Rating 5.05.0 5.0

Things I liked:

Good stuff, very similar to the oils we used in paintball guns back before electronics and solenoids took over.

Things I would have changed:

What others should know:

Never use petroleum based lube on guns. Over time, it will eat everything that isn't metal. Fixed a lot of paintball guns that kids used their dads 3 in 1 on. Dried everything out. In some cases, cheap orings were mush.

Rating 2.02.0 2.0

Things I liked:

Serves it's purpose.

Things I would have changed:

Over priced. $8 to $10 at most.

What others should know:

Is what it is. If you can find better for less, buy it.

I wish someone can detail for me exactly where you put the spring oil and chamber oil on my Diana LP8 airgun. Cant find it anywhere.

    • Eric from USA answered:

spring oil right on the spring, chamber oil down the little air hole behind the breech

  • fred from USA asked:

    best oil for breakbarrel?

    • Steve from USA asked:

I just had a senior moment. Was not wearing my glasses and put this oil in the air chamber. Not good. I have a Remington NPSS. Did I just reck a great gun? What do I do now?

      • Chevota from USA answered:

I don't know what kind of oil that stuff is but I'd say it won't hurt it. It'll likely diesel loudly when you fire it, maybe for a few shots and that'll be it. If you're really concerned you could take the gun apart and clean it out. To be honest I have no idea what this oils point is other than making a profit. I can't imagine it being as good or better than grease or motor oil. Moly paste or spring tar also work. Your NPSS has no coil spring but you should still lube the piston and shaft of the nitro spring. I'd use grease or moly paste but motor oil will work.
