They replace some of the cheap plastic parts in the mag with metal. Works much better.
Things I would have changed:I would have never put it on the market with the cheap plastic bag. It shot one time and broke. Had to wait a year and a half to get a new one. Quit dealing with Umarex because of that.
What others should know:I I have noticed one thing with umarex, they're cheaper guns are exactly that cheap. They are junk.

The gun itself is very impressive but when the clip hangs up in the gun and you have to fight it to figure out exactly how to place your thumb on bottom of the trigger guard and push hard enough to get the clip to release what I want to know does the clip that they now sell with the gun it's been modified and I believe it's a better build But will it still fit in the older model and if so why can't we buy one of the clips for the newer model looks the same.
Things I would have changed:I have tried in the past 8 months to be notified when it becomes available but I don't believe the site has taken my info when I entered it, so please notify me ASAP thank you.

As an avid Air Gunner with a large collection, I find it disappointing a spare mag, or two, cannot be found for the Umarex Steele Strike. One round or 900 rounds, Having spare mags and clips are a "must". Every gun in my collection has at least two spares for shooting and, two spares in storage. Umarex puts out a gun, like the Steele Strike for example, they need to make sure ampile supplies for the gun are available. This gun will stay in storage until magazines become available....Very Disappointed in Umarex...Any idea when the mags will be available?
