    Things I liked:

    Sight picture.

    Things I would have changed:

I added a Williams /Crosman 64 peep sight to a Bejamin 397 and had to modify it to get it low enough. Either the holes in the sight or the gun were off.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Easy to install, well made, and easy to use.

    Things I would have changed:

I think it needs a hand adjustment screw, on the elevation, and more then just one peep hole size.

    What others should know:

On my Benjamin 392PA the first line on the top (elevation ) is 20 yards, each line is about 10 yards, but to go 10 yards you have to tap it down pass the lines, at least mine drops down that far. in basic It impoved my rifle accuracy. and gave me a farther range with my rifle "big impovment"

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

The adjustments are precise and easy to do

    Things I would have changed:

The hole in the peep becomes the rear sight, and I had to guess where the center of the circle is in order to place the front sight. Yes it is accurate, but only as accurate as the original factory sight which I prefer

    What others should know:

    I prefer the factory sight.

    Things I liked:

the sight was easy to use, very simple. improved accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

for some reason the sight aimed a little high on the lowest setting ,but i resolved that problem

    What others should know:

iv been used to open sights most of my life so peep sights are new to me its kinda hard to get used to

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

This site is very easy to install. The elevation adjustment is precise and well-designed. Aftre a few minor adjustments, I was able to achieve a 1/2 inch group (6 shots) with the rifle braced at 15 yards. The aperture is escellent for good to fair lighting.

    Things I would have changed:

The windage adjustment is a little more hit and miss. It appears, however, that once it is set, it locks down fine. It would be nice to see directions for removal of the rear site for Crosman (Benjamin & Sheridan) products. I eventually figured it out..

    What others should know:

I mounted this site on a new Benjamin 397 air rifle. The rifle was pre-drilled for the screws on the new site. This site makes a very accurate rifle even more accurate.

    Things I liked:

Fanfreakingtastic...One bullseye after another.. quality machining.

    Things I would have changed:

Why don't they sell the benji with this?

    What others should know:

make sure your screws are tight when finished.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Very nice looking. Great for the 392, or 397. Affordable price, and makes the 392 way more accurate than the back sights given.

    Things I would have changed:

For some reason, with the peep sight installed my 392 shot a little high. If you file away the bottom of the peep, (where all the little white lines for adjustment are), you can move the peep sight down further and it will be completely accurate.

    Things I liked:

Easy to install... Much better view of your target and front sight... You will achieve tighter groups, and hit difficult targets...

    Things I would have changed:

The Peep HOLE!!!!! I don't know why they dont make it fixed to the sight... After an afternoon of intense shooting and pumping... I was on my house cleaning and oiling my Benji 397, and when I looked at the peep sight.... THE PEEPHOLE FELL OFF without me noticing.... In other words, be cautious, and constantly screw in or put lock-tite on the Peep Hole (it unscrews easily)....

    What others should know:

If you align it with the rear sight... YOU WILL NEVER MISS

    Things I liked:

Excellent upgrade for the Benjamin 397 or 392. Increases sight radius from 14 inches to 21 inches. Nice and low profile. Goes on very easily. Simple to adjust. Actually make the lines of the gun more appealing.

    Things I would have changed:

Would like to be able to lower it just a bit more.

    What others should know:

The standard rear sight on the Benjamins is a basic rear sight that lets them keep the price within reach of many shooters. Maybe they figure if you have a few extra bucks, you'll upgrade with a scope or good peep sight so why put extra money on a sight that will be replaced anyway.

    Things I liked:

I did an earlier review where I critiqued this item for not allowing enough elevation adjustment. It turns out it was the gun. I have a 397 and when I mounted this site on that rifle, it was just fine. I was able to shoot very accurately with the site. Approximately .15" c-t-c in a poorly lit garage at 7 yards. Since, I can't update the previous review, I decided to just add another with high marks. The fact remains the site needs modification to shoot on the other Benjamin that isn't that old.

    What others should know:

I did adjust the site to fire lower by filing away some metal on the underside of the site so it would fit more flush above the gun.

    Things I liked:

    1-nice finish 2-improved accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

1-Have a well defined witness mark for windage.

    What others should know:

I had to drill and tap the receiver--I did it myself. First epoxy the base on where you want it. Let it dry and now you have two free hands for drilling. The epoxying doesn't bother me since I bought the sight to put on--not on and off.

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

It's better than the sights that come on the Benjamin 392 and 397.

    Things I would have changed:

I would pay extra for click adjustment knobs. Also, the sight could use a wider range of adjustment. Crossman doens't make the Benjamin's like they used to be made. My 397 shot 3" high and 3" to the left at 25 yards. This sight barely had enough adjustment to take care of this flaw in the rifle.

    What others should know:

This sight is difficult to sight in because you have to losen screws and move the sight by hand---no precision here! And when you tighten the screws, you have to use extra care to make sure they don't move your adjustment. Makes sighting in a chore instead of a pleasure.

    Things I liked:

Nicely crafted, low-profile design, ease of installation, just plain useful

    Things I would have changed:

Instructions could include directions about how to remove old bladed sight

    What others should know:

A big improvement over my Benjamin 392's bladed rear site, which was darn near useless in most light conditions. This peep sight makes shooting the Benji Pumps much more fun, and it's priced right too. Low-profile design doesn't get in the way of you pumping the things, so in that sense, it's the perfect match for the Benji pumpers.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Inexpensive, quality product, vast improvement to open sights.

    Things I would have changed:

Definitely needs a secondary hash mark on windage adjustment and low-light aperture. Oddly the directions do not mention the need to remove your rifle's built-in rear sight or the way to do it. This peep sight should just be standard on the rifle as the built-in rear sight is pretty close to junk.

    What others should know:

Need to remove your rear sight, probably add a secondary hash mark to windage adjustment, might want to dab white / glow paint on front sight and/or purchase low-light aperture.

    Things I liked:

Great addition to the rifle, sighted in at 20 yards and makes shots on small game easy.Mounted it on my .22 cal Benjamin love it!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Easy to mount, and it holds its zero.

    Things I liked:

unit has nice fit & finish, easy to install & adjust. nice low profile on my silver streak c9a.

    Things I would have changed:

addition of secondary hash mark on the windage adjustment, similar to the elevation adjustment - to show incremental changes.

    What others should know:

    need to remove rear sight.

    Things I liked:

Very easy to install , setup. and adjust.

    Things I would have changed:

I would include a twilight aperture with the sight, or at least offer it as an accessory.

    What others should know:

This sight can only improve your shot....I'm hitting a golf ball at seventy feet three out of five times, and the misses are very near...I have it on my Benji .22 eight pumper...My old rear open sights are in storage, probably for good.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Small and compact design, does not get in the way of handeling the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    maybe offer one in silver/chrome

    What others should know:

This was the best sight investment for my Sheridan C9A. I bought and tried several mounts and scopes, some were ok but never had a great feel so i went back to open sights. I am not a big fan for the open sight so I then bought the peep. WOW I wish i done this from the start. Its fantastic, would have saved a bunch of dollars. The Sheridan and this peep is a perfect combo.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Doesn't affect the lines of the gun. Classic accessory for a classic air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun will shoot way too high with this installed. I have a newer production (3 years old) CB9 and it shoots about 4 inches high with the lowest setting. You will need to do some grinding on the sight to get it to set low enough.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

It is nice, compact and without target type adjustment knobs it gives you a good open sight picture for moving targets.

    Things I would have changed:

For my intended use; moving furry targets and low light conditions I added a Williams Twilight Apperature. They have brass ring pressed into the 3/8" disk that is much easier see in low light. Some call it a "Ghost Ring" so you can just concentrate on the front sight and the varmit. They work fine for target too and well worth the $8.00 cost to try one. You just need to unscrew the old target black apeture and thread in the Twilight apeture. You now have a spare if one gets lost.

    What others should know:

I shoot a gun with a Twilight Apeture with both eyes open then it is easier to keep track of the target that is moving.
