It's workable. JUST workable.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would tighten the tolerance between the bolt bore and the bolt itself. The bore cut for the Breech block (and or the bolt itself) has too much clearance. I have 3 of these Breech Blocks and one bolt bore is machined .004" larger then the bolt itself. One is .005" and the other is a whopping .007" larger then the bolt itself.
What Others Should KnowThis is too much play and it is the reason the pellets get jambed in the magazine. If you force the bolt when it's jamming the pellet it will sometimes load BUT! if you shot that forced pellet it won't fly straight because the soft lead of the pellet has been deformed.
So to avoid this jamming you must bias the bolt to the side as it is sliding the pellet into firing position or it will jam everytime.
If you just so happens to have gotten a Breech block that has a tighted tolerance you don't know what I'm talking about. Your the lucky one. I'm not so lucky and because I didn't find out about this until I machined a Picadilly mount on the Breech block permanently and went thru the reassembly of my Diana Bandit Pistol. I'm pretty much stuck with what I have at least for awhile because I don't want to overwork the screw threads on this gun. If I were to strip the threads while re-assembly of the Breech block I'd practically ruin the entire gun because you can't get those parts.
