Lasso Scope Mount Reviews

Super cool rail for my Red Ryder. Needed a spacer 1/16-1/8” under rear, then perfect sighting for my 4x32 scope at 35-40 feet.

Include 4 or so spacer washers for vertical adjustment.

3/8 dovetail in well machined aluminum alloy. Fits Red Ryder perfectly.

Easy to install and Works perfectly.

Nothing, except add written instructions.

There are no instructions. Just remove the rear sight riser. Unscrew the long top screw holding the stock. Then lift the rear sight and slip the lasso mount underneath and push until it fits. Then replace the long top screw until tight. Then attach your scope.

Seems to be the cleanest and lowest mount for the Red Ryder.

Include the needed spacers for the rear of the mount and the threaded stud and brass nut for the front as shown in the video.

Does NOT come with any hardware whatsoever. Had to come up with washers to place under the rear of the mount to level it somewhat. No sign of any brass nut or threaded stud for the front. The mount just slips under the front sight. Expect some movement side to side in the front, and the whole mount flexes up and down in the middle. Better than nothing I guess, but it looks like it used to be better (as in the video).

Not working

This mount is not working on red ryder, the underneath spacer is not correct and it makes the whole mount bended and in this case I cannot sight the scope at all!

NOT WORKING, not suggest to buy

I got this mount 3 days ago. Installed it on my Red Ryder without any washers in the back. Could not even hit the target at 15 paces. I had to scrounge around testing many different washers (this meant of course removing/installing the scope many times) until I found one that would allow me to at least hit the paper. I now have my elevation turned down the whole way and the gun still hits 2" high at 15 paces. This thing needs proper washers to work. Pretty much a waste of money the way it is.

Include proper washers and instructions on how to use them.

Easy to install two minutes and had it and scope in!

Just a heads up to anyone who buys this mount !!! Don't listen to what the tech' tell you at pyramid air !! You will need 3 small washers to put this mount on your red ryder or any other gun that it will fit !! I talked to Doug at pyramid air and he told me that the mount did not need washer to mount it ! WRONG !!! If you don't use washers the mount will bow up in the middle ! And the POI will be way off !! I told Doug to read the reviews posted on pyramid air about this mount and he said he was familiar with the reviews but that the reviews where for the old Style mount !! Well Doug the mount i got was the new style mount and IT DOES NEED THE WASHERS SO THAT IT CAN BE MOUNTED THE RIGHT WAY !!! So Doug please take a look at the reviews on this mount before you tell someone else the wrong information again !!

Does not fit my Adult RR. Slot does not come in right place. Big arch between slot and screw when you screw it down. Washers( not included) did not help.

I was under the impression that more parts would be included. Got this idea watching the included video in your ad. Will see if it will be necessary for me to go to hardware store for parts.

Scope mount is well made and cleverly (and easily) fits securely on a Daisy Red Ryder. The 3/8 inch rail accommodates many of the .22 rimfire scopes in the $30-$50 range. Do not mount a $2,000 Leupold (accept you are shooting a Red Ryder); but mount something more substantial than the $15 Daisy tiny tube which defeats the purpose of mounting a scope in the first place.

Adapter performs just as advertised.

No need to buy additional adapter that provides 7/8 inch Weaver option. Plenty of scope rings fit this 3/8 inch adapter right out of the box.

It works well , I did not get it to mount a scope I installed an adjustable peep sight . to get windage a seemingly simple object that Eludes Daisy's Red Ryder

Allows a scope on the Red Ryder .177 lever Daisy (something I was told by local suppliers was not available.)

Requires a very thin washer (.005") at rear screw to be level with barrel.

It's made of metal not plastic and fits the dimensions of the Red Ryder BB gun perfect.

The top of the BB gun is not a perfectly level surface so some type of spacer is needed under the rear of the rail where the screw is reinstalled.

The adjuster for the rear sight must be removed to allow the front of the rail to lock into place. If you think you might ever want to restore your BB gun to original the little part should be stored away in a place you will remember.

Add a couple washers to the package incase your scope doesnt have enough adjustment.

I just wanted to add another review because I really enjoy a scope on my Red Ryder. Having a precise aiming point makes it even more accurate. The Red Ryder is a great shooting BB gun. Its really fun with the scope. Read your scope directions if you are not experienced at adjusting a scope to be clear for YOUR eye and zeroing it in.
