To maintain the seals for a long time, remember to put one pump of air into the gun when putting it away after shooting. Whether you plan to shoot again the next day or not again for another 2 years, always put one pump into the gun when you're done shooting!

Combo includes Sheridan Blue Streak CB9 rifle with an UNmounted Leapers 4x32 scope, Weaver rings and intermount with Picatinny rail (scope & mounts are not installed).

An American favorite for 50 years! The Sheridan Blue Streak continues to be one of the best-loved airguns. This .20 cal. rifle is a multi-pump pneumatic. The hardwood stock is sleek and lightweight and fits perfectly in your hands. The rifled brass barrel is finished in black and throws lead up to 675 fps! You can vary the velocity by the number of pumps (up to 8). The Blue Streak is ideal for hunting small game, plinking, target shooting, spinners and paper targets. It's a "must have" in every gun locker!

Although this gun has been made for decades, the manufacturer continues to put extra fine details in the rifle, such as a swelling in the forearm to make it easier to pump and a fully adjustable rear sight.

This gun does not come equipped for a scope from the factory, therefore our specs have it listed as unscopeable. To scope this gun, you have to purchase an aftermarket rail or an intermount. This model comes with rail and an intermount.

Leapers scope specifications:
  • 4x magnification
  • 32mm adjustable objective
  • Mil-dot reticle (range-estimating)
  • 7.5 yds to infinity parallax setting
  • 1/4" click value @ 100 yds

Things I liked:

Well made, good finish, easy to operate. My father owned one 50 years ago, but it was stolen and I've wanted to replace it since. This one seems every bit as good except the trigger (see below).

Things I would have changed:

Trigger pull is heavy, but there is information on the web about reducing the pull and cleaning up the action. Something I would leave to a shop that is familiar with Sheridans, but nice to know there is a fix.

What others should know:

I am using the iron sights until I get used to shooting again, but bought the scope combo and will review them when I install them. The gun looks to be dead on at 10m out of the box, 1/2" group with Benjamin ammo. Gotta love it!

Things I liked:

This is a very nice setup. I love mine, and it is very accurate. The scope is very good and adjustable. I think this is a bargin, and mine came with a Plano hardcase. Very nice for most small game.

Things I would have changed:

Not much, maybe an easy pumping mechanism.

What others should know:

Kind of hard to pump after two pumps, not for young shooter's.

Things I liked:

I purchased mine locally, but the set up is the same: mine is the Silver Streak with scope. Wonderful tool! I bought this because I missed the old rocker safety Blue Streak I had as a young teen many years ago. I like the new gun better, with the conventional safety button and the scope. I've shot a few hundred 5 mm pellets through it, all at paper targets at ten to twenty yards. I no longer hunt.

Things I would have changed:

There is very little I don't like about the Blue Streak or Silver Streak. It is just about right for hours of plinking fun or some serious target practice. It is light to carry, easy to cock, and not hard to pump for someone of average strength. It is powerful enough to hunt with, as I killed many squirrels with my old rocker safety, open sight, Blue Streak I had as a kid growing up in rural Nebraska.

What others should know:

There is a real advantage to having the scope for adult sized people, as the rifle is amall and it gets uncomfortable to put your head down to line up with the open rear sight. Get the CB9 Combo! If you are only going to buy one air rifle, this is the one to get. Skip the springers that are hard to shoot well, or the high dollar PCPs, at least until you get this and shoot it a good long time. Then move up if you need more power or accuracy, but keep in mind there is not much out there that is better than the CB9 Combo if you take into account all the factors including light weight, low price, great accuracy, sufficient power, carbine-like compactness and ease of use. I will give mine to my son, but only after I'm gone.
