They should add some shim washers for the rear mounting in case your scope does not have enough adjustment.

I used two washers total of 3mm under the rear of the scope mount to get my Barska 4 power scope zeroed in. Works great on my Red Ryder.

Fits great

Installation took only a couple of minutes. Instructions were right on the package.

Your Red Ryder still won't be a laser but it will be better than with open sights -- a little better anyway.

This product would not fit my Daisy 95B. That's what I bought it for.

PS: Other than the bend in the top portion of the container holding the mount which I previously mentioned, the packaging was very attractive and the directions for installation, accompanied by the pictures, was very informative and helpful.

I bought the aluminum mount. This is a solid, precision made piece that greatly enhances a shooter's enjoyment of the BB gun it's mounted on. Makes shooting the gun a lot more fun when equipped with a scope!

The packaging arrived bent at the top portion of the packaging away from the mount. The mount was not damaged, although the possibility of it becoming bent in shipment is still there considering the packaging that is being used.

This mount is easy to install and does not interfere with using open sights if the shooter wants to revert to open sights after installation.

Very good quality and inexpensive dovetail mount base for a Red Ryder BB Gun.

Please make it also available for other models like the #25 or equivalent.

This a really good and easy and inexpensive way to get a scope on a Red Ryder. It increases the fun you will have with the RR by 1000 fold. Easy to install, takes not even 5 minutes with scope mounting. I use this on my stock RR with an Daisy #808 4x15 scope and I'm able to hit what I'm aiming at out to 60 feet. I'll hit regular size dog food cans all day long up to 60 feet if I be fo my part.

Works just like it is should. Mounted easy. Sturdier than it looks.

I mounted a Centerpoint 4x x 40mm scope with no problems, but used a 1 piece scope mount to grip about 4" of the rail. The rail is plastic and might not be strong enough for a heavy scope with 2 piece rings.

It looks good on the gun. Everything is still proportional. You can see where the bb's are going and the gun is much more fun to shoot now. We love it.

The small threaded screw that the acorn nut goes on to mount the front of the scope mount needs to be fixed to the unit. It spins when you try to put the acorn nut on and it cannot be tightened or even snugged down enough to stay put. I had to put a drop of glue on the screw head under the scope mount to keep it in place.

If you have more than one gun you gonna' need that many scope mounts because everyone will want a scope on their gun too. You are going to need more washers to shim the rear of the mount too. On my 4 Daisy bb guns I had to put at least 2 # 10 washers and as many as 4 washers between the two plastic ones provided in the hardware kit that comes with the scope, not a big thing to do.

Ease of attachment to gun. Uses standard 3/8" air gun mounts.

Come up with a way to make it adaptable to a wider variety of BB guns.

As far as i can determine, this mount fits only three BB guns: Daisy 1938 Red Ryder BB gun Daisy Pink 1998 BB gun John Wayne Lil Duke BB Rifle

nice scope mount , seems to keep the scope secure from recoil movement.

the front screw needs a way to keep it from turning when tightening the nut.

Once & if you figure out how to mount it after a trip to the hardware store for parts it's ok. You gun ain't gonna' be any more accurate than it was but at least you can see where you missed.

Have to make the screw that goes in the front buckhorn sight slot part of the mount unit. You cannot screw the acorn nut on to the machine screw provided as it comes to you. As soon as the threads engage the screw it spins. That's not even sung and I don't see how it can stay put. I had to put a nut between the scope mount and iron sight to keep that screw from spinning so I could get the acorn nut on more than just touching the thread.

You ain't gonna' get any help from Pyramydair or the manufacturer. PA says they will have a tech call you back but they don't. The people you talk to on the phone don't know what you are talking about. They are the ones who tell you the tech is out to lunch and will call you back. The manufacturer just doesn't respond, They don't even answer the phone. PA called me after the purchase, before I opened the package and said they would send a whole new mount because the parts kit that I received with the unit was incorrect. All I got was more useless washers. I thought the whole replacement mount they said they were going to send me would have the screw fixed to the mount as a stud. That's the only way I can see how this would work without a whole lot of messing around with it. No, I didn't over tighten the acorn nut.

Great item and easy to install

Difficult to tighten acorn nut since bolt spins underneath. No way to hold it when tightening it down.

Just alittle expensive for a $25 bb gun but it seems like all firearm accessories and add-ons are over priced. But it works and I am glad I bought it. Wish someone would make one for the model 25 pump.

Easy to install

The Lasso Scope Mount performs just as promised and enables you to easily mount a scope with an 11 mm mount. Without a scope the original sights are still usable but the elevation slide must be removed.

The brass acorn nut (on the left end of the unit in the picture) was defective on my particular unit. The lead in was too deep so the threads did not engage no matter how hard I pushed it on to the screw. Fortunately, I had another nut in my junk drawer so I was able to quickly mount the unit. I would reduce the lead in on the acorn nut so the screw thread engages properly. I'm guessing I just happened to get a bad one. Not a big problem. This is the only reason i did not give the unit a 5.

Provides an easy and good looking way to mount a scope.

Would be nice if threaded stud that goes under rear sight was milled into the lasso instead held in place with a piece of tape. Granted there is no way it can fall out, but would look much nicer not seeing the edge of a piece tape.

Inserting the lasso under the rear sight is kind of a chore. You have to muscle the rear sight up enough to slip it under. Other than this it's an easy install and definitely recommend for those wanting to scope their Red Ryder. I mounted a Tasco 3-7x20 with 3030 TV reticle. Perfect little scope that compliments this little rifle very well.

It does what it claims: It allows you to mount a scope on a Red Ryder. The existing sight will still work with the Lasso in place so you do not have to add a scope right away.

Unfortunately, the brass acorn nut that came with my unit was defective. It had too deep of a taper on the inlet so I could not get any thread engagement no matter how hard I pushed it onto the screw. If I removed the lock washer and washer it would finally grab. I'll get a new one the next time I am at the hardware store. In the meantime, please let the manufacturer know they need to reduce the taper so the threads reach closer to the nut face.

With the Lasso installed you can no longer adjust elevation on the Red Ryder's rear sight.

This is an excellent way to attach a scope to the Red Ryder, Very easy to install and instructions are clear and concise.

If you have a youngster in your life and want to teach them how to use a scope and rifle, this is a very affordable way to do that.
