These throwing spikes, also known as bo-shuriken or throwing needles, are made from tough 420SS steel and feature easy to hold paracord wrapped handles. They are perfectly balanced for backyard target practice. Four spikes to the set and two lengths are provided, 5 in and 8 in. These spikes are easily stored in a convenient nylon pouch.

Heat treat questionable. Spikes bend easily upon sticking in target.

I recently picked up on throwing weapons and when i came across these I had to try them out. They are sharp that stick nice even just starting out with throwing, once you get used to the paracord handle theyre even better
So, these lil stickers are Hella light. I was trying to figure out the best way to huck em, because my normal shuriken or knife techniques from 6-8 meters weren't resulting in sticks. However, I gave no-spin a shot, which isn't my best technique admittedly and wouldn't ya know it... sticks! Ugly flights, but fairly consistent sticks from a range I believe is prolly a bit extreme for these bo-shuriken. It has resulted in me practicing the no-spin technique much more often, which is a good thing, I think. It's good to expand your skill-set and it can be applied to other thrown weapons like Cold Steel Torpedos and certain knives.
Spikes are sharp & very cool, However the case arrived ripped.
The spikes are just what I wanted to play with in an enclosed area. They are small and light weight, stacked cardboard makes a great target. They fit right in with my other 30 or so Cold Steel products. Great quality at a good price.
Very slender and light. Paracord wrapping is a bit loose. Overall very fun design
