Self-centering on dovetail, with sufficient clamping pressure. Quality made product.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing!

What others should know:

These fit perfectly on BSA dovetails (Sportsman HV, R-10)

Things I liked:

Outstanding mounts and easy to use. These provide a good low mount to the barrel even with the large bell on my scope, so not much drop to correct for. Built to last. Slowly changing out from SportsMatch AT66 to these for all my competition rifles

Things I would have changed:

They should be sold as a pair like the 1" versions rather than singly.

What others should know:

One of the rings Pyramyd sent had obviously been opened and mounted up. The ring was in pieces and had scratches all around the mounting hex bolts. I thought Pyramyd should have caught that but this set had been hard to get and I did not want to send them back as I needed them now. A little buffing and touch-up and I was fine, but buyers should purchase any mount knowing that was my experience.

    Things I liked:

Made in USA, simple design to center scope.

    Things I would have changed:

More detailed instructions would be nice, with a deeper discussion on tightening torque for the ring caps.

    What others should know:

I used these rings to mount a Leupold VX-Freedom EFR Rifle Scope - 3x-9x-33mm on a TX200 HC w/ base screws torqued to ~35 inch lbs, ring caps to ~15. In >100 rounds there has been no movement. Coming from "real" guns I like to see the objective closer to the barrel but in this case that is a cosmetic preference, not functional. The TX200 comb is so high it works fine, and I could probably shoot well even with slightly higher rings.

Very well made the fit is always very good . I,ve used on air rifles and rimfire for years never a problem . I put them on a daystate hunter regal and anschutz 1712 look good function great. Made in USA nothing else to say.

    Things I would have changed:

There,s nothing I would change they got it right.

    What others should know:

Like everything else theyre a little expensive now but what isnt.

Love BKL rings! The only ones I know of that work perfectly on a curved dovetail. All my rifles get BKL rings and Leupold scopes.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

If you havent already, try a set. I don't know of another company whose rings fit an 11mm dovetail with a curved arc barrel.

    Things I liked:

Rock solid mounts for my TX / Hawke combo. Having two spring powered guns I can attest to the fact that scope movement can be a problem. Not with the BKL mounts. Springer rated, these mounts kick @$$!!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Some might say they are pricey, but you do get what you pay for. To me it's the design that's priceless. A great design is worth the money every time in my book.

    What others should know:

When Pyramyd recommended the BKL mounts to me I was a more than a little skeptic. The mounts do not use or posses a stop pin. However the salesman told me they have enough gripping power that they don't need one. To my relief they were correct. It really cones down to the design of the mount and it is a great one at that. Where other mounts will use several pieces to grip the rail the BKL mounts use a single piece design. This gives the user two important benefits. The first is the mount is 100% self centering on your rail. Because the mount is of a single piece design it is symmetric to, and will always be perfectly centered on the rail. In my case on the TX the fit of the mount was so tight I actually had to use the spreading feature just to get the mount bases onto my rail. Talk about gripping power! The second design feature is the double strap scope tube grip design. This design clamps the tube tightly without creating any damage. Great design leads to superior performance.

These are the best scope rings I have ever used , they are self centering and keep the scope in perfect alignment with the barrel, not to mention the griping power on the receiver, will never buy another brand.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not one thing.

    What others should know:

Cannot go wrong with this product, worth the extra money .

I ordered and installed 2 sets of these BKL rings on my Marauder Rifle dubbed the BW 4 "Black Widow" grins and the other forms Marauder MLR dubbed JD 4 "Jim Dandy" and as i read in one review I can vouch for one gets what they pay for..Quality and manufacture outstanding, the best. Highly recommend these BKL rings for any application.

    Things I would have changed:

    No way to improve perfection

    What others should know:

The fasteners fit so well they do not need to be tightened as much as other less quality cheaper rings I feel..holding perfectly without shifting..to date

Super sturdy, well designed, adaptable to multiple dovetail rails and auto-centering.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

"Stock" rings provided with my springer visually placed the scope off barrel centerline. Enough that I didn't even attempt to mount and zero. Turns out the rifle has an 11mm dovetail. The provided rings had a "side clamp" and were just not as stable as I would like. I actually had to spread these (instructions provided in package) to mount these rings on the dovetail. And the two screw clamping base is "solid". A little pricey but "you get what you pay for" in this product!

    Things I liked:

If your gun and scope combination allows use of these, do it.. The width of the gripping surface contributes greatly to strength and stability. The spreader screw system is brilliant. Available in different heights. Even on a non recoiling pcp the strength is appreciated and gives peace of mind. Very easy to install.

I have these rings on several of my field target rifles.I've never had a single problem with them moving, breaking, or working loose.

    Things I would have changed:

I've had to guess several times on the saddle height. I've always ordered the medium height rings and I've been lucky they've worked perfectly.

    What others should know:

Read the instructions that come with rings if you're a first time user.

I like that it has a stop pin on the rear mount.

    Things I would have changed:

It's very hard to tell if the stop pin is all the way down into the receiver a threaded stop pin would be much more positive.

    Things I liked:

High quality. Best dovetail mounts I've ever used. Mediums cleared my 44mm hawk varminter on my disco. I'm gonna get a single mount for the back so I can move the scope ahead for a better spot weld.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if pyramydair had a chart to let you know what height mounts you need

    What others should know:

Don't buy air force arm rings week junk. Bkl all the way. And yes they really do center the scope. My other mounts off set the scope causing me to use too much windage. Causing a offset parralax look through the scope.
