Have you ever shot steel BBs at a hard surface? We sure hope not because it's not a very good idea. But if you have, you know they ricochet! What if you didn't have to worry so much about ricochet and could shoot at something hard like a steel target, or even compete in a Cowboy Action Shooting like competition with a BB gun? Now you can!
Until now, traditional steel BBs weren't your best option for this type of 3-Gun competition because of ricochet. With the Smart Shot BBs worry less about ricochet and cleanliness and spend more time shooting. They're a great option for indoor shooting range and gallery rifles. If you're tired of plinking with the same old tin can because you're worried about ricochet, now you can enjoy shooting at steel targets.
The Excite Smart Shot BBs go through the copper-plating process not once, but twice. They're the exact same diameter as steel BBs (4.35mm). That rigorous process means the Smart Shot BBs are hard enough to prevent lead deformation in the magazine of your gun, but still soft enough to flatten on impact, meaning less ricochet worries for you. Since these BBs keep their shape so well, they are a great option for your spring-loaded magazines.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the Smart Shot BBs are made from lead they work best in BB guns that do not require a magnet to keep the BBs in place for shooting.

Things I liked: Great quality, and they do exactly what they say. They deform on impact and seriously reduce ricochets.
Things I would have changed: Of course the price is high, and the lead inside makes them more toxic than standard BBs.
What others should know: Buy some and try it with your gun first. As always, some guns will prefer certain ammo, and as already touched upon these are non-magnetic. I have a Beretta 92A1 Full Auto and the accuracy is pretty poor with standard BBs - I hoped these would improve it, but they did the opposite. From 10 yards, dead centered on the target, I cannot even hit the pellet trap. As people say with the Beretta, it normally shoots low-right, with these it shoots VERY low-right - multiple inches off - but I cannot blame the ammo for this. Also, unlike stated in a previous comment, these do work perfectly fine with full auto.
Things I liked: Safe for indoor target shooting
Things I liked: Free bbs with my order
Things I would have changed: Somehow make it magnetic?
What others should know: They are what they are. Just dont work so well in my old daisy that needs magnetic bbs :(
