A much better way to mount a scope than using "clamp mounts" that attach to the barrel tube!

It is perfect for what I needed. It has made all the difference between having a simple 1322, to a fully customizable gun.

Good quality, a breeze to install and it works great! I bought it to install a BSA red dot sight. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Nothing except it would be nice to be able to keep the original rear sight.

EASY CHANGE OVER. REPLACED ON 2240 ADDED A 24" BARREL AND A 3-9 POWER GOLDEN ANTLER SCOPE. GUN SHOOTS JUST AS ACCURATE AS A 2260 BUT A HELL OF A LOT LIGHTER AND MUCH QUIETER. SHOULD HAVE THIS OPTION TO COME THIS WAY!!!!! LIKE A 2240S (STEEL BREACH)

MAKE SURE THE BARREL IS INSERTED ALL THE WAY AND OIL ALL SEALS BEFORE REASSEMBLY.

The heft this kit adds to the feel and balance of the air gun is outstanding. With a 3x9 scope added it is super accurate. Was shooting aspirin bottle caps off a shelf while they were lying flat, from 20 yards. A sight picture only 3/8 inch high.

The directions were slightly confusing. I have the .22 model and the directions were for the .177 model.

I wasn't pleased with the adjustable sights (LPA MIM). I ran out of vertical adjustment trying to get the front sight down. All the way down the gun was still shooting high. That's the reason for the scope.

Straight forward instructions.

This adds more things you can use to improve the accuracy of your shooting eye. When your eyes get my age you need a little help sometimes.

Had it installed at PA before shipping. They did a nice job but you can do it yourself if you like.

Well made, easy to install. Feels better than the plastic breech it replaces. It allows a choice of optics.

The instructions were hard to read but plenty of illustration are available on U-Tube.

The gun works fine with the standard factory breech but the steel breech is a good improvement.

Very solid piece of steel. Has a great blackened finish. Adds nice weight to my 1322. Extra weight feels good with the custom stock. The piece came nicely greased up. The bolt slides nice and smoothly. Its 6" long so about 3" of your barrel is in the breech. Which helps with barrel wobble and accuracy. The seal is much tighter from the air tube to barrel. I can notice the added fps with the steel breech. I been shooting gourds, those hard pumpkins, and before the steel breech it was shooting straight threw with 5 pumps. Its shooting threw with 4 now

I payed 11+ dollars to have it shipped 3-5 days. I got it in 6 days not including Saturday and Sunday. So eight if u add those days. About the breech though a longer probe handle would be nice. A grove or hole on the top for the screw on the scope rings to screw down indo.

Its a quick and simple upgrade for a 1322.

Nice solid heavy duty breech. Now I can mount optics on my Crosman 2240. Has a 3/8 dovetail rail. Makes the gun look and feel like a high end air pistol. All hardware is included with the exception of one tiny little screw that is reused to mount the breech.

Instructions were a little difficult to read due to poor copy sheet.

I am a 48 year old lady with my first air gun. I have always had firearms. I had no trouble installing the breech. Allen wrench included with kit. Look on Youtube for some great instructional videos. Pyramyd Air is THE place to shop for all my air gun needs. The customer service is fantastic!

Having a rail to mount a scope on my pistol; that's the reason I bought it. I mounted a Barska Red Dot scope for only $30. It work great; only needed a few click to set the bulls-eye.

This part cost almost as much as the original pistol, change that! Also, it adds a lot of weight to the pistol. If it was firing real bullets I might appreciate this, but on a pellet gun its excessive. The feeling when you get when after you load the pellet and push the bolt lever forwared and down is not as smooth as the stock brass & plastic components. When you push the new bolt lever forward it catches slightly and doesn't smoothly fall down in the locked position. You have to sort of deliberately push the lever forward, then down.

POORLY PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS! The instructions that came with the parts were so poorly printed and the print was so small - almost illegible. It was a strain to understand them. But they are important. The sequence of operations much be followed step-by-step. There is one tiny little screw that has to be removed and then re-used. Be careful not to lose it or strip it. I also had trouble threading the new bolt lever into the bolt. The threads were a little rough and I was: 1) concerned that I'd cross thread them and 2) that they'd strip if I over tightened. I resorted to using some loctite and not tightening very much.

First I would say the speed of receiving the part from Pyramid Air. Nice machining and finish, longer nose on bolt, scope mount.

Make the bolt handle a little longer as my hand would rub the bolt cut out

Nice up grade for your 2240

Great craftsmanshaft. "Must have" for 2240 and 2260 owners. Works great with my "custom made" 2240.

People claims that the pushing rod is too short. I think it's ok, but crosman should do it longer make some users more happy.

The bolt lever tends to get loose. I've just used a rubber o-ring to lock the lever.

This allows you to mount a full size scope, which added accuracy & distance to my pistol...it's made of heavy duty steel & comes with all the parts needs for the conversation....

Would like to have paid 1/2 of what I did pay, even though the breech & all parts were heavy duty & well made I felt it could have been a little less expensive!!!!

This breech will allow you to add a full size pistol scope, that then will greatly increase accuracy & the distance of your pistol... After hours & hours of shooting & knowing how my pistol shoots, I'm shooting a softball size ballon at 50 yards consistently!!!!

Huge improvement on the 2240

Better quality control.

With the bolt handle screwed in tight it was impossible to slide the bolt back and forth. I had to use locktite and back the bolt handle out a half turn for proper functioning
