Seneca Aspen PCP Air Rifle, Multi-Pump PCP
Two Stage Velocity Adjustment
No Air? No Problem!
Read more about the Seneca Aspen in Dennis Adler's Airgun Experience Blog!
Leave your fill source behind with the Seneca Aspen PCP Air Rifle. As a multi-pump PCP airgun, shooting with the Aspen means never running out of air! Add a scope and rings, and you have everything you need to shoot for hours–free from air tanks, compressors, and handpumps.
As one of the most innovative options in PCP airguns, the Aspen uses an integrated pump to fill its 3,600 PSI/ 250 BAR cylinder. Once filled, you can shoot up to 17 shots with 40-60 pumps. Pumping the Aspen up is quick and easy, only requiring about 28 lbs of effort at 3,600 PSI. Once fired, your shots can reach speeds as high as 800 fps in .25, 900 fps in .22 caliber, and 1,000 fps in .177.
The Aspen features a two-stage velocity adjustment to keep you firmly in control of your shot’s power. With a flick of the dial, hunters can switch to high-power for devastating knockdown shots and be ready for the next shot 5-6 pumps later. With its dial set to low, target shooters can take almost 20 shots before you need to pump again. Each features a two-stage trigger to cater to your preferred pull.
These features alone make the Aspen worth the price of admission, but what if you already have a fill source? If you want to fill faster, the PCP still includes a Male QD probe to fill up your airgun the old-fashioned way.
With adjustable power, adjustable trigger, 10 shot magazine, and no fill source needed, the Aspen is an attractive and affordable option for PCP airgunners new and old. Take home your own Seneca Aspen and get the freedom to shoot as long as you’d like.

The idea of owning a PCP
Things I would have changed:How to make sure it holds air
What others should know:Since I don't know how much is involved in getting the problem solved, I really don't know what to do. I can pump it up and have a good time but somehow air leaks out of a tank and goes into another chamber making pumping impossible. I will have to dry fire until its empty and then re-pump it up. I may sell this one off and let someone who likes to tinker and get something more reliable.

Very accurate out other box with a cheap scope. Mounted a 3x9 on it h&n 33 grn at 25 yards on low power lays down a 1 /4 pattern. Also very easy to pump up I run around 3100 psi plenty of power to knock down small game. Let it cool down between pumping it. I pump it at 25 pumps then let it rest for a bit then pump again. When it gets down to 2000 psi it takes about 35 pumps to bring it back up to 3100 psi it's still pretty cold here so in the summer the heat will dictate how many pumps I'll take between breaks. So far so good I say buy one if the seals do go out it's simple to fix it. I ordered spare orings for when the time does come to repair it. Then maybe it might last a very long time. All in all I'm pretty pleased with it.
Things I would have changed:Haven't had it long enough to answer.
What others should know:Pretty accurate don't have that great of scope on it but cheap Walmart scope works pretty good on it. Just keep it well oiled.

If it's not regulated , is there a after market regulator available that will work in it ?
Does the Seneca Aspen have a regulator ? Valve adjustment and hammer spring adjustment is different from a regulator !?.

I've added a classic Bushnell Banner scope and it's accurate with the right pellets. (Blunt nosed pellets jammed in the magazine, but worked fine with the supplied single shot tray.) I also like the addition of a built in pump for a PCP. The over all feel of this rifle is solid for a composite gun.
Things I would have changed:I've read other reviews with comments about pump failures and I also have my reservations about the life of the pump. It just doesn't feel like it's going to hold up over time and the sound it makes while being pumped is inconsistent.
What others should know:I actually won this rifle from Pyramid Air. Go ahead and enter the promotions they offer, they're legitimate. I also intend to buy a stand alone PCP pump to charge this rifle regularly and use the built in pump only between shots to maintain air pressure. I get the impression that this is really what the pump is intended for.
