Not actually using it as a firing handgun, it is being used as a prop. Bought it because it closely resembles A S&W Model 28.
Things I Would Have ChangedA little longer barrel option would be great.
Full sized representation of a .357 magnum. Hand filling grip. When hammer is cocked the cylinder rotates into battery as a real revolver for single action fire and double action works correctly as well. Full length pull of the trigger moves the hammer back, rotates the cylinder and then releases the hammer to fire. Having individual cartridges to place in the cylinder helps in using this revolver for training live firearms trainees. I did have to deal with a frame issue but once dealt with it worked perfectly as above.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe cylnder rotation studs, which are part of the extractor plate, could be improved by making that entire piece out of a metal alloy.
What Others Should KnowThere was a slight gap in the frame on the right hand side of the revolver when I first inspected it out of the box. This caused the revolver to not completely engage the rotation studs on the cylinder causing misfires. I loosened, then tightened, the frame screws and added a couple drops of super glue to keep the frame together just under the rear sight, it now works perfectly.
I Really Like the Fact that this Gun is Spot On to the Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum, 4 inch Barrel. It seems that the Scale is off in that it seems a bit larger than the Iconic .357 that was carried by Dozens of Highway State Police Organizations, throughout the Country , back in the 70's and 80's...
Things I Would Have ChangedWell,,, the first thing I had to do was to put a small rubber gasket around the Fill Nozzle at the Bottom of the handle. Initially , when I tried filling the gun the first time , gas went all over the place , not good . Luckily I had on hand some tiny o ring gaskets to fix the problem. The Gun is Mostly ALL Plastic and Light weight , with the exception of the hammer and the trigger. There is a Noticeable gap of 1/4 inch that lies between the hammer and the frame of the gun ,,, Lastly the sights need a bit of getting used to. thank goodness they made them ot of metal, and in closing there is , on the left side, some obtrusive writing that is annoying,,,
What Others Should KnowIf You are a Collector , like I am , I Strongly Recommend You buy this gun. It will bring back memories of the 70's. I have gotten about 35 - 40 shots per fill up on green gas. It's a Big clunky Beauty with a lot of history behind it , but If You want a Revolver ,,, i would Strongly recommend the HFC Model Hg -131 or 131c.
Works just like a real revolver! After loading the airsoft BB's into the shells, you load the shells into the cylinder, close it up and you're ready to fire in either single action or double action.
Things I Would Have ChangedMaybe the weight, feels a little light, and maybe better grips. Also would add a hop up, it tends to shoot a little low at 7 yards out of the box. The spring that's supposed to let you adjust the sights up is pretty weak and requires you to use some paper shims to adjust the rear sights upwards. Don't forget to loosen the front screw for the rear sights if you're going to adjust it, makes doing so alot easier.
What Others Should KnowI had a few jamming problems with three different types of .20g BB's that I tried, the biodegradable ones seeming to jam most often. I thought maybe the cylinder wasn't seating right, but I kept having problems with jamming. I also tried .12g BB's and they were better, but also jammed once in awhile. I had a few .25g BB's lying around the house from another gun I had bought and they worked way better. Fired about 60 rounds of .25g BB's and only got one that jammed. Even with the jamming, at 7 yards I still got a few six inch groups out of the box, after sighting it in of course. Overall it's a fun gun for the price! Oh, get some extra shells, I did!

I like the fact that uses green gas, and the look of the gun. I had to return it because it was leaking the gas. Not holding it at all.
Things I Would Have ChangedWish it worked as it was meant to.
What Others Should KnowSadly, I would not bother
