    Things I liked:

It improved my accuracy on my Benji 392. It is light, compact, and well built.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

If you have a benji 39X, This sight makes a good rifle better!

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Good value for the price. This isn't a high end Williams sight but is sufficient for the Benji 392 where I didn't want to mount a scope.

    Things I would have changed:

More precise adjustments. As it is, you just loosen screws and move the sight by hand. Clicks would be very helpful.

    What others should know:

Some have said there wasn't enought downward adjustment. This sight worked OK on the Benji 392 at the lowest setting. This represented a zero of 25 yards with 4 pumps or 8 yards with 2 pumps.

    Things I liked:

    very good sight

    Things I would have changed:

the vertical lock screw has was looks like an aluminum wedge , this seems to bend a give you the impression that you cant move the sight low enough. if you remove the screw and lightly file the wedge on the washer it will work fine.

    What others should know:

get this sight for your gun, a great adition to it.

    Things I liked:

Good design. Good operation. Good fit on Model C Sheridan pellet rifles that are pre-drilled for this sight.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe use a 3 screw mount or larger screws to strengthen the fit on the Sheridan brass receiver.

    What others should know:

Be careful when installing this sight. Use the proper size screwdrivers and light torque as the Sheridan receiver, to which the sight is bolted, is made of soft brass. Otherwise you will strip the receiver threads.

    Things I liked:

recently purchased the williams peep sight for my benji 392 mostly because of my "old eyes". i wear glasses with bi-focals and could hardly focus on the benji's iron sights. intalled the peep sight and before long was shooting 10's at fifty feet. it's amazing that you pull the gun up and the sight picture is there and seems to line up on its own! very quick! if you have failing eyes, you need this.

    Things I would have changed:

had to grind and file my sight in order to get the gun to shoot low enough. apparently this is what most have to do. why can't the maker just relocate the two mountin holes as there is enough room between the sight and the reciever and that would solve the whole problem.

    Things I liked:

Easy to attach to gun, easy to adjust, HUGE improvement over the stock rear sight. It went right on, and after about 5 minutes of adjustment, the pellets were hitting right where I wanted them to. It wrings every last bit of accuracy out of my 397 - it seems like I can miss! Shooting is almost boring!

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing.

    What others should know:

If you are not planning on scoping your 397/392, this is a must have! This is my backyard pest getter, and anything within 15-20 yards is and easy shot. No way I could have shot this gun half as well with the stock sights. If you want to realize your gun's accuracy potential, get one of these sights!

    Things I liked:

I love how this peep sight just screws right in to the pre-drilled holes from the factory. I still don't know why Crosman simply can't put dovetails on their Benji/Sheri pumpers.

    Things I would have changed:

The peep sight will not adjust low enough to shoot straight, I had my elevation bottomed out, and with 8 pumps form the 392 with Crosman Premier Hollow Points, shot about 4 inches high at 30 yards. You can simply grind down the sight some, and It will work, but be cautious........You can easily damage the sight as well.

    What others should know:

Don't expect to drop right on the gun and go sight in, you have to grind it down some,.

very easy to install took about 2 minutes all metal no plastic way better than the stock sights it fit my 11 year old blue streak great

    Things I would have changed:

nothing its great just the way it is

    What others should know:

you need this it will make you a more accurate shooter

    Things I liked:

I purchased this for a older Bengamin 397 most definate older than the last 5 years. Best thing I can say is it need a boat load of file adjustment to get it shooting low enough.

    Things I would have changed:

Should be a "do not even try this on a bengamin older than fives years old unless you have files and like to curse.....

    What others should know:

For those that want to take this on. I had to file the under side of the sight slide assembly until it would seat low enough to just get a POA=POI @ 30 yards any targets closer I will now have to learn my hold unders for this plinker.

    Things I liked:

Excellent sight that will just about cut your leaf sight groups in half. Get some different size apertures to go small for target work or larger for hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure if this model is available with target knobs but that option would be excellent.

    What others should know:

It installed on my Benjamin 342 so it may fit other models beyond the description listing on this item.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Groups improved dramatically, much easier to use than stock rear sight

    Things I would have changed:

Would be nice to have dial adjustments instead of loosening screws and tightening them again after making manual adjustments

    What others should know:

I had to file off the corners of the base a little bit on the side that mounts to the gun to get it to fit into that recession, otherwise the small screw wouldn't grab. I've also had no problem with shooting too high at any distance, elevation works great

    Things I liked:

Was easy to Install and to Adjust. Its a Must on all Benji & Sheridan Rifles.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Still makes the Rifle easy to load & Pump

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

simple and well made, all in metal. No plastic fantastic Very easy both to mount and use. Improves groups a lot. The peephole is large enough so that you may also use it in low light.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price and simplicity, there really isn`t much to change. One of the screws included was damaged/deformed making it unusable. Include a couple of spare screws.

    What others should know:

Even at lowest setting i overshoot the bullseye by approx 15 cm with standard weight wadcutters at 2-3 pumps from 10 m distance. Baracuda xtra heavy at 3 pumps hits the bullseye at the same distance, but using the baracudas for short range shooting is a bit of a waste i think. A better solution will be to build up the front sight a bit, or do some filework on the peep sight as mentioned by some reviewers.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Quality is very good. Everything was there to mount it and the instructions were clear. Installed in less than 5 minutes. Definitely improved my sight picture over the original notch rear sight. Shipping was very fast and emails kept me informed of my order.

    Things I would have changed:

The base of the aperture needs to be thinner to allow the sight to go a little lower on the Benjamin 392.

    What others should know:

I ran out of downward adjustment and could not zero at 10 yds. At 15 yds it was dead on target but I do some shooting at closer ranges. Overall, I think it is a very good value for the money and would recommend it.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

    Accurate, fairly easy to install

    Things I would have changed:

Include actual photos for each step of installation and adjustment instead of poor line drawings. Reason for only 4 star rating.

    What others should know:

    Have some blue loctite handy.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Great for 67 year old eyes.

    Things I would have changed:

This is a hunting sight, would like a smaller aperture for target shooting.

    What others should know:

Bought this to upgrade my 35 year old sheridan and it fit action profile just right. Every one I talked to at williams and air venturi said it would fit the new drilled and tapped models but didn't know about old models not drilled and tapped. It fit the old model action good, found an artical in an old airgun digest [1977] about how to install it installed it and it works great.

    Things I liked:

    Well made.

    Things I would have changed:

It was well made, but would not work at 10 meters.Had to modify the fit.Worked on it for hours.Still not what I hoped it would be.

    What others should know:

    You are waisting your money.

  • Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Pretty solid construction, and goes on easily.

    Things I would have changed:

The problem is it shoots high at 10m. I did research on the web and sounds like I need to file a little off of the bottom of the part with the lines on it, to get it seat lower in the base... pretty well documented on the web.

    What others should know:

Would have given it 5 stars, but I need to do a little machining to get it to work the way I want. Still a good price for a precision peep sight.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Easy to install and sight in. Great Williams quality. Much better than the old Benjamin V-notch rear sight the gun came with.

    What others should know:

I fit my old Benjamin 397P like a glove.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Easy installation and adjustment. Solid when mounted, makes the rifle look better too. Quick and accurate in use.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe offer a smaller aperture or two as options.

    What others should know:

With the adjustment bottomed out I'm getting dead center at 55-60 feet. Compensation at other ranges is simple.
