Moultrie Mobile Edge Cellular Trail Camera

Had these cameras less than a year. Both have now broken and require us to go and do check ins with the camera every 2 days almost. I’ve reached out to Moultrie. Heard nothing. Takes good pictures when it works. I have walked by the camera and never picked me up….

16 batteries and only last a day and a half with fair signal and only got around 200 pics before it died. No way to look at the pictures without the camera sending them. Missed a lot of pictures of deer based on a non cell camera on the tree next to it facing the same spot. Only good thing is it got service everywhere on my property. Will never use this camera again so just decoration now

My family gave me a Moultrie trail cam for my birthday in July of 2024. It worked for about six weeks and then quit working. I have tried everything to get it working. I have had two chats and one live call in and everyone wants me to go through the same steps to help solve the problem. I have tried all their ideas and my trail cam will still not work. The lady on the live call hung up on me while I was preparing a video she wanted me to make of me pushing certain buttons on the camera. On my third try today, the guy I was chatting with went home when 6 pm came in the middle of our chat. I am very disappointed in Moultrie. If the trail cam had not been a gift, I would throw it away. Since it was a family gift, I have stuck with trying to make it work so my family can feel good about the gift they gave me. If you would like to buy a trail cam, I encourage you to NOT buy a Moultrie, based on my experience.

had edge trail camera for awhile, work great,easy to set up in the field, and “wow” no aggravating sd card to mess with. Yeah moultrie.

Camera made it one year from purchase. Not only did the batteries start melting the connection port and started smoking, it made me smell Like a chemical plant and ruined my hunt Back the store I go to find a new one.

I bought the 2 pack. One camera is great and always takes pictures on time. My other camera is set in front of my tree stand, I had a doe walk in front of my camera and a buck stop in front of my camera, I harvested that buck on the spot. The camera never captured any of it. I even knelt down infront of the camera with my arrow to say a quick story on what just went down so I could save the video. Camera still never captured any of the activity even with great signal strength. The camera is brand new. I’ve gotten a few pictures. But I know for a fact it should’ve gone off several times and it never did. That camera was in front of my tree stand on a very hot deer scrape.

Terrible camera and the customer service is even worse returning both cameras. Junk

I think the product would be great but I can’t get it to work

It was the worst I've ever owned. I had it out for 1 week then took it back and bought different brand. Set it up did everything like directions said but wouldn't capture deer pics. I sat and watched 4 deer for 15 mins but it never took a Pic. I wouldn't recommend spending the money!

I've ran nothing but Moultrie cell cams the past 5 years. Started with the XA/XV's then bounced to some Deltas. Since the Deltas are basically starting to crash out this year, I decided to replace them with a few Edge's. I bought 6 and have 4 out currently. The no sim card is a plus as well as extra batteries for longer run time. The negative I've ran into is the lack of detection. I would always make sure I get a few good photos before I left the area to make sure the angle and frame is how I want it. All 4 I have put out, won't trigger while I'm walking in front of the camera. I have even driven my truck and a ebike past one and didn't receive any photos. So I can only imagine the photos I'm not getting of wildlife. Settings have been updated to the highest Sensitivity and 0 second detection delay. In my opinion the XA-XV's are still out performing these new releases.
