10 of 10 SIG Sauer GSR .177 cal CO2 w/Metal Slide Pistol Reviews
Realistic weight and feel with CO2 and BB's loaded. Slick speedloader with a heavyweght durable magazine that loads in a snap, I bought an extra, great magazine! I prefer the CO2 in-magazine design. Flick off the safety with thumb and let fly, the trigger is awesome! I enjoyed firing this gun, they were wild until the gun settled in and then it was shooting on point, tight groups, pushing hard. I liked it so much I ordered another today! Can't beat for this price, wish I'd had this as a kid.
Things I Would Have ChangedI use a sharpie on the white lettering and it looks good enough.
What Others Should KnowIt should be called "SIG Sauer GSR .177 cal CO2 w/Metal UPPER, NON-BLOWBACK
This is a heavy gun, which feels fantastic in your hand. I use it for plinking and it does it's job well giving me 200 shots with one CO2 cartridge. The magazine is heavy and loads very easily with the supplied loader. I found it to be very accurate and well built. Have had no problems with it at all.
Things I Would Have ChangedI shoots a little high with the fixed sights, so it would be nice if the front sight was just a little higher, or the rear sight a little lower.
What Others Should KnowThe trigger is a bit heavy, but easy to get used to.
Very realistic in weight and looks. Many shots per CO2 cartridge. Excellent price and really fun to shoot.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe only complaint is the trigger. It has a rather long, heavy pull.
What Others Should KnowI actually got 200 shots with one CO2 cartridge on a day when the temp was about 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
Great feel and weight. This gun has a great look and sense of balance. The CO2 canister sits in the magazine which is great and a good safety feature. A great plinking fun.
Things I Would Have ChangedAccuracy is a bit off but not so much as to be an issue.
What Others Should KnowGreat starter gun.
Weight is heavy enough to feel like you are holding a real 1911.
Things I Would Have ChangedJust about everything.
What Others Should KnowThe trigger pull is VERY long and VERY heavy. The slide doesn't move. Not a big deal, but the hammer cannot be cocked and the pistol doesn't fire in single action, it's double action only. Which is totally wrong for a 1911. Grip safety is non-functional, thumb safety can be applied with the hammer not cocked -- again, incorrect for a 1911. This is a good looking copy of a Sig GSR pistol, but it's not a good choice for anyone who enjoys shooting.
Looks loke the real thing
What Others Should KnowIn the process of returning this product. Trigger mechanism is defective. Looks damn mean though.
heavy and solid feel when shooting no shaky parts inspite it not having blowback feature fun to shoot packs a punch.
Things I Would Have Changedadjust the internal hop up system if you can for a little more accuracy and make trigger more smooth .
What Others Should Knowuse it for fun and dont be a moron and brandish this in public .
Metal slide & weighty feel. The grip is just like that of a Sig grip. Ejection port cutout looks nice.
Things I Would Have ChangedClip kept falling out of gun! The clip release has a little screw on the opposite side which I tightened and it seemed to "help", but the screw was such a low grade plastic it pretty much stripped the head with any force of turn! Blowback would always be nice & adjustable rear sight would help a little. :)
What Others Should KnowAs said above about the clip falling out of the gun... the only real negative I have about it... However, it was negative enough to return it after only a clip & a half (not even a full cartridge). A shame how one little thing can really ruin a gun .. ... . :(
Good balance and feel. And is made well. Reliable and easy to load.
Things I Would Have ChangedGun shoots about 5 inches high at 21 ft. and has a long and somewhat hard trigger pull.

I like the seat position of the CO2 cylinder within the ammunition magazine. The ammunition feeder tool is helpful.
Things I Would Have ChangedI want both single action and double action. Replace the plastic hammer with a metal one and give me single action as well.
What Others Should KnowBlow-back would be nice for training purposes. However thrusting the slide backwards only detracts from the thrust given to the BB. The trade-off for realistic blow-back action makes little sense when there is no cartridge to eject.
