Gamo Swarm Magnum, Multi-shot Air Rifle
Benefits of IGT over Spring Piston:
Gamo broke the mold when it released the original Swarm Maxxim, the first successful multi-shot breakbarrel in over a decade. Now comes the Gamo Swarm Magnum the most powerful Swarm yet.
The Swarm Magnum is sure to become the definitive Swarm, taking everything shooters loved about the original and dropping in a revved-up IGT Mach 1 gas piston and Whisper Fusion technology to deliver next-level power as quietly as possible.
Featuring some of Gamo’s best technologies, the Swarm Magnum has all the benefits of gas-pistons including easy cocking, smoother shooting, and the ability to fire in cold weather. Once shooters load up their 10-shot rotary magazine, the Magnum can spit .22 cal. pellets at speeds up to 1,300 fps, a full 300 fps faster than the Maxxim. After every shot, simply break the barrel and the magazine automatically loads the next round into the breech. This perfected system has been left unchanged for multiple shots as fast as you can cock the barrel. By upgrading the suppressor system from the Whisper Maxxim to the Whisper Fusion, the Magnum benefits from Gamo’s quietest noise dampening technology to date.
The Magnum’s stock has changed for the better as well. Featuring a glass filled nylon synthetic thumbhole stock, the Magnum provides shooters with a comfortable hold in all-weather conditions. Resting atop the stock is an 11mm Dovetail Recoil Reducing Rail System (RRR), designed to reduce recoil stress on your included 3-9x40 scope. For crisp trigger pulls, the Magnum features Gamo’s Custom Action Trigger (CAT), an independently adjustable 2-stage trigger.
If you want the most powerful, most quiet version of this revolutionary multi-shot breakbarrel available, choose the Swarm Magnum!

Things I liked: Overall I am very happy with this air rifle. The trigger is easy to adjust and breaks clean and consistent. The magazine/loading mechanism has worked flawlessly. The cocking effort is noticeably higher than my other break-barrels, but it's not horrible. I usually shoot better with a heavier rifle, this one only weighs 6+lbs, yet the accuracy has been great. Off-hand (standing) I've been rewarded with a 1-1/2 inch 4 shot group at 30 yards and it's not even broken in yet. Without going supersonic this rifle seems a bit loud, but still quieter than a .22 firearm, certainly not a deal breaker.
Things I would have changed: Wish the mounting rail was moved back about 3/4". I'm using a Hammers 3-9x40AO and if your using the stop pin you cannot utilize the entire length of the rail. If I do not use the stop pin I can move scope back far enough. Probably not an issue for most shooters. Cannot really comment on the scope since I did not use it, however I wish Gamo would sell the rifle without a scope option and offer at a lower price. I am happy enough with this rifle that these are not deal breakers, just my 2 cents.
What others should know: Out of the box the rifle shot 987fps with Crosman 14.33's. Pretty consistent so far. If your on the fence, just get one (I waited for PA to have a 10% off sale).
Things I liked: Smooth operation. Comparatively easy to cock.
What others should know: I am having trouble getting consistent groups. Have tried a couple different pellets with apparent same erratic patterning. Most group well, then it will throw one high and wide or low and wide for no apparent reason. Iv'e only shot a hundred or so pellets a this time. Hoping it will settle down. I have watched the video on accuracy with a break barrel, and am implementing all those pointers.
Things I liked: That air rifle is not my first rifle, but best from all.
Things I would have changed: Noting.

can anyone hit a bullseye with this gun the videos don't show accuracy no video yet shows abullseye hit is it the gun ?is it the guy that sights the gun ? in or is it the shooter???
You possibly could have a dud but I've fired hundreds pellets through this gun and hit bullseys at 30+ yards. But with spring guns it comes down to how you hold the gun even at a bench rest.
I just purchased the Swarm Magnum. Now that everyone has had a chance to shoot this gun quite a bit....what are the best all around pellets I should buy for accuracy and still have fairly good velocity???
Best luck I had with mine was Predator GTO pellets and JSB 18.13 grain, though the heavier pellets are not as consistent as the GTOs for some reason....must have a barrel that just likes them a lot
Can you use any brand of .22 pellets with this gun? Like the Crosman Premier destroyers?
Crosman Destroyers should be just fine in this rifle. Not all pellets will fit the magazine though, so keep in mind that the longer pellets pay not fit
