Choosing between the 230 GR and the 200 GR and the 185 GR, I find there is definitely a difference with the lighter ammunition. I practice with the 230 GR FMJ and as a novice, I find the 230 JHP feels the same and my accuracy is similar to my FMJ targets.
Pretty good defense ammo, shoots well and looks reliable.
Flawlessly functions in my Kimber Ultra Cassy II, my Sig 220s, 320.
I have tested over 50 JHP rounds from just about every ammunition maker and the Sig Sauer V-Crown is one of the best in terms of performance, durability and accuracy. Recently changed to the 200 gr V crown ammo in my EDC (Sig Nightmare). Had been carrying the Remington Golden Saber 185 gr. Love the Sig ammo - tighter & quicker groups and a heavier bullet for serious business.
