let down.
