Pressure Gauge for HW90 and RX2

A must have tool if you are going to tweak your HW90 or Beeman RX2. Even with a Dwyer 500psi gauge on my stirrup pump I was unable to accurately gauge my cylinder pressure. Anyhow, it works very well, seems to be accurate and can be used while the action is in the stock. As a side note; in .20, 13.74gn JSB at 19bar gives about 20fpe, at 21 bar almost 25fpe, but with 50lbs of cocking effort. Probably won't keep this energy level, its just cool to know its available. The 26bar maximum seems ridiculous, I won't attempt it. Anyhow. A very nice, well made (German) gauge and easy to use. Even if a bit expensive.

The reviews I've read on the RX2 seem to indicate it is slightly undercharged. I like my Diablos running at 850-900fps, 13.74-15.89gn. Just my opinion. Purchase the gauge.

This gauge easily screws into the receiver with the stock on. Once fully tightened, a push/pull action is used to read and adjust the pressure. By pushing in the gauge, a pressure reading is shown on the gauge face. When the gauge is pulled back out, a little pressure is vented as the pressure reading on the gauge drops back to zero. Repeating the process easily reduces the pressure without having to do anything else. It is quick and easy to use and the best way to prevent over pressuring your gun that causes piston damage.
