  • Imitation wood foregrip & stock
  • Built-in 25 rd magazine
  • Realistic lever action

The Bravo 1892 gas-powered airsoft rifle is a stunning replica of the Model 1892, one of the most popular lever-action rifles of all time. The original Model 1892 was developed by John Moses Browning as a compact successor to the Model 1886. The new Model 1892 was suitable for pistol calibers unlike its predecessor which used hunting/military calibers. This change in design & functionality led the Model 1892 to be regarded by gun enthusiasts as one of the smoothest lever-action rifles ever built. The gun features a full metal barrel & receiver with imitation wood stock, a 25 rd magazine, and a shot velocity of 470-530 fps (using .20g BBs). Bravo has built the airsoft version of this legendary gun to be as close to the original specs of the Model 1892 as possible. The 25 rd magazine is built into the side of the gun and the lever performs just like it's real firearm counterpart!

ATTENTION: Use Propane only to fill this gun. The standard green gas can nozzle will not fit the gun's fill port.

Things I liked: The only thing I admired about this gun is its sights. But even those lacked some quality as the rear site would sometimes not sit down flush on the screw.

Things I would have changed: The metal on this gun is very brittle, not reliable what so ever. The imitation wood is very hallow and plastic sounding but does look good. The hop up adjustment screw is very very brittle and easy to break. Mine was defective as the bbs were flying every which way (mostly hard left). But even after thoroughly looking through the barrel and hop-up, I could not find what was causing such horrible accuracy. Also a full fill of gas only lasted me about 20 bbs before the fps began to drop. The cocking lever is also a bit wobbly.

What others should know: For 185 dollars I expected much better quality out of this gun especially reading and seeing some very good reviews on youtube. I most likely just got a bad one but even if it did have stunning accuracy and range like so many have claimed, it's not worth the 185 dollars simply due to its poor quality materials and design. I would not recommend this at all.

Things I liked: This rifle is heavy and very realistic in the feel and operation. Gas capacity is very good and power is adequate. The stock is plastic but looks like real wood. This rifle is alot of shooting fun for the money.

Things I would have changed: Loading BBs is accomplished with a loading tool that inserts into the loading port. Loading BBs into this rifle without the tool is almost impossible. This is not a big deal but it would be nice to be able to load the BBs on the move.

What others should know: My rifle did not come with an owners manual. I had to watch a video on U-tube to see how the rifle is loaded and where the gas injector port is located. I called Pyramydair and they checked with their distributor who advised them the rifle does not have a manual. In watching the video on U-tube they showed a manual included with the rifle they unpacked in the video. The manual would be helpful with the operation and in ordering parts at a later date. The folks at Pyramydair are great and I am totally happy with my purchase.

Things I liked: First off this a really fun gun to shoot. As mentioned in another review the action is smooth and it is fairly accurate. So far I've used it for a two-day in-game test with which I used properly oiled propane and .28g bbs. I was surprised with the range and accuracy as well as the consistency of shots. From what I've seen there should be plenty of room to use bbs up to .40g bbs although in my opinion that would be unnecessary. And I honestly forgot that this wasn't real wood while playing.

Things I would have changed: The seals on this gun are not the greatest. After my first volley of tests the gun began to leak near the back of the back of the gas chamber. This was easily remedied by removing the forward hand guard and wrapping the area well in Teflon tape before putting it back together. Although, keep in mind doing any modification will void warranty. This is however a common problem with this gun and it should be expected.

What others should know: Mine required some modification to fix the hammer and seals not long after getting this gun out to test fire. It is recommended that players have some experience doing tech work on guns because this will likely require a bit of initial maintenance to get it skirmish worthy (which it can be).

  • Robert from USA asked:

What adapter or can of green gas could I use for this gun? Also, can I use a tank of standard propane to load this. If so how is this done?
