Easy to install and Works perfectly.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing, except add written instructions.
What Others Should KnowThere are no instructions. Just remove the rear sight riser. Unscrew the long top screw holding the stock. Then lift the rear sight and slip the lasso mount underneath and push until it fits. Then replace the long top screw until tight. Then attach your scope.
Seems to be the cleanest and lowest mount for the Red Ryder.
Things I Would Have ChangedInclude the needed spacers for the rear of the mount and the threaded stud and brass nut for the front as shown in the video.
What Others Should KnowDoes NOT come with any hardware whatsoever. Had to come up with washers to place under the rear of the mount to level it somewhat. No sign of any brass nut or threaded stud for the front. The mount just slips under the front sight. Expect some movement side to side in the front, and the whole mount flexes up and down in the middle. Better than nothing I guess, but it looks like it used to be better (as in the video).
Not working
Things I Would Have ChangedThis mount is not working on red ryder, the underneath spacer is not correct and it makes the whole mount bended and in this case I cannot sight the scope at all!
What Others Should KnowNOT WORKING, not suggest to buy
I got this mount 3 days ago. Installed it on my Red Ryder without any washers in the back. Could not even hit the target at 15 paces. I had to scrounge around testing many different washers (this meant of course removing/installing the scope many times) until I found one that would allow me to at least hit the paper. I now have my elevation turned down the whole way and the gun still hits 2" high at 15 paces. This thing needs proper washers to work. Pretty much a waste of money the way it is.

What Others Should KnowJust a heads up to anyone who buys this mount !!! Don't listen to what the tech' tell you at pyramid air !! You will need 3 small washers to put this mount on your red ryder or any other gun that it will fit !! I talked to Doug at pyramid air and he told me that the mount did not need washer to mount it ! WRONG !!! If you don't use washers the mount will bow up in the middle ! And the POI will be way off !! I told Doug to read the reviews posted on pyramid air about this mount and he said he was familiar with the reviews but that the reviews where for the old Style mount !! Well Doug the mount i got was the new style mount and IT DOES NEED THE WASHERS SO THAT IT CAN BE MOUNTED THE RIGHT WAY !!! So Doug please take a look at the reviews on this mount before you tell someone else the wrong information again !!

Super cool rail for my Red Ryder. Needed a spacer 1/16-1/8” under rear, then perfect sighting for my 4x32 scope at 35-40 feet.
Things I Would Have ChangedInclude 4 or so spacer washers for vertical adjustment.
What Others Should Know3/8 dovetail in well machined aluminum alloy. Fits Red Ryder perfectly.
