Things I liked:

This is a very big, very heavy rifle. That is not necessarily a bad thing, it contributes to bench rest accuracy but it would be a challenge to carry this thing while hunting. The wooden stock is one of the very best i have seen. It has no sling mounts. It is moderately difficult to cock the under lever, not necessary to be a weight lifter but not for weaklings. It is VERY accurate. The peep sights are effective but made of plastic, I hope they last over time. This air rifle REALLY comes into its own if the Air Venturi M1A/M14 scope mount is installed, it is rock solid and highly effective. Install a good quality 3 x 9 air gun scope and you will not be disappointed. Groups are TINY. Make sure you tighten down the action screws, they were loose when it was delivered.

Things I would have changed:

Action screws should have been good and tight from the factory but were loose when delivered. Rear peep sight is made of plastic, they work OK but I fear they will not last. Metal peep sights would have been better, but would have raised cost of the rifle. A version with a lighter tactical stock would be fantastic. I think the Air Venturi M1A/M14 scope mount is mandatory, I don't know if other versions of the M1A scope mount will fit, it looks like they may fit but i am not sure. I have the Air Venturi mount and it is fantastic. I would love sling swivels, but where to put them?

What others should know:

It took me several months of waiting after I ordered to get the Air Venturi M1A/M14 scope mount, they seem to be rare. I shoot this in my back yard, it is fairly quiet. It can easily be mistaken for an M1 or M14. Be careful and don't let people see you shoot it, they will think you are a sniper with an M1 Garand! I would not hesitate to recommend this spring air rifle. If you are a fan of the M1 Garand or M14 you will love it. For $200 (As of June 2021) it is well worth it. Get it!

Things I liked:

realistic replica of M1a

Things I would have changed:

better quality control

What others should know:

First rifle received, rear sight came apart, exchanged for another which broke after seven shots (cocking lever release). Sent back for a refund. It's a risk you take when you buy anything made in China. To bad, as it could be a fun shooting rifle. Buy one, maybe you will get lucky. I would like to say Pryamyd Air is first rate in customer satisfaction and will always have my business.

    Things I liked:

Look and feel of the military rifle carried into battle. Great work on the fit and finish of the wood stock. Peep sight worked better than expected

    Things I would have changed:

Fake magazine for storage of items would be cool. Pellet loading a bit difficult, dropping pellet while loading not fun.

    Things I liked:

    Consistant accuracy, Ease of reloading

    Things I would have changed:

The peep sight was wobbly and extremely loose! I discovered that by forcing a thin strip of matchbook cardboard down in the Gearing mechanism it eliminated the peep sight wobble and gave the rifle extreme accuracy. Also, I located a replacement regulation peep sight for the M1A rifle on Ebay for nominal costs and it was a direct fit.

    What others should know:

i sighted my M1 in at 30 yards, What I discovered is to not adjust the peep sight for longer distances just lower the pellet weight. I paid the 10 for 10 shots but I inadvertently discovered that the tester missed a couple of flaws. One biggie is the priming lever does not lock in the down position, it will go back without needing to use the release mechanism.

    Things I liked:

This rifle has the look and feel that is very close to a real M1A . After cleaning the barrel and breaking it in, JSB 10.3 pellets performed excellent. Average FPS (850).

    Things I would have changed:

A better rear sight. The adjustments are course and the peep sight tends to move around. A scope mount would take care of this problem.

    What others should know:

I ordered the rifle with zip up carrying case. Rifle fits the case well. However the tie-down straps inside are to short to secure the rifle. They are useless.

    Things I liked:

Reminds me of my M1 Garand, It is heavy. Mine is the 22 that i bught refurbished and after 100 or so of the H&n silver jets no issues and at 20 yards will stack them nice and tight.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have commented, sling mounts, plan on using it for rabbits and tree rars this fall, other than that, love the underlever, just remember its heavy and not easy to scope.. Oh yes steel sights would be nice.

    What others should know:

Got the refurb for 50 dollars less but no issues. Its worth it.

Box magazine for more realism and metal sights.

    What others should know:

Easiest method to load pellets I have found so far is to hold the skirt of pellet in index finger and tip of thumb with nose of pellet pointing towards bore, then just slide it in,quickest and easiest. Love shooting this baby, accurate as heck with peep sight.

    Things I liked:

The wood stock has a great look and feel for the rifle. The rifle looks very close to the original and even has the weight of the original. This M1A pellet rifle is fairly accurate at 45 yards using the gold Gamo Raptor Power pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic sights are poorly made and much care must be had not to break them. The sights should be made out of metal and not cheap easy to break plastic.

    Things I liked:

Love that it looks like a M1A and has the heavy weight of one

    Things I would have changed:

The cocking lever requires some muscle which is not the rifles fault but mine due to old age, so I find I need a strong platform to brace it against. The peep sight aperture is small, again old eyes.

    Things I liked:

I had forgotten how much the M1A (actually M14) weighed. It's a monster! That said, I love it! It shoots great, fun to heft, very accurate right out of the box. My wife joined the military far into my career and she was stunned at how heavy the rifle is. , but it was, and we all complained. Now I just love it! I'm infested with rabbits - I'm gonna go Elmer Fud on them!

    Things I would have changed:

    1) It needs a box magazine added even if for looks only. I will buy one and add it to the stick, for looks only. 2) Use shooting gloves. The opening in the stock for the cocking lever feels uncomfortable when hefting the rifle. This is a minimal issue. I like cocking the gun versus using the little CO2 cylinders and I don't want a PCP rifle. 3) The stock is unfinished. I will rub it down with a few coats True-Oil - not a big deal.

    What others should know:

    1) Lovely, accurate "manly" weapon. However, if you're going to put a score on it, the scope mount costs more than the weapon. 2) Did I say this before? It's heavy, just like it should be.

    Things I liked:

Solid & well built. Shoots well, stout trigger just like the real deal.. Good value, thanks Pyramyd!

    Things I would have changed:

Provision for dummy magazine, if a company is going to go as far as they did on this replica rifle, they should go all the way, 4 star for overall.

    What others should know:

Good service and prompt delivery. Where's the M1A/M14 scope mount as an accessory Pyramyd? :o)

    Things I would have changed:

Would have been nice if it came with the picatinny mount that's M1A specific, or if it was sold here.

    What others should know:

Looks like a duck, walks like a duck, weighs like one, fyi (heavy)

    Things I liked:

The rifle is very true to the actual weight of the original M1a.

    Things I would have changed:

I would try and put metal site post on the rifle to make it more durable.

    What others should know:

The wood stock isn't anything to write home about. All I did was just brushed some linseed oil onto the stock with steel wool. It brought out the Finnish of the stock. It gave the wood a rich Finnish and smooth texture.

    Things I liked:

It's great to find a military replica that's accurate, too. Out of the box it was hitting the 10 ring at 50 feet. Styling may not be 100% aligned with the actual gun, but it's close enough that there's no question this is intended to represent a battle rifle from that era. And it's fun to shoot. I wondered if the peep sight would be too challenging for my older eyes, but I was happily surprised that it's manageable.

    Things I would have changed:

The lever was a little crunchy at first, but smoothed out. As most people have posted, the access to loading pellets is difficult for sausage fingers

    What others should know:

The underlever takes a bit of muscle, but it's worth it for the zip it puts on the pellet. A good, cheap solution to the tight loading space is a pair of modelling tweezers. They work great, as long as you're not in a big hurry. Finally, although the gun is accurate and the peep sight is better than expected, there are far better options out there if you want/need a scope for precision shooting. It's a good-looking military replica with surprisingly good accuracy. Fun to shoot, too. Just make sure to use a rest, this sucker is heavy.

    Things I liked:

Heavy alright but it does what it's suppose to. Does look or feel like your average bb gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope... I don't know if it'll take a scope if it doesn't that'll be great

    What others should know:

    It's heavy!
