Air Arms Take Down Rifle is a great idea for airgunners who travel with their guns. Take this gun apart, stick it in the included fitted case and you're ready to go at a moment's notice. Just turn the wheel at the back of the rifle, and the gun comes apart in 3 pieces. Putting it all back together again at your destination is quick, easy and foolproof! The gun weighs less than 6 lbs., and the rifle with the carrying case is only 8.71 lbs.!

Like all quality rifles, the TDR has a 12-groove Lothar Walther barrel, a 2-stage adjustable trigger and walnut stock with an adjustable buttstock, adjusting from 37" to 41.75".

This gun isn't just for looks. It's a 10-shot repeater, with space in the rear stock to hold more clips that you can pre-load so you're always ready for more shots. (Gun comes with 1 clip; additional clips available) The air pressure gauge (manometer) always tells you how much air is left in the reservoir. If you want to add a bipod, there's a rail under the forearm just for that purpose.

The TDR is a full-specification hunting rifle and is fitted with all the features you would expect as standard. As its name suggests, the TDR is a 'Take Down Rifle' which means that it can be taken apart in a matter of seconds and packed down into its sturdy case which allows enough room to keep your scope mounted.

The TDR is perfect for those situations where discreet, convenient transportation is required.

Ideal for hunters who want convenience of a bullpup but a slick look!

Now, that's what a LOT of people have been waiting for. An FAC version is finally here! What a great alternative to bullpups. Seriously, if you want a compact gun that is easy to maneuver in the woods, yet you dislike the looks of the bullpups, or simply want a gun that is compact to store - this is a gun for you.

Things I liked: Functions perfectly! Very accurate with JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy pellets, and shoots NSA 21 grain slugs just fine. The included moderator is useless for reducing the blast of the rifle. I bought a thread adapter and use a DonnyFL Sumo suppressor on it, which makes the rifle pretty quiet. Very happy with this rifle.

Things I would have changed: Make the case slightly longer so the rifle with barrel thread adapter will fit.

What others should know: The whole thing is pretty compact when taken down. The case easily fits on the rear deck of my sedan...super easy to transport.

Things I liked: Very accurate. Excellent bluing, like all AirArms. Adjustable power.

Things I would have changed: Better magazine design; more like Marauder magazines. Also, easier cocking, although one does get familiar with the process.

What others should know: Most everyone agrees the magazines are expensive. Pricey air gun, but you are getting the best.

Things I liked: take down factors in nicely, 10 shot repeter, Air Arms quality.

Things I would have changed: Offer this in a .177 Open sights as an option, and the bottom acc. rail to be more of a "standard" size.

What others should know: Machining is top shelf, super accurate partly due to the pellet time in barrel because of it rather short length. I made sure to get the first version, that acually has the silencer/moderator newer ones is just shrouded barrel which because they did'nt change the case would now have an empty spot for this equipment.

  • Carl from USA asked:

can the bolt be switched to the left side for us southpaws?

    • Stanley from USA:

If you click on the schematics tab it shows the part numbers for the .177 #BS082 and 22 caliber # BS083 for left hand bolts. Hope this helped.

  • David from USA asked:

It's bark when fired is a HUGH downer for me. Why no sound moderation for this rifle INCLUDED is a puzzle to me. Can any noise dampening material be added to the short cosmetic thingy on the end of the barrel?

    • Darren from USA asked:

Anyone have experience with a SilencerCo Sparrow 22 (or similar rimfire) suppressor with sub-sonic velocities for Air Arms S410 in 0.177 or 0.22?
