SIG Sauer MCX CO2 Rifle + Dot Sight, Black

No regrets about purchasing my MCX. The quality is great. It's a lot of fun to shoot. It consistently shoots tight patterns. Spend the extra money to get the red dot sight option. If I had to complain about something, it would be the trigger action. It requires a rather long 2-stage pull. The first stage rotates the belt in the magazine. You can feel the trigger settle into a zone once that is complete. The second stage will propel the pellet. Once you get used to the way it works, it's not a big deal. Would I recommend it to a friend? I've already recommended it to three. By the way, the magazine only comes with one belt. When you purchase a magazine, it comes with 3 belts.

IT is an outstanding practice rifle! Everything about it is like the real deal! Besides that, it is fun to shoot. The 30 round magazine is a work of art! It takes the air rifle to a whole other level! It is accurate. And for an air rifle, very consistent!

I love my pellet rifle. I was surprised at how solid, substantial, and well made it is.. Setting up the sight was easy and the accuracy is amazing. I really recommend this pellet firearm for the real feel safe target practice rifle.

Bought about 6/7weeks ago to upgrade grandsons from a red Ryder, they love it. Shoots great ,red dot is a learning curve for them. I am impressed with the quality of this gun. Great item going forward for grandsons to enjoy plinking and going to the range with them.

Better reliability.

Had mine for about 8 months when it stopped working. Maybe had 250 rounds through it? Contacted PA. They told me to contact Sig as it was still under warranty. I did so and Sig was GREAT. Emailed me a prepaid fed ex return label. It took about 4-6 weeks and now I have it back. They replaced it with a new one....not repaired. Hoping this one lasts longer than the first.....perhaps the new ones have the bugs worked out.

The excellent ergonomics of this air rifle provide that "wow...cool!" first impression that makes everyone (so far) who has picked it up want to walk out to the range with it. Kids, moms, everyone. It does not feel flimsy, plasticky, or toyish.
Sig has instilled a real-world feeling to all parts of this rifle.
That first impression only solidifies with use. I bought this for kid-friendly marksmanship training, garden pest control, and expected it to excel. It has.
We live at 6000' elevation, and average 400 pellets fired with one CO2 cartridge before performance degrades.
I have no reservations about recommending this to anyone who has experience with CO2 powered air guns. The purchase price was on par with any semi-auto 22 rifle from a reputable manufacturer. But this also came with Sig's excellent red dot sight, so the value-to-quality ratio is higher, as I see it. My only complaint is the lack of a "Made in the USA" tag on the rifle itself.
