Seneca Sumatra 2500 rifle
A hard Plano rifle case (PL1502-01) is strongly suggested!
We tested the gun with Eun Jin pellets. Below are the shots listed from first to the sixth:
.22 caliber, 28.5 grains, 3000 psi
Lighter pellets will deliver faster velocities, heavier pellets will give slower velocities. Our tech department tested the .25 cal. Sumatra with 35.8-grain Eun Jin domed pellets:
Shot No. 1: 1032 fps
Shot No. 2: 1021 fps
Shot No. 3: 1009 fps

Things I liked: The gun is well made and looks good
Things I would have changed: Never worked ! $799 gun broke in less than 100 shots and they now want $200 to fix it.
What others should know: Do not buy - Junk
Things I liked: Power, power and more power. Accuracy is sharp. I like shooting it cowboy style with no bags on a bench or standing. Nice groupings despite a good kick. Fun lever action.
Things I would have changed: Not much. The air tube does not hold the fill 100% after filling but settles to about 3/4....I decided to fill it then turn it muzzle down before opening the pump release valve and it helps a bit. Not a big deal for me.
What others should know: Little loud for the backyard even with a DonnyFL moderator so warn your neighbors that your installing a deck with your pneumatic nail gun for a few weeks...
Things I liked: It's a pretty nice air rifle. Looks are not that important to me but it is really nice to see walnut in a plastic world. Power seems to be as advertised. Haven't measured velocity yet but 16 gr.pellets seem to go supersonic. Pyramyd followed my shipping instructions and rifle arrived in bush Alaska in about a week.
Things I would have changed: Kinda heavy but so what? Magazines could be improved with some type of detent to keep pellets from falling out. Somewhat difficult to insert magazine especially with scope in place.
What others should know: Cracks like a rimfire when fired. If you have that kind of money to spend, go for it. Durability yet to be determined, if it continues to function for a couple or more years itll be a favorite of mine.

Hi, I've got a Sumatra 500 PCP. I'm having problems trying to pump it up for the first time. Bought it months ago & when I tried to pump it up with my Hill air pump (for the first time) it seems to just reach a limit of pressure that doesn't allow me to pump it up any further. I can hardly get 10 x pumps before it seems impossible. When I check the air pressure gauge on the rifle I noticed that it doesn't move one bit. I suspect the air is not going in. Any tips would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance, the air pressure on the rifles gauge reads under 10 in the yellow zone.
Can you use the hand pump on the Seneca Sinatra 2500
leaking air from fill port. New rifle.Any advise?
If the air comes out as you try to fill. First ,with the air fill hose connected, tip the muzzle toward the floor. Tap the muzzle end fairly hard on a hard surface, board ,table leg, etc. This should help the check valve close. It sticks. If the fill is leaking out after the gun has been sucessfully completed the gun is defective. Return it.
To fill your PCP gun:
1.Pick a source of air shown at right
2.If an adapter is needed, one will be shown
3.Add both to your cart to get hooked up
