The A2 Badger is a quality knife for a fair price. The action of the blade deployment and retraction is has been smooth from the start and is getting smoother with use. It's a great little automatic OTF for use in strict CA.

I don't know what it takes to make an OTF—maybe it's way more complicated than I think and maybe the tolerances I expect from a knife in the 100-150 price range are too high but the badger is definitely nothing more than a tactical letter opener. Had to put my own edge on it. The action is satisfying though and the usb-flash-drive-like size of the thing is half the fun. It's certainly slick for a toy. I think would have been totally satisfied if the thing were priced at 50 bucks—something in the range of a solid budget single action OTF. I think enough things about it are right to warrant that value. That's my 2 cents.

Really, really like everything about this knife, but the size. I have fairly large hands and it becomes more like a box cutter than a EDC knife. That said, very solid build. OTF mechanism is solid and very responsive. It feels like you could open and shut it 1000s of times and never have a problem. Would recommend highly, it just wasn't what I was looking for. Good work Tekto. Build one with the tanto blade, but more in line with the size of the other OTF and I'll buy one the day it drops.

The overall knife is 1 to short. Great knife to carry in your pocket, but the ability to use the knife is limited.
