I have to say, I like the green lighted nocks better. I shot a buck , I was able to see the arrow in flight, however from 20 yds. Away I could not see where it landed. Once I got to the spot of the hit I was able to see it. It was a sunny day.
The redesigned lighted crossbow nock works very good, much better than it's predecessor. I shot a doe in KY as she was facing me in a quarting angle. I shot her in the right front shoulder and the arrow almost exited out of her left hind quarter. I saw her drop withinn thirty yards of my stand and when she fell she broke off the arrow and the broadhead, which I couldn't find. However, when I pulled the remaining arrow out of the exit hole, the Alpha-Blaze nock was light up like it was supposed to be. More importantly, it was not broken, which was a problem with the older design. The other important piece that makes the Alpha-Blaze work so good now is the new aluminum bushing in the end of the arrow; no more plastic, no more breakage. Together, they both make for a really good package.

Coming from a compound bow set up. The original green alpha lighted nocks that came with my ten point were disappointingly not very bright, compared to my Nockturnal on my compound bow setup. I ordered more from ten point in red and much brighter. Still not as bright as Nockturnal for my compound but will do. I will be ordering more of the Red lighted alpha nocks.
