it worked as sayed it would....

It handles the pressure as it should once it is correctly put together for the specific application. It has optional seals for different applications.

There should be some directions that cover the instances when the optional parts may serve better than the depicted Delrin seal. The lack of directions for this is the only reason that I lowered the rating from a 5.

Using this QD with the Hatsan Flash QE fill probe initially resulted in leaks that I would have sworn were due to the fill probe o-rings not sealing. It seemed as if the air was escaping around the fill probe where it seated into the Flash and not around the base of the QD where it joined to the QD. However, Pyramydair tech support (Cory, in this case) agreed to send me replacement o-rings but told me he believed it to be more likely a problem with the Delrin seal not being able to conform to the highly sloped inside of the Hatsan fill probe. He was correct and using the flat washer with the internal o-ring as the seal as he suggested completely fixed the problems.

Rated to much higher pressure than my airgun uses, Delrin seal don't leak. made of steel, not brass.

possibly Anodize to prevent rust.

This fitting must be wrench tight not to leak.

I really cannot "like" or dis-like the product...yet? Mine came WITHOUT the white Delrin washer; I emailed a request, hoping to receive one so I may fill my Air Arms cylinders.

Perhaps that packers check to see the washer is in, before they ship it?

I've been a long-time customer of Pyramid, giving them stellar revues until this... stuff does happen... I'm keeping the fingers crossed I get the missing part in short time!

The color

It would not fit my pumps female fitting ,while the hose fits fine on my other rifles. Either this fits other types of Foster fittings or the quality control is lacking by the manufacturer.

Soft sealing washer allows it to be attached with little more than hand tight and seals well.

Inexpensive, does what it is supposed to. Needs to be wrench tightened.

Mark what it is on it.

You need this to use your hand pump or quick-connect on some airguns. Mine is a Hatsan Galatian.

they need to add torque specs for the Delrin seal - or at least say no more than 1 full turn once seated

Makes connecting from quick disconnect on tank to fill port on gun quick and easy.

When I first installed the connector to the fill probe it was leaking a bit, so I had to call customer support at Pyramyd Air and they connected me to Air Venturi tech support. I found that I needed to tighten the connector much tighter than I thought was normal in order to stop the leak. It would be great if Air Venturi would include some simple instructions with this item indicating the torque necessary to create a leak proof connection.
